Horrible experience, probably the worst we have had at any dealer. Service person tried to tell us the problem was not a problem, working as designed. We drove (3) other cars (1 at that dealer), all the same year, make and model (2021 Ford Explorer Limited). None of the 3 had this PROBLEM. When you put the car into Reverse from Drive, the car should go into reverse rather quickly, you should not have sit and wait for several seconds (while the car is rolling at times) waiting on it to move into Reverse. I could not believe the service department tried to convince us this was working as designed. I will NOT be back and will NOT recommend this dealer to anyone else.**** 10/1/2021 UPDATE **** Customer service is not dead. Less than a day after posting this review, the Service Manager called and asked me to bring the car back so they could take another look at the issue and try to resolve it. Not fixed yet, but great to see that they are willing to try to resolve the issue and reacted so quickly.

I have no complaints about the actual service, but be aware they allow you to book appointments on their service site for Quick Lane. I booked an appointment, got a text confirmation and showed up early. When I arrived, the gentleman told me that they dont do appointments. It was first come first served, it would be a 2 hour wait. I showed him my text confirmation for my appointment and asked, if you dont do appointments why do they allow you to book one? he couldnt answer the question. He did honor my appointment but made it a point to tell me (out loud in front of other customers) hed have to push someone else (that was already waiting with no appointment) back so they could work me in. Its not really business like to offer the appointments if you dont take appointments.

On 7/27 I contacted Megan at crossroads ford about service I needed done on my car. She told me to have it towed in and they would get to it in 3 weeks. I said fine & had it towed in on 7/28 and waited for almost 3 1/2 weeks before I contacted them thinking it may have taken a couple of days longer than I was told. When I did reach out to them (on August 19th) they had no record of my vehicle. I had to go there myself the next day WITH THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER to look for my vehicle. They towed it off mistakenly & admittedly . They just found it almost 7 weeks later. HOWEVER after bringing it back they are now telling me it has damage that only a body shop can fix. This WASNOT THE CASE initially. Initially it was a transmission issue/recall. I can’t believe this is happening. This is just all so stunning. They are refusing to help after towing my car twice & Losing it. I’ve cintacted BBB and WRAL On your side.

A very strange thing happened to my wife and I this morning. Roger Wells, sales consultant, greeted us and presented us with the perfect vehicle for my wife. The car was perfect! But we thought we would think it over first. As we were leaving, Dimitri (I think that is his name) approached us, and asked if he could put together a package for us that might convince us to buy now. (Believe me, we were ready), Just give us something good and we were driving out of there with a $34,000 Ford. So we waited, and waited and chatted with Roger for at least 20-30 minutes. After waiting so long, we asked Roger to check on Dimitri. Guess what? Dimitri had forgotten all about us. Im sure it wasnt intentional. But I feel bad for Roger who lost out on a very nice commission. Because we will buy that car from a different Ford dealer.

Had a terrible experience getting my truck serviced at this location. First of all I made an appointment to have a recall fixed on my vehicle. When I did speak to a technician on the phone when setting up my appointment, they were helpful. They were able to look up if the recall was still under warranty but that they would have to run a diagnostic before performing any work, which I was fine with.I had my appointment set for a Thursday at 8am and went to drop off early at 7:30 because I had to be at work . I waited until early afternoon and did not receive an update about the diagnostic, so I called them. Was told over the phone that they had not even looked at my vehicle yet. I dont understand the point of setting up an appointment if they were not going to do service until late that day. Received a call from them late afternoon/early evening. They told me that my issue was under warranty for the recall but that they would have to order the part and it would be ready by the following Monday.Monday comes and did not receive a call from them all day. I called in the afternoon and was told the part arrived but they had not fixed it yet and it would not be ready until the following day. Tuesday comes and again, I did not receive a call until early afternoon that it was ready to be picked up.Extremely dissatisfied with the service, professionalism and lack of customer service. I set up an appointment for a reason and did not just walk in for service. Again, I dont see the point of making an appointment if they are not going to service it until hours after the appointment. I received no updates about the status of my vehicle or the service that I needed done until I made the call myself. I recommend anyone that needs servicing to look elsewhere.

My girlfriend purchased a 2016 Ford Focus back in October 2020. Just a few weeks ago, the transmission broke down (common in Ford’s) but the dealership was practically useless as far as helping with the situation. When she purchased her new car, she got a call from the bank saying she owed $700 more mysteriously. 10/10 would not recommend doing business. Super shady, very unprofessional, very unhelpful.

With the semiconductor shortage, many electronic parts are hard to come by in this market... Danny worked hard to source my part, got it installed, and the truck back faster than expected. I took my Explorer in on 8/5. A day or so later was I notified the problem had been identified however the part was on National back order. I never received an update after that unless I called to get it. I was told more than once “I wish I knew when the part would be here because I would know when I was getting paid”. On one occasion I was told the part should be there in a week so after two weeks I called and still no part. Finally on Friday, September 10th I called and asked for a manager. I spoke to Andy-who was awesome. He was extremely apologetic for the experience I had been having and assured me he would get to the bottom of it. 10mins later he called me back with an update. On Monday I received a call from him letting me know the parts were in and on Tuesday he called to let me know it was ready. Andy is the reason for the 3 star rating. Had I dealt with him all along, I’m sure my rating would be higher.

The people were polite and friendly. The wait time for The Works oil change service was a little longer (2 Hours) than I expected. Didnt seem to be that many customers in waiting area, but all bays were full. I believe Quick Lane service area was doing more work that would normally be handled by dealer service dept.

So from the beginning of our process I had some hesitation and now I know why. This was not my 1st time buying a vehicle but it was the first purchase with my husband. We went in wanting one car and of course they didnt have what we wanted. On our way out they offer us another car with a discounted price. The car is absolutely amazing but my experience turned horrible after we left the dealership. They took a week to get my actual car ready saying they were fixing a recall and according to my app that has not been fixed 🤔. An App they insisted I download for all of the features. So if they fixed the recall it wasnt put into the system. Once we got the car I asked for a physical copy of our loan because after we signed all of the documents they supplied us with a flash drive and once I put the flash drive into my laptop to download the loan papers it disappeared. I called to the dealership and no one returned my call after me waiting for 3 days so I took a trip there to request the papers. I was told by the finance manager that he would have the papers overnighted to our home which never happened. I finally got an email about 1 week later with the loan papers. We were also promised all weather mats by the salesman and that never happened. While I absolutely LOVE my new vehicle I will NEVER go back to see them nor recommend them to anyone!!

Excellent experience! I was nervous because normally dealerships tend to have overpriced service departments but it was completely reasonable. The service associate Danny was completely helpful and not pushy. I felt completely comfortable waiting with my young daughter while my car was serviced. Definitely going there for routine maintenance on my Ford Escape.

Very good experience.Mike Kramer was everything I could ask for as a sales agent. He was helpful with insights about the vehicle, was not sales agressive but let the conversation flow as I learned more about the Crossroads sales process. The financial guy (whose name I forget, but not his British accent!) was extremely easy to work with, having all the documents needing my signature electronicallly under glass and ready to go.

Purchased a Ford Explorer from this location on Friday September 3rd and traded in my Ford Fusion.The salesman that the team put me with seemed like he is in the wrong business. He was not personable at all and did not make me feel confident in my purchase. After speaking with my husband we decided to move forward with the purchase anyway because used vehicles are hard to come by right now.Here we are 2 weeks later and I receive a message from my previous lender that my payment is due. Odd since they should have paid this off right? Well I’ve been trying to reach someone in finance for the past week and no one can seem to answer the phone to give me any explanation. A salesman Cory just answered the phone laughing…. I wasn’t aware that not paying off someone’s trade in was funny.Decided to look more into my new loan and documents and noticed that Ford charged me $10,000 more than the car was worth in add ons. I was under the impression this was the price before my down payment and discounts. I should have known something was off when they kept trying to price the car higher than it they were asking for online. I was preapproved for $500 monthly payment so no wonder they couldn’t get it below $700 once they added another $10,000 to the loan.All it took was a little browsing through the reviews and it seems like this is a typical practice here at Crossroads Ford to tack on thousands of dollars in add ons.Update: 10 business days later trying to reach finance with no response but Ford had no issues calling me multiple times a day and picking up when I was inquiring about buying the car. Do not shop with this dealership. Shady business practice at its best.

We’ve always had a good experience here. We are a little frustrated by having to go in 3 times on Friday for an oil change and state inspection. We got there at 8 and were asked to come back at 1 and then at 1 they did the oil change but forgot to do the inspection so we had to go back a 3rd time! Super frustrating because it took all day however we’ve never had issues before and hope that it was just random. The people who work there are nice and friendly!

Had a great experience with Marc Anthony, after a few dealers couldn’t get me the truck I wanted he got me squared away in no time. My only issue was the finance department, they tried to change the price of the truck, then didn’t calculate my trade in taxes so I ended up $800 out of pocket. Overall I love my new truck and Marc was outstanding, as was the sales manager, but their finance department needs some work.

I was extremely let down by my service appointment here at Crossroads Ford of Wake Forest. I have a Mustang with a well known and oft reported backup camera issue. This issue is widely reported and there are many publically available videos on this issue, including on Youtube. There is nothing wrong with the Camera itself when its functioning. The issue is it sporadically doesnt work. I was told I had to replace the entire camera for over $700 for a camera which works.When asked about what the diagnostic was I was told that the Camera was taken apart and I actually didnt believe that description either.Ive never posted a negative google review before Crossroads. Congratulations!

I can not say more about the service center at Wake Forest. I had taken my car to the Cary, now Apex location, and literally had the worst experience of my life. When my AC went out I could feel my anxiety increasing because I didn’t want to deal with them again. I tried calling and reaching out to the Apex center and literally could not get anyone to call me back. My husband drove up to Wake Forest and the manager got me in within a few days. I was called each day with an update and in two days I was able to pick my car up. Compared to the 7 weeks without my car and nobody communicating with me in Cary/Appex. Someone from Wake Forest needs to train the other dealership/service center on customer service. Thank you so much Wake Forest for actually caring about your customers!!!

The team at Cross Road Ford in wake forest is the best. I worked with Hannah over email. She was amazing. Responded to every one of my questions and I had plenty. I wanted a truck that was strong enough to tow my camper. I wanted a reasonable price. But I wanted a lot of perks in it. I also wanted not to pay any money down either. We bought our F150 on 01/02/2021 sat. I would like to say Chris Rhine was our sales person and he did a great job of getting the trucks together for us to test drive etc.. I would go back to him again. Everyone at the dealership was very nice. BUT when you go to the finance department PLEASE be sure to read everything carefully and check to see if you have been charged for a power train warranty . We missed this on the paperwork and it was not disclosed. The issue is resolved now. We do love our Truck and feel the price was competitive based on our research we did before going.

Ahmed was a great sales guy to work with while buying a car for our daughter! He met with us earlier in the week to test drive and was not pushy at all. He gave us space to browse. Mgmt was helpful and located several vehicles to match our needs. They even gave us the negatives of each car we were considering - they wanted to be sure we knew what we were buying. We came back on Saturday to buy the car and Ahmed was quick and efficient in getting paperwork done and the car ready. The whole process was easy and we would definitely recommend Crossroads Ford and we would absolutely want Ahmed to help us again!!

The purchase of our new Ford F-150 went well once we agreed on a sales price. However after the sale their support is horrible! The vehicle we purchased was a service loaner. Once we got it home and started exploring the details, we realized the jack, lug wrench, and tie down supports were not in the truck. We have made numerous phone calls to the salesman, Roger, emails to the F/I man, Jack Smith that handled the paperwork, multiple texts and absolutely NO RESPONSE!!! They will quickly close the deal but you can forget about service after the sale!! We DO NOT RECOMMEND CROSSROADS FORD OF WAKE FOREST!!

Needed to pick up a battery for my 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid. I had called the Quick Lane Department earlier that day and was told yes, they have them and yes, I can come pick one up. Seemed pretty straightforward. The service representative may have been having an off day, Im not sure. He wanted to write me up for a service visit; I communicated multiple times I was there only to pick up a batter. He stated there would be a core charge since I didnt have a battery to turn in and that it would be better if I brought my car in. I told him the reason I was there was I needed a batter as my car wouldnt start, and I was okay with the charge as Id bring it back at a later time. Then he wanted to know what dealership I came from. Not sure of what importance this was, but I didnt come from any dealership. It appeared to me that I needed to take my business elsewhere. If he was new, I would much preferred to have been told this and he ask for assistance than to fumble through the process and make it appear it was I that didnt know what I was doing.

Last week my F-150 needed a recall service to re-flash the transmission, and while getting serviced the tech found that I also had a misfire, so they promptly checked plugs, wires, and injectors, found the issue and had the truck ready to go in just a few hours. Picked it up, transmission was shifting smoothly again and the misfire was taken care of. Fast forward two days...after fishing all day about an hour away, my key would not start my vehicle and I was stranded at the boat ramp, boat in the water, unable to start the truck. (The issue was my old key died, but we didnt know that yet.) I contacted Megan in the service department 15 minutes before they were set to go home that Saturday and explained my situation. Not sure why the PATS system was activated and knowing it needed to be addressed at the service center, Megan and the service team had a tow truck at the boat ramp within 30 minutes, loaded my truck, hooked up to my trailer, backed the trailer in and loaded the boat, and then towed my entire rig back to Wake Forest. Megan was available by phone far after the scheduled 4pm leave time to confirm I was picked up and we were en route. Upon arriving at Crossroads, she had an Expedition loaner waiting on me so that I could get my boat home that evening. The coordinated efforts of the Megan, the service team, and the sales guys had me on my way home from the dealership by 5pm and I was actually early for a big family dinner that night. Long review, but I had to articulate how fantastically well I was taken care of in a crazy situation. Cant thank them enough for the quality work on my truck, but the over the top care I received last weekend!

Just bought my first car here and my experience was phenomenal! Sean and Ahmed were the greatest helps and never made me feel pressured to buy. Both worked hard to make sure I got the best deal possible. Overall the whole dealership was friendly and very welcoming. Would highly recommend this dealership if you’re looking to purchase a new vehicle.

Dont waste your breath, time, money, and credit like I did. I have a nice, new Expedition to remind me of that. Initially, I was happy to have a sales person that took note of what we were looking for and my specific requests, like only wanting to go through a bank we already had a relationship with and NOT doing a bunch of credit pulls. I even appreciated the negotiation that ended with me signing that I would purchase if the payment was under a certain amount AND I didnt have to put any money down.Unfortunately, the reality is that after four hours at the dealership with my wife and four children, the finance department either didnt get the information or completely disregarded it. I was a bit blind-sided when I started signing things and discovered that the payment was over the amount agreed, and then couldnt get it down without a down payment. Strike one and two. It wasnt until four days later I received a text from a lender that was not the one I said I wanted to do business with that the rest of the incompetence came to light. I asked if I would be receiving a digital copy of my signed documents, because I didnt have a copy, but apparently we were supposed to have been given a USB drive, and never received one, strike three.I got a call from a GM to discuss the issues, and he agreed to refund my down payment to make things right, but gave me attitude when I criticized the deception and extra impact that the lender choice makes for me and my family. It is clear that despite my request not to do a bunch of credit pulls that they had done at least two, but would not confirm how many more were done. Then, the GM had the audacity to claim, I guarantee that it wont affect your credit score that much. However, when pressed to put his money where his mouth was he relented, and asked if the only thing I wanted was the loan to be with my lender of choice, to which the answer was an obvious, Yes.That all went down five days ago and I havent heard a word since. So, Im going to submit this review since they were so adamant that five stars was critical to them, but apparently my breath, time, money, and credit arent worth the stars.

I bought a pre-owned certified 2016 Ford Escape from Crossroads Wake Forest in March. Check engine light came on a short time later, even though I bought pre certified, and with the extra warranty, it was a $100 out of pocket. Go pick it up and was charged the full amount, and once I got home and noticed the charge to my bank account, had to go back to get refunded. Now, once again, this vehicle and the service department have let me down. I called the service department this morning because of a rotten egg smell while driving. Service department said its probably not the catalitic? Converter, as Google said, and I could bring it by and drop it off for a few days until they could get to it. That works? Because my job is good with me not coming in for a few days whatever! Then, not two hours later, the vehicle wont start, turn over, nothing, and I am getting it towed to them today, because they dont have a tow truck, oh, and no loaner, even with the extended warranty I pay for. Called back to let them know the tow truck might not get there before they close, service guy said, its ok, we probably wont get to it until next week. I swear on my everything, I wish I had never walked in this dealership. Nothing but issues from the very beginning when I went to purchase it until right up to this very moment.

Well... your typical automobile buying experience.Let me start by saying that the inventory selection was limited.First of all, the dealership would NOT accept my A-Plan discount. (1st time thats happened to me)Then salesman hits you with the tick tack toe squares of numbers which are meaningless most of the time and they assume your going to put MORE money down with a random number they came up with ($1750?)Anyway, I agreed to a price and was going to drive it home that day. I opted out of the detailing because it was raining, however I feel they could of done better by making sure I had all of the additional equipment that came with the vehicle (manuals and things) when I left that day.I did get what I thought was everything 2 days later until I read the manual. I sent the salesman a text that I was missing the security code for the keys in case I loose them and NO REPLY... I suppose after spending $82500 and the 3 day window has gone by, theres no reason to talk to you!!!!

Got a certified pre owned here back in March, I’ve barely been able to drive it due to transmission issues. I’ve taken it in 3 times for the same problem. Nothing mechanical was disclosed about the vehicle and it seemed fine on the test drive and a week after it being home I noticed an issue with the transmission. I’ve had the car for almost 3 months and it’s been in and out of the service department for 2 of them. Not happy with my vehicle. Only has 47k on it too

Had a great experience at Crossroads Ford of WF. I dont like pushy salespeople or sales managers. I worked with Ahmed Arafat and it was a pleasure. Ahmed listened and was helpful. I didnt buy a vehicle until the third visit. He and the sales manager were patient and didnt push when I said that I wasnt ready to buy. After the sale, Ahmed took the time to walk me through the configuration of the Ford Pass app on my phone. Definitely recommend Ahmed and Crossroads of WF.

I’ve been in a difficult situation personally and was having trouble with my car and was told I couldn’t get in till 22 March. I visited a few weeks ago to test drive a rather pricey luxury vehicle in their used inventory. I was told in order to test drive a used vehicle you have to be willing to buy it first, doesnt that sort of defeat the purpose of a test drive to begin with? Theyre instructing that you have to be willing and/or able to buy a product before you test it! Doesnt make much sense to me either. Anywho, theyve officially lost any future business from myself. Typical dealer attitudes I suppose?

They have come through again... I have nothing but positive comments for this company. Regardless of the vehicle, they have always taken care of me. Most recently, i purchased a F250 Super Duty from them, from the sales team to the service team, they have always been open, honest, and very good about their word.Ive had some recent issues with the door freezing during the winter, and they gladly took it for me, provided me with a loaner, and was open with me regarding the issue. Just today, they took the liberity of ensuring my brakes and rotors were fully replaced and covered. This Quick Lane would have gotten a higher review if the service techs put plastic on the seats and steered my wheel when taking your car in the bay. I did like the fact that you could wait in your vehicle until they are ready to move into the bay for service. The wait times are ridiculous. Almost 3 hours for an oil change. And they didn’t seem that busy. If they speed up the process and put plastic on seats and steering wheel this would be 5 stars.
