This gym is in a different class from any other in Waco. The equipment is hand selected for a wide variety of program types. The space is laid out with care. And best of all, the owners are very present and set a great tone for the community of members. They offer awesome services themselves, and house two other performance related businesses on site.If you are serious about improving your physical function, at any stage of progress, this is the best gym around.

Best gym I’ve ever been to. I went here for over a year while going to school. It has everything you need and a lot of things you’ve never seen. 24 hour access is a plus so for all you night dwellers, you don’t have an excuse. Sandy is an amazing person and very understanding of financial situations. If you’re curious, just go in and check it out. Great people and a great atmosphere create great results. Best of luck to everyone there, it was great. I’ll really miss this place.

The Greatest Gym In all of the land 💪

This gym is a home away from home and Im always recommending this gym to people who want to grow as an athlete or get super strong! From day one, I was welcomed heartily to a family of close knit people who are strong not just in lifting, but in character. I have improved greatly to be the strongest Ive ever been in my entire life! I put in the work while Underground gave me the tools and knowledge to smash PRs safely and in true powerlifting fashion. If you have more specific strength or recovery goals, please talk to Joel Delaney (he and his wife Sandy own this gym) to get some advice. If youre serious about your sport, talk to him about the services offered at this gym. Ive seen people improve greatly through his tutelage.

Great old school gym. The owners are incredibly dedicated. The dues are cheap. The members are educated and always willing to help. Every month theres new equipment. The owners are committed to providing the best and latest equipment in strength training for their members. Ive tried Golds Gym and Golds Gym Express and they are fine as well, but Underground Performance is where you go if youre serious about strength training.

Best gym in Waco for all your powerlifting and strongman needs. I absolutely love this gym. $35/month will get you 24/7 access. Gym itself has all the gear you could ask for. Owner Joel is a phenomenal guy.

Pretty extensive strength training equipment and knowledgeable members. Most equipment is not labelled and things are a bit grungy, but then again, what gym isnt? Member/invite only.

This is a bodybuilder s gym without question! Old school through and through. Lots of props and equipment for strong man training too!
