I came here all of last year and normally had great experiences. But yesterday I went in and my nail tech refused to do an ombré because he said he couldn’t, and then he did a french tip. the tip went all the way down to the bottom of my nail, i have never seen something so ugly in my life. the nails also feelextremely bumpy. when i told the manager that i didn’t like it she said he could redo them- obviously i didn’t want him though- and she basically shrugged her shoulders and told me too bad. terrible service. i do not reccomend

I visited this location and have been going back ever since! I love the environment, the music, the wine/ margaritas, and the workers. They are friendly and make it so homey and comfy. Love this place and my new nail salon!

The establishment was very nice. But my nail tech was very slow and the nail job was that of a beginner. I can see through my paint on a few of my nails and one is bubbly. I paid $50 for the service, I’m not one to make a big deal out of things but if I ever come back I’ll request a different nail tech.

Took my niece to get her nails as a belated bday present. I didnt get to see them before she left the salon because i was getting my pedicure. When she sent me the pic of her nails i was so disappointed because she asked for powder and her nail tech did gel instead. Sunny didnt do a good job at all. Had i known this is how they turned out, i wouldnt have left him a $10 tip. Only reason i am giving 2 stars instead of one is because Rochelle tried to make it right by trying to have her get them re-done. Unfortunately, my niece was so upset by the result that she refused to go back there. Either way.....thank you Rochelle for trying.

I brought my sister for her b-day, and Phillip took great care of us. It’s apparent that the staff really care about their clientele; a professional and fun atmosphere! Will definitely be coming here again next time I swing through Waco.

This is what $65 will get you. Pricing was not fair for the horrible job that was done. They messed my nails up, leaving it streaky. I wasnt upset at all, just fix it. Well, to fix it, all they would do for me was PAINT over the dark color I originally picked, and charged me an additional $20. And as you can see, it obviously turned out great huh? The RECEPTIONIST even told me not to feel bad because they looked so ugly! I wanted them to take them off and start over, and I was told they would still have to charge me but give me 15% off. I have to say, getting hung up on by the owner while I was trying to get it resolved was the cherry on top. Thats not how you take care of clients. I highly recommend ocean nails in Hewitt and skyline nails on Lakeshore. They are clean, friendly and will take good care of you. They arent afraid to lose a couple dollars to make a client happy and to keep them coming back.

NOT what I wanted at all. Tried telling the nail tech to fix the nails but he didn’t. Paid $100 for these & they are nothing like the picture I showed him. They have bumps and to top it off when filing the sides of the nails he cut SEVEN of my fingers which I didn’t noticed till I washed my hands and felt a burning sensation. Don’t recommend coming here for nail sets.

Debbie is great! She was super down to earth, took her time, didn’t make me feel rushed, apologized when she had to be rough or tickle me during the pedicure. She also helped me recognized what I thought was athletes foot that I’ve had for a year is actually eczema. I bought some medicated lotion and the patch has started to clear for the first time in MONTHS! She is awesome.

This by far the best nail salon in Waco! The staff was super polite and attentive! I got a pedicure and dip nails with tips. No one was rushing me or in a hurry to get me done. I felt important and Sunny was excellent about making sure I was happy with my nails and the length. They have an awesome reward card and I have already earned a discount on my next visit. If you want great service and excellent nails, you have to come here!

My experience with solar nails is always great! They take there time with you no rush experience which no one appreciates while getting a pedicure they help you to relax and leave your feet feeling smooth. I would highly recommend solar nails.

I got acrylic nails and they look very nice, however I do feel the lady that did mine couldve been more careful, there are some flaws, the top.coay didnt cover my entire naik because she seemed to be rushing and not paying attention.

Sat with my feet in a tub of water, no jacuzzi, for about 20 minutes. Pedicure felt rushed. Polish was left on my toe, not the nail. As I was cleaning it off, the tech came and started pushing my chair back. I had to tell him to hold on. I will not be returning.

The first time I went there was with my daughter and we both got manicures and pedicures. I thought it was awesome. After only 2 weeks one of my fingernails fell off. I went back to get it fixed and my nails filled (with another pedicure) was charged $85. After only a week this time my pinky nail cracked. This is what was told to me. FYI Im not in production work. I drive for a living, not hard manual labor

When you first walk in there is pretty high fumes since it’s a fairly smaller shop. I love how they have a rewards point system. Everyone was super friendly. I was more obsessed with my full set done by John. I got the elegant pedicure that said it should’ve taken 35 minutes but only took like 20, which I was sad that I didn’t get the whole experience to relax, but I am not those customers who would complain so I will try getting a pedicure with someone else. No worries. The prices are pretty decent compared to one other place I’ve gone to in Waco. Can’t wait to go back! Already recommended this place to friends!

I booked an appointment online for anyone available and paid the deposit. I was told to wait in the waxing room. I waited for 30 minutes and no one ever came. When I left I was told that the online system booked me for someone that doesnt do lashes. I picked anyone available and even so having an appointment someone should have been able to accommodate me. Was told my deposit will be refunded later this evening when they get home. Smh. Terrible

I loved Leo ! He was amazing and very professional and nice ! He even gave me some extra advice and got me into the hot stones and does my massage very nice as well ! The guy painting my nails was kinda rude. You can see sorta where I was bleeding and the redness and how awful my cuticles look. The guy applying the rhinestones had no idea what he was doing he was laughing and messing up. Didnt do them the right way either. Simple rhinestones took about 30 minutes. Wish I could get my money back. GO TO NAILS OF AMERICA RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD. HAS A MUCH BETTER EXPERIENCE THERE. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Im editing my review because I asked other people who get their nails done and I definitely over paid. My nail set is very cute, I got long, coffin shaped nails with 4 of them having encased flowers. However, this is not (in my opinion) worth $100. This was for the set alone, no manicure, cuticle cutting, soak off nothing. When I asked about the price, the women at the front said the gold flakes and other stuff added more, but I didnt ask for any flakes. The set is nice and I would have loved to come back and regularly get new sets from Ivy, but this practice is not how you get repeat customers.

He is like no other...good conversation and he made my day so much better due to me having a bad one.He was very gentle but did get the job done and got my product how I wanted ! Came here for the first time due to being in Waco for the weekend and really needing my nails done. They couldnt do the color I wanted because they didnt have it which is fine so I chose something different. I was seated with a nail tech, then moved to a diff seat a few minutes later and then moved a final time. By the time I got to the third person I had shown a picture of the nails I wanted multiple times and this person was going to do something completely different. This nail tech was extremely rough and I pulled my hands away multiple times because she was hurting me. My nails didnt even come out to the design I wanted but they will do for now. This was a complete waste of my money and I would not recommend them. Literally find anywhere else in Waco.

Today was my first visit (on a Sunday) and I was welcomed with a warm greeting by the owner, Phillip. I got a pedicure by Michael. He was gentle removing my cuticles and my massage was relaxing. Phillip did my ‘dipped nails’ - He handled me with care because I had concerns about my nail beds. I had enjoyable conversations with Maria D. while she did my daughter’s nail. The facility was neat and clean. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. They have complimentary drinks.I recommend Solar Nails. I was very satisfied.

Went to get French tip nails done and I thought he would do a good job considering the nice photosonline, However that was not the case.He applied the nail way to low so I doesn’t look like French.My biggest issue is that is work wasn’t clean and he left the two globs of the powder that hardens and shapes the nails underneath the nail so you can clearly see it.He didn’t even do one final view at his work to correct his error.He was the most unprofessional nail tech I have ever had and the only reason i am giving it two stars is because the receptionist was helpful and kind.The work on google must’ve been their good days because he really needs more training on being cleaner with his work.Mine was the skinny guy who was very unprofessional and not pleasant AT ALL.I would recommend going to another shop if you don’t want to leave feeling disrespected and unsatisfied.

My personal opinion the value of what you pay for what you receive isn’t that great.I went to check out the cc machine went down. The first girl charged me $65. I think I was getting a discount for getting two services. This other gentleman came to fix the cc machine and I was charged $71.00 . They also charge you $1.00 for using a card. That’s ridiculous in this age.The gentleman that did my nails did a good job. Like I said I think their services are overpriced. It took them Over 2 hours

Best gel manicure in the city! Not only do they do a great job putting it on, they use high quality remover which has helped preserve my nails so that they can grow longer. Everyone is very nice. Make an appointment or call on your way in because they fill up fast!

Eyelashes by Jackie...awesome! So i decided to give eyelash extensions a second try after a horrible initial experience. I was getting my nails done and thought $35, what the heck, Ill give them a second chance and OMG, Im so glad I did! They look AMAZING!!! Jackie was professional, efficient and personable. It took just 40 minutes! I got the shortest length, clusters,really full and they are just perfect!!! If you are a eyelash extension newbie and are hesitant to give it a try, go see Jackie, you will not be disappointed. Great job Jackie!!

I got my nails done for the first time ever, and I decided to go to solar nails. I was really nervous since this was all new to me but overall I really enjoyed the experience. Alex did a wonderful job and made sure to double check that both the color and length were of my liking, which I greatly appreciated, because I ended up changing the original color I had picked to a more nude color. ☺️

I went here for a fill and because I was looking for a permanent nail salon. I signed in at 11:57am and left at 2:06pm (i was seated immediately and didn’t have to wait at all). I guess that the woman that did my nails was a beginner because she was really, really slow. However, I went to a professional salon for a reason. To receive quality service in an appropriate amount of time. I told the woman at the checkout the my service took too long. I even verified the time I checked in on the sign in sheet. She just laughed it off, agreed with me, and sent me on my way. I guess I should have asked to speak with a manager.

Solar nails always gives me a great pedicure or manicure. I usually go in and get a full set of gel, and no matter how busy they are I never wait long. The service is good, and none of the nail polishes are ever old or tacky. I would recommend the Pearl pedicure, the atmosphere is also really relaxing too! I would highly recommend! Kim is so nice!!! 💖🌈😁

Love love love this place. Went for the first time today after reading other google reviews. My nails / cuticles were a mess. Manicure was long overdue. Not sure how to spell her name but it was pronounced noon - she is very particular like me! She really did a great job cleaning me up and shaped my nails perfectly. Ill be back for sure.

This is by far the best place I have gone for nails and toes. You go, you get treated so well. They know how to keep you coming back, by treating you well, and with care. Not a place to go when youre in a rush. But if you want to be pampered, this is the place!

I booked an appointment For 2 pedicures for me and my boyfriend. They set us both up And then after a few minutes someone came by and started mine halfway through no one came to do my boyfriends so I asked the guy if someone was going to come and he just kinda mumbled and said yes. Eventually he finished and no one ever came. Employees just kept walking by and not acknowledging. I was clearly upset and said something but they didn’t care. Super unprofessional salon.

My coworker introduced this place to me. Its absolutely amazing. The ladies are all so sweet. And did a fabulous job on my nails. The other thing I LOVE is that they experiment with colors! Overall I had a pleasant experience here. Definitely coming back!

Weve always had fabulous service here! All techs are so sweet and have even remembered me from time to time. Im only here every 2 to 3 months. They do get very busy so if youre in a hurry make sure you have an appointment.

The technician M Was horrible I told him there was a hair in my gel polish and he painted over it. I ask him if he can make the polish the white tips thinner and he ignored me needless to say I won’t be going there anymore
