I always get a great haircut, my shape -up and beard line is always on point. Moved here about 6 months ago. Family atmosphere cool place with good folks every time I come here It feels like I never left Chicago!

Great hair cut

Got my boyfriend a cut while on vacation. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They did a great job on his hair too. It is a black barbershop with no problem cutting white hair

This is a family own business where my son got his first haircut and the atmosphere is family. Nothing but family life because everyone is treated the same. Rated 10 STARS

The Powells makes everyone feel welcome. Walking into this establish simply feels like entering into your own living room. This is home.

Great Barbershop

When I first moved to DC I was on the lookout for a local barber. Gave this place a shot and my haircut turned out to be average nothing special. I noticed that the shop is not well kept as there was hair everywhere as well as cutting tools all over the place.A few weeks later I decided to give this place another try. During my second visit the barber I went to was talking to people the whole time while cutting my hair and was very distracted. He half assed my cut and took his sweet time while he talked to people in the shop. Not to mention before he even started to cut my hair I told him specifically not to shape my beard up but he did it anyway!Will not go back to this barber shop. They are more places that give you what you pay for.
