My experience was great from my online inquiry of the vehicle I wanted to the delivery. Shortly after submitting my info I got an acknowledgement email. I was at the dealership at 9am at 9:05 I got a call from their online rep while I was with our salesman. Our salesman was awesome as was the sales manager and F & I manager. At no time was I pressured or talked into buying something I did not want. I had a unusual circumstance but the folks at Westgate Kia were able to make it happen. Thank you !

FYI to military veterans. I am an Army Veteran and Military Spouse. When I inquired about the military discount incentive, I was told by the salesperson that it ONLY applies to retired veterans who served 20 years in the military. Would you please update your website to reflect this information? I have purchased many cars with nine years of military service and have never encountered this requirement.

Went in to have my 2016 Kia Forte serviced. They changed my oil and filter, done an inspection and rotated my tires in a very timely manner. Overall the Techs and the service were done in a professional manner. Would recommend this dealership and their services to the highest. Very satisfied.

First time I have used them for my car although it is a 2013 but I decided to give them a chance, I dropped in to get a price quote for rotors and brakes and was met by Josh who introduced himself and explained the pricing structure and timeframe . He checked to make sure they were available to take me today . They were AMAZING I had a bit of a wait but I was advised at different times how it was going . My last experience was a great experience. josh was my service tech and he went above and beyond to fix my car. I initially dropped it off to have it checked for a clicking noise i was experiencing and when i called josh told me he think what i was describing g was covered under warranty but went to say however if it’s not there would be a diagnostic fee and we could goFrom There. I dropped it off and i got a call around noon stating it was fixed … I’m like wow that was quick had i known i would have added that my car needed an aliment and josh stated oh i can get that done before you pick up and he did just that . Listen up folks! Westgate Kia is my go-to for quality car service and new car purchasing. I moved to Raleigh from Wilmington (via Texas)back in 2015, and have been with Westgate ever since. They have cared for my 2013 Kia Soul, and now my 2020 Soul X-Line (which I purchased from them). Gonzalo Tomas and the rest of the service department are top-notch, and *consistently* so. My favorite thing about them is that they are always right up front and honest about their practices, what I need to do to keep my vehicles driving, and willing to admit when their prices get beat elsewhere (which is rare). Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and personable. TK originally was helping my mom and when he had another customer come in, instead of trying to divide his time between us, had Dijon come over and help us. So we appreciated the honesty!Everyone there was understanding and not pushy at all and they really went above and beyond. They made what is usually an anxiety-inducing and stressful process a breeze and whatever questions we had, they never once acted annoyed or like we were a bother.We weren’t sure at first if we were going with Kia and went across the street to the Hyundai dealer. I had several recalls on my Kia. I had a very difficult time ever getting through to a live person to schedule the service. After leaving several messages with no response, I finally persisted, spoke to a live person and got it scheduled. The day of my service appointment, I was sent a link to check on the status of my vehicle. All day the status remained at one of the lowest levels of progress. I finally had to call to find out if it would be finished that day, as promised. I was told the technician was finishing up then. When I picked up my vehicle, I was told one recall couldnt be completed because they had to order a part...the part should arrive in a day or two and they would call me to arrange a time to complete the final recall. That was weeks ago and I still have not heard from them.

Run from this dealer as fast as you can. They pitch free oil changes for life but what they dishonestly dont tell you during the sales cycle is that you have do do all scheduled maintenance through them. They also force you to go on the schedule for extreme conditions which doubles the maintenance cycle. They do have a form that explains about the scheduled maintenance but its buried in the pile of papers you need to sign at purchase closing and they go past it very quickly. Totally unethical and dishonest.

I had the most amazing experience here. Car dealerships are generally dreaded but Melvin was painfully honest and ethical. I came in with unrealistic expectations and he broke things down to me in laymen’s terms so I could understand my options realistically. The finance manager Ramon was also very helpful and got me a better deal than the pre-approved offer I entered with although I was reluctant to consider other finance companies. Even the initial text interaction with Season was pleasant and there was no pressure to come in right away when I explained my schedule was very tight. Overall everyone was respectful of my time and honest which is critical. I plan to return and purchase my other vehicles from here. I should also mention I drove from Chapel Hill passing several other Kia dealerships but this is now my one of choice. Absolutely no regrets!

I purchased my car July 2. I called the finance department 4 times to find out when my trade in would be paid off. No one called me. I called again spoke to Someone who said the check was mailed on the 8th. Seriously it’s the 26 still not paid off. He said it’s ok it won’t go on your credit. REALLY! It’s not his credit. I need my loan to be paid!!! Is this how this dealer does business. Wow not the best.

These folks really need to up their game a bit. When I arrived, as I was going over concerns on my 2021 Kia k5, I asked the advisor to have 2 lbs of air put in the tires as they were low, and to check for leaks as they seemed to be losing air. Keep in mind this is a brand new car, so losing air wasnt expected to happen each week. This is when the advisor wanted to argue with me and tell me the techs would add air to specs, which is not what I asked for. Next item was that the engine has a miss fire. Again, brand new car. Service advisor started to argue again saying they couldnt look at that issue as they didnt have a tech. I advised I didnt expect to get it FIXED on a Saturday, but the gentleman that made the service appointment for me stated they could at least diagnose the problem. I even showed the advisor the text confirmation which turned out to be from the Service Director. After 10 minutes of arguing, I had to just throw my hands up and move on. So, with that being said it seems someone doesnt know what they can or cant fix and when. So after an hour and a half, they didnt diagnose the skip, they didnt add air in the tires, and for some odd reason they were in my trunk, as they didnt replace the cover. Glad I didnt have anything in there worth anything, as they had no reason to be in the trunk.

I went there today to test drive 1 or 2 of the Kias that I had did a little research on. I met a wonderful sales person named Anthony. Now, why I gave it 3 stars. I wasnt able to take it home and test drive it, put on the highway, see what it would do because I wasnt making a purchase within the next week or so. As a consumer I want to test drive when about to spend 20 to $30000 on I dont want to just ride it around town and then go drop that type of money on a vehicle that I have not Test Driven to see if I like it. 1st let’s start with Dakota. She noticed online that I was inquiring about a certain 2019 car. She called and we discussed the particulars of the vehicle. When asked why the car was traded in being that it was so new, she even researched and explained why. I said I would get back to her within a week or two. She didn’t hassle me to come in or high pressure me regarding buying the car. A few days before going into the dealership Dakota called me to inform me that the car we inquired about was sold. She did however inform me that the same vehicle was available with in a different color and with less mileage. She didn’t have to call me at all to inform me, but she did. Which I thought was wonderful. We set an appointment date to reserve the car for my wife and I to test drive.This is where Gage the salesperson comes in. Calm collective and knowledgeable he’s the perfect salesperson. During the test drive and afterwards sitting down to discuss the car, it felt like we were sitting down talking with an old friend. We talked less about the car and more about everything else. He explained everything in detail without the usual salesman circus theatrical flare. The next thing you know we’re off to sign documents.This is where Tommy in finance comes in. While we were interacting with Gage, Tommy came out with a warm greeting and friendly smile to explain certain things to us. Even coming back and giving us better options each time. He got my wife the best deal with the lowest interest rate and she was very happy! He even gave her additional input and knowledge while discussing the terms.In less than 2 ½ hours we arrived and drove off the dealership in our 2019 Mini Cooper Countryman!!!This is by far the Best encounter we’ve ever had at any dealership!!!Robert Watson & Sheila Williams

I never felt pressured... they simply asked me what was important to me and came back with creative and attractive offers. This team, led by Heather, was truly fantastic to work with. Each time Heather clearly explained what was going and if she said “this is what we’re doing”... that is exactly what happened. Morgan is superbly knowledgeable about cars and Kevin was without doubt the most friendly finance person I’ve ever worked with. This team really knows how to take care of a customer.(July 2019) This dealer has gone through a long of changes in the last couple years, including a full ownership and name change. People are generally helpful and pleasant to work with.
