This gym is open 24 hours. Its clean and well kept. I like all the options of workout equipment. As a Planet Fitness + member you have access to the Hydrotherapy beds, tanning, massage chairs, and total body enhancement machine. The staff is nice and will help you with any questions that you have.

I had an absolutely great experience at this location. I recently(as of 1 week ago)moved to Waco from Wisconsin. I thought I had canceled my membership about a month ago and noticed this morning that the annual fee came out of my bank account. I contacted the gym I normally went to in WI and they were rude and not helpful whatsoever. I went into this location and the person at the front desk named Ashleigh was beyond helpful and did everything she possibly could to help my situation. She ended up calling several locations in WI because we ran into a handful of issues but throughout the ENTIRE time she was very kind, genuine and made sure I left with nothing but satisfaction and a positive resolution to my situation. She even walked through the cancelation process over the phone(with their managers approval), a new employee at a location in WI. Overall, Ashleigh spent roughly 30-40 minutes of her time with me to get my issue resolved to the best of her ability and gave the best customer service Ive had at ANY Planet Fitness location Ive ever been to....which is more than 2 handfuls throughout 3 different states. Thank you Ashleigh for all of your help and I hope you are commended for the excellent customer service I received today! 😃

Planet Fitness has become my home away from home in Waco. Very clean and well attended by the staff. Love the vibe of the club, especially London, who makes me feel like Im welcome in his home. Hes so encouraging, always up and chipper. Ashleigh has also been a big help to me. Thanks PF Waco!

Planet Fitness isn’t for serious lifters or even athletes who, like me, are maybe a few years (full disclosure: decades) past their prime. They don’t have places to bench press other than Smith machines. Dumb bells only go up to 75 pounds and the machines are too few and designed for people who eat more curly fries than do curls.If you are looking for a place to get back into marginally decent shape, PF might be a good place to start, but if you still can move some real metal, go elsewhere. I will. Soon.

I keep getting prompted to comment on Planet Fitness. This time round, Ill say Im glad those in charge finally pulled their collective heads out and removed their requirement to suffocate in a mask while running on a treadmill. The science has been all over the map for the past year. Yet one consistent claim has been that healthy adults arent likely to contract the virus and that if they do, the odds they get sick and die are incredibly remote. Meanwhile deaths on the road in the U.S. are in the tens of thousands. Yet were not outlawing driving.

The atmosphere is great here. No pressure. No horseplaying. TV & music help!

All equipments are really good but men’s showers need some extra cleaning.

Easy check in. Plenty of equipment. Friendly staff. Comfortable areas and spaced well.

They have a bunch of hidden fees they don’t tell you anything about, also you have to stop your WHOLE life just to talk to someone like this is 1990. Better off paying for a personal trainer atleast they tell you it will cost all your arms and legs up front instead of being sneaky with these “ annual“ fees. Would give half a star if i could!!!!!!!

I like how clean the gym is. However, it was very warm in there today from the moment I walked in. Maybe it was just the weather heating up outside but it was still warm inside.

I especially like using Corey as my personal trainer.He has tailor made me a workout program to help me reach my goals and is very helpful in showing me all the proper techniques on all the equipment in the gym. He keeps me motivated day in and day out.He is very positive and knowledgeable with no judgements.I highly recommend signing up for his classes to anyone.

Staff is really nice and keep it super clean. Social distance exercising. Lots of hand sanitizer and disinfectant to wipe down machines. I like it.

Clean, well managed club, with friendly staff and properly maintained equipment. There are trainers to help you with your progress for no extra charge. The red light therapy and tanning machines are the bomb and also are in good working order. I would have given them 5 stars except the cleaning solution they use in the front entryway and the bathroom/changing areas is heavily perfumed, which makes me want to hold my breath as I wish they would use a more earth friendly cleaner without much scent.

This is for the week of fed 12 to current day. We were not allowed to come workout in-between this date and we are still paying for a membership at this location. We wanted to know what this location plans were for reimbursement for the days we werent allowed to come in and workout under these days our membership was and still is valid. Please get back with me as soon as possible.

Everyone is always so friendly. Its definitely a comforting experience. Have a question? They will answer it. Not sure about a piece of equipment? No problem. The staff will gladly show you. Hands down my favorite place to go.

I have a great experience every time I come the cleanliness of the facility is amazing and the atmosphere is exactly what I look for in a gym and Kristina is always such a great help and always has the most positive attitude and makes me feel welcomed.

This is my home gym so I dont have anything to say about it other than I love it and I love the staff.

Manager is rude and poor customer service, she acted as I was putting her out to converse with her regarding an issue. Because of this I cancelled my membership of several years. I was told I would get my annual fee returned. Well that never happened so I called the 800 number and was told that the local manager can and will have to approve reimbursement so they forwarded me to another manager and she refused to reimburse me my annual fee that was just taken out but agreed to reimburse $20 for the previous month of June....half the money. I should have cancelled a long time ago. Ridiculous.

Staff are great. I believe new management arr making good changes.Pros: With Covid, we clean machines before and after, staff also. Masks enforced.Air Conditioned. In winter it’s not too cold to shower.Great Hydromassage Chair.No weight bashing! That’s a BIG PLUS!Cons: Five foot heavy mats to stretch on.No large soft padded mat for stretching.No five pound weights on machines, sometimes a 15 lb. difference.Same music and it’s too loud, same announcements repeated too frequently, same commercials, same TV channels- no Netflix.Showers were slimy and out of toilet paper (early am), back in January, reported it, no change. New help, so that may have changed.

Worse place where cheated to costumer on membership fee.Without authorization, without notification pullout money from account even i never been in fitness since covid 19.

I absolutely love that its a judge free atmosphere and every time I go in I am greeted with a warm welcome. The customer service is outstanding with a group that makes you feel as if they really care about you as an individual. I love that there is a variety of workout machines AND that there are enough that if you have to wait for a machine it doesnt take long. It is also very affordable even for a poor person. I recommend Planet Fitness to all.

Always a good experience. Equipment is clean, plenty of supplies to clean up after using the equipment. Employees are making the rounds cleaning the equipment, door handles, massage chairs and tanning beds.

Love everything about the gym and the staff is awesome the gym is always clean this is one of the best gym in the world.

There is a good variety of equipment and it is well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful.My only suggestion is the music volume needs to be turned down.

If you’re looking for a low cost gym, it’s hard to beat this place. 24/7, great variety of machines, clean showers, and it really isn’t crowded very often. Only thing I wish they had was free weight barbells, but it’s not enough to make me go elsewhere.

I love the staff, they are super friendly, courteous and helpful. My only issue is how long it takes to repair equipment when it breaks down. Aldo, they need to change the darn tanning bed bulbs more often!! Just saying!! Its irritating to get naked, put lotion on, lay there for 12 mins to not even feel warm 😒

Considering this place used to be the old Waco Wal-Mart, it looks great now as Planet Fitness! They also have really good deals for new members!

The whole thing was great! The staff is super friendly and caring, you can tell they actually care about us. Everything was clean and neat and in order where it was supposed to be. Roman always goes above and beyond my expectations. Great place!

I see staff cleaning and sanitizing non stop. It was raining hard and several of us wore a jacket in... The staff made sure that jackets belonged to someone near by and not just left. They were wearing gloves and masks. You could tell their concern for not only their safety but ours as well. They are constantly making sure there is cleaner for equipment, and hand sanitizer,.soap etc. Since some people didnt want to follow the rules so they blocked off the lockers, showers and changing rooms. Im glad I felt bad for the staff that was trying to keep the bathroom sanitized and people didnt have any respect and did what they wanted. I was devastated when the gym closed and got depressed I have been super happy you have reopened. I dont mind the extra rules, as a person with severe asthma Im kinda glad they are in place and the staff is doing such a great job cleaning and sanitizing.

I enjoy this gym from the time I walk in to the time I leave. The staff working the front counter are always nice and friendly and very helpful even if I ask 1000 questions they have patience with me. The workout equipment is maintained very well, as well as the workout areas being clean and neat. I can just zone out and get into my workout and shower and leave.

I am not a huge fan of this location compared to others for a few reasons. Its dirty. The locker room always stinks, and the changing rooms and restroom are never clean. The selection of equipment is good, but it could definitely be better. The staff are great everytime I go though.

I have been a member of Planet Fitness for almost 18 months. Overall, I have been pleased with the facility. It is always clean and the staff is so friendly. I have told my friends about it, and I think its a great gym.

Lots of equipment for everyone. Very clean and staff is very nice. Good prices ! Very casual work out setting. Judgement free zone so it is really open to everyone. I believe you must be at least 13 to use the equipment. Drinks and snacks are for sale at front desk. Lockers available for members. Water fountains are available as well as a seating area with tables and chairs.

Staff are friendly. I always get welcomed in and a ‘have a nice day’ when walking out. Very professional as well. Machines work great as well

This was my first planet fitness, I travel so Im constantly in new places. My first experience was good, Im not new to working out so it wasnt too complicated jumping in and getting to work, I was slightly intimidated at first because I didnt really know where anything was but once I talked myself into looking around it was fairly easy to navigate. Facility was clean, there was a leak from the ceiling in one area but it looked like they were preparing to have that taken care of, and the staff at the desk was friendly. More people at the weight area than I expected, overall it was a nice experience. I plan to go back in the morning before leaving Waco.

Most staff dont seem to remember how to assist you with safe operation of the workout equipment. Have a quick tip sheet laminated in a reference book FYI for each machine. 🙄

When I work out, Im there to get in my work out and go on my way. Its not a showy place to see who can lift more or show off bodies and physique. If Youre looking for a clean gym with the basics for a reasonable price, this is the place. Everyone that works there has been friendly to me.

I was very pleased with this place. I had read some bad reviews and honestly I have no idea why they were even there. It was super clean and I do mean super clean! The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable as well as friendly. And the Black Card Spa is amazing! I could lay on that hydromassage 24/7. And the price of the club is unbeatable!!! I actually look forward to working out everyday. Even though it is work and sweat I find it to be very relaxing and relieves stress. I feel so good afterwards! I love planet fitness because it is affordable and if you don’t go to the gym for awhile you are not losing as much money for paying for a membership here. $10 a month for Membership for yourself or $21.70 a month and you can bring a guest as often as you want without having to paying more. Also you get more benefits with $21.70 a month.

This gym is fairly nice. I was able to go in with a friend and I think the gym doesnt get as much credit as it deserves. The gym is clean, the staff is nice, and they have every machine you could possibly need! I think people should actually give it a chance before placing it under a bad stereotype. The only bad thing was that I wasnt allow to do more with the black card.

Most of the staff is very friendly. The equipment is very well maintained. I feel very comfortable going in there and working out. I just wish that black card members guests could also enjoy the extras.
