@20 cut- cant beat it. This is primarily a Spanish speaking barbershop. Both females and males working. Have been here several times and I always fet a great cut. New barber Nahum has skills; I got his card. Check these guys out if your near Colombia Heights metro.

It now cost 25 for a man regular cut plus 1 dollar to use the credit card. Thats a big jump from 20. 2 stars because I actually like the cut.

They do amazing work! Had been growing out my hair for a while and decided it was time for a trim. It was about 15-20 mins in the chair and I couldn’t be happier with the results. All three barbers/stylists were super friendly. Great service and I highly recommend going to Alex’s!

They got my mans hair lookin on point. AND the people are cool to kick it with while you wait. AND theyre the best price in the city for any type of hair. Seats are always filled but theyre with the quickness! So make an appointment and go get lined up

Alexs is a great Hispanic culture barbershop. Ive taken my (Caucasian) 11 year old several times. Amazing attention to detail and fantastic results. Great atmosphere. The work Ive seen done on Hispanic hair has been very impressive as well. Elias is my favorite so far (2016-2017) and my recommendation if hes available, but I dont think you can go too wrong.

No wait, though they were busy for a Sunday afternoonRoom for improvement: As others mentioned, they cut your hair with you facing away from the mirror. I wish I could have seen them cutting, as I had some anxiety going to a new place and not being able to see what she was doing.

Skip DC’s overpriced barbers — seriously. Robert does great work. I showed him a picture of the haircut I wanted, and I got the same great cut every time.

They cater to the latino community. If you are not latino you get second rate service. I went here several times and found out the hard way. On multiple occasions a few of the barbers would not cut my hair even if they were available. I guess they dont like cutting black peoples hair. I was always sent to the less experienced hair stylist or barbers and would get an okay haircut. wont be coming back after I spent over $150 here, not to mention I tipped $15 on multiple occasions only to still get second rate service. If you are not latino go here at your own risk.

Went here multiple times over the course of a year because I loved their haircuts, eventually I realized only 3 out of the 7 workers here were good at fades(my go to haircut). It became a hit or miss getting a good hair cut after awhile since they wont let you pick who cuts your hair. Some of the guys here would never cut my hair even if they were available. Beware of the ladies in the back, they are stylist not barbers but will still cut your hair if you let them. If you want a real hair cut get it done by a certified barber. The last straw I had was when I came in on a busy night and had been waiting for over 40 mins to get a hair cut. Two guys walked in 20 mins after I had arrived but when the next two seats were open they decided to take them first. So I sat and waited another 20 mins to get a spot.. after that I was done.

Best haircut for your dollar in Mount Pleasant. Walk-ins are welcome, and there is not usually a long wait.
