The gym is nice and clean, with a good assortment of equipment and a three lane pool. I am currently taking physical therapy sessions here and the trainer has been patient, friendly and flexible with my physical limitations. The vibe of the gym is positive and the staff seem genuinely interested in your well-being and answering questions you may have. I believe I’ll not only get the physical therapy necessary for my recovery but will develop a sense of family when visiting and continuing my membership here. Oh, and they have a smoothie bar! :)

I went out of town to this location for a yoga class. The class was very relaxing and the perfect pace for me. The floor also had a lot of unique exercise equipment like tires and agility type equipment that would make a workout more targeted and unique. I would love to come back with my husband who loves exercises like that.

Sales team feels so fake I dread seeing them as i come in every day. They are also the only people that can talk to you about the promotions. And they corner you like a predator every time. Nice gym tho.

Cancelling your membership is not easy. You have to print out a form and MAIL it in. Esporta Fitness makes it difficult on purpose. If you dont cancel you will be charged $50 a month until you do and you cant cancel unless you bill is paid off. A very oppressive membership program.

Very happy to be back in the gym! Not crowded, loved it! LA Fitness is a good fit for me, has been for many years.

Decent location. Weight machines are a bit dated, old models but they are maintained well and have good upkeep. This one is definitely one of the cleaner gyms Ive been to. Overall a solid pick, though it would be nice if they had some newer/more contemporary weight machines.

If you like companies that have people enter private lots to shove their advertising flyers inside the roll-up window of your vehicle, then this is the right gym for you!I found their flyer on the ground next to my vehicle with a good chunk missing. When I looked up, I found the rest of the flyer stuck inside the door panel of my vehicle. Now a piece of their flyer, placed there by a person who trespassed into a private lot, is now stuck inside my car.

Ive been a member of this gym before moving out of state and I absolutely love it. I came back to this gym when I came back to visit for the holidays and this gym is still fantastic. I recommend it! Also, Jason Covarrubias rules.

This is by far the dirtiest LA fitness I have been to! I frequently go to the ones in Poway, Mira Mesa, San Marcos and this one here in vista. All the others are clean and well maintained. This locations locker rooms are filthy, the pool hair hair and mucus floating around... just gross overall! I will he actively avoiding this location of theirs

I mean the gym is all right has all the things you need but it needs maintenance lot of work on the bathrooms some of the work feels like half assets theres hardly any ladies there I just wish they updated the area isnt even when they are ladies hardly any good to look at when you having a good workout you definitely need some fine women get you that blood pumping

I feel like the customer service is particularly bad at this location. I have a single gym membership at another LA fitness. However, I play a league that includes me at the Vista LA fitness. Each time I come in they try to charge me five dollars because I don’t have a multi club membership . Each time I have to prove that I have permission. It just seems to me like they should find out and inform the staff. Also, I don’t understand why they are rude about it. Tonight they told me I was wrong but that they let it go this time. I was not wrong, and once again I proved it to them.

As a long-time past and recently re-enlisted member to the Vista LA Fitness location, I was pleasantly surprised how easy and helpful Charlie and Zack were securing a guest pass for my friend who was visiting from Northern California. Ive belonged to many fitness centers around California (Sacramento, Redding, San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria, LA, Oakland, San Jose, Irvine and Oceanside). Additionally, my past job involved a lot of traveling, so Ive visited many fitness centers across the U.S.The Vista location is great with all options available (racket ball, basketball, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, separate bike rooms for spin classes and a extra large mirrored room for aerobics with a wall of bags for kicking and boxing. By far, this location is my favorite one. Thanks LA Fitness in Vista, CA for a great place to work-out!!

I mainly use the pool and mens room for shower. These areas are clean. Cleaning staff comes by frequently to ensure everything is clean. Swimming pool is clean too, water temperature is comfortable. My only complaint is that the lockers are very small, smaller than other LA fitness locations and are quite dated. Could definitely use a refresh.

If you do cardio be prepared to watch FOXNEWS nonstop everyday. Sick of it and they claim its corporate. Its on every 3rd tv. Terrible they cant put on ESPN or something less aggravating.

My husband & I LOVE THIS GYM! Swimming & working out there has helped us heal & rehabilitate from a horrendous car accident where I couldnt walk or even turn my head 😔 Now I attend yoga classes 2 times a week, plus swim 2 times a week. I FEEL GREAT! I LOVE LA FITNESS....SAVED MY LIFE

I love this gym, because its helping me shed pounds. BUT it is very run down. The bathrooms take you back into time, and the machines are old and dont have any new features. Really wish they would update it!

I have been going here for 10 years. Love this gym, love the people, the wide variety of classes rock, the pool is indoors heated & clean. LA FITNESS has helped my husband & I through car accidents & hard times with our health. I feel really fit & in great shape because of LA FITNESS....WE ARE TOTALLY GREATFUL THAT WE LIVE NEARBY....soon returning to France, but I will miss this gym.

Good place to workout. Not so crowded that its hard to get equipment to train with. The also have some quality trainers there as well.

They need to change there hours back to normal 4 a.m. opening time for when there open or even 24 hours open. If Orange County has already changed there hours back to normal why have we not in North County?

This is my home gym. The front desk staff are nice. The place is kept clean.Most of the members have been there for years like myself. Its comfortable!

**BEWARE OF BETRIZ** I like this gym and the equipment however customer service is HORRIBLE! I’ve been a member seance 2013 and I have NEVER seen Beatriz R smile or greet any customer. She acts as if people owe her something. If I’m paying money to this place I believe I should be treated nice and with respect but Beatriz knows NOTHING about good customer service and everyone who joins this gym should BEWARE FOR BEATRIZ!!!

They had cheat employee in there. They fraud my money. I was told the Salesmen. My mother she visited us in here. And i held my mother open an account in there. i already told the Salesmen my mother only in there three months. and paid 120 dollars in one time in cash for three months. But right now. i found my credit was charge another 40 dollars a month. i told there manager Beatriz. It was a mistake. She said: the salesmen is not in here any more. She can not refund. Only Cancel. What is happening? It is theres mistake. and there is no apologize. It is really make me upset. Dont trust them, or you will lost your money.

Ive been going there for almost 6 months now, I have seen changes in the staff a few times. I will say that the staff now is amazing!!! From the General Manager Beatrice to ALL the receptionists! Shay, Pamela, Yolva.... The Sales Manager is awesome as I didnt care for the previous one to be honest! One of the advantages of this location I noticed is that they are one of the only ones to have a hot steam room and a sauna. Plus, That location opens earlier than most in San Diego County and closes the latest (4 am to 11 pm- Monday through Thursday) Friday it still opens at 4 am and closes just one hour earlier.... I would recommend this location to anyone that lives close to Vista or cares about the steam room, and that may want to get an extra hour in! Amazing staff! The equipment is good enough for me to get my workout in :-)

Its ok. But the hot tub is kinda gross. I wish they would resurface the tub and maintain the locker room showers, sauna and steam room a bit better. But its been that way for about 10 years. Probably not going to change. Not too many young people so its not crowded with selfie kids hogging equipment

Ive been with LA Fitness for 2 years I never had a problem until they put a new manager named Brandy she is the most rude person I have ever met she takes out her anger on people. My card didnt go through because I had changed banks and when I went in she didnt give me a chance to explain she just kicked me out like a dog. I have canceled my membership and now a member of 24 hour fitness they are very nice and friendly :).

By far the trashiest gym Ive been to. Even had an old lady trainer kick me off a machine mid set, knowing I was still on the machine. There are plenty of other gyms nearby, dont go to this hole.

I really dislike this facility compared to the others. The womens bathrooms are always dirty. The shower have mold. The steam room smells of mold too. The lockers are broken and also filthy. The bathroom door are also broken. This place needs to update already!!!

So far, nice people. The spa needs to be resurfaced, its clean, it just looks dirty. I am concerned about the womens wet sauna. It smells moldy. Im highly sensitive to mold, so I cant go in it. Other than this, the place looks clean, equipment is in good order and in using it almost every day.

I have been attending for 8 years now. I got a special promotion that has 2 guests allowed per visit. They let me keep the promotion as long as I renew annually in full. Equipment needs upgrading as some seems old. Bathrooms are decent but have the locker smell for the men.

Not a bad gym at all. Ive been going here for about 5 years now. The staff is ok but the clientele at this gym is nasty, mostly because its Vista. I wonder sometimes if Im at the gym inside of the prison by the looks and actions of most of the clientele. Not many girls go here its mostly just males covered in tattoos.

This is the worst gym that I have ever tried. The equipment is old, the place has paper towels all over with empty water bottles. This place brings new meaning to the word Ghetto. The only girls that were there were the ones that worked at the place. I would give a - stars if I could, people leave bags all over the floor and give dirty looks like they want to fight. I would not recommend this gym to anybody.

Horrible laterally juts stold my money got 300$ dollars upfront just to sign up plus an annual fee of 40 some dollars along with 20 dollar monthly fee told me i would be able to bring my son use the basketball court pool and everything finally decided to come with my son and now there is an age limit which was never mentioned when i signed up for it keep in mind I even brought my son when i signed up for it and was never told there would be an issue bringing him now there is no refund no nothing jst the most horrible experience so dissapointed.

This is a cop hangout location. Cops like to just sit in their cars and hang out in the parking lot. Im definitely cancelling my membership.

This is not an adult only gym anymore. they now offer swim lessons to children. so if you like having kids running around in the locker room and all over the pool area, go for it. this is a new program they are offering for members with kids. if you have no kids, screw us, right? i cancelled my membership. i am disgusted

I would do no stars if I could. The workers are shady and love to screw you over on contracts and such. Dont come here if you value your money.

Clean, friendly gym. Particularly nice during the quite hours. Paying less than my YMCA membership was for my whole fam and have access to any US LA Fitness.

Always clean with enough equipment for everyone. A pool, spinning, classes, & steam & sauna. Locker room has showers. A complete facility.

Reasons why I stop 🛑 coming to this Gym .1- Employees interruption trying to sell you out their boot camp, bla bla bla2.- The gentleman’s Restrooms 🚽 not Clean properly.3.- They don’t turn ON the AC ... there’s no air at all... ugh 😑

Id give this a solid 3.5 because the locker room needs to be updated. Otherwise it is your typical gym. The swimming pool, spa, sauna, and steam room are all nice also.

I was visiting a friend in Vista and stopped off for quick workout. The sauna and spa was down on a crowed holiday. The bathrooms smelled like mold. Never again

They REALLY need a shower by the pool, or at least a sign that says Shower FIrst. Really people, PLEASE shower before you enter the pool. Although this isnt one of the newest or nicest LA Fitness around, the staff is always friendly and the hours are great.

Its clean. I always see someone cleaning the bathroom and the machines, and someone is always vacuuming. The sales guy signed me up for a free intro personal training session without telling me the date. Thank god I got an email or else I would have never been able to cancel it, and would have wasted the session. Other than that, the staff is friendly, always saying hi.

Would leave your kids in a daycare where the person who is getting your info is giving you attitude, and treating you with no respect? This is a big sign your kids are not going to have a good time. I normally go to the gym during the week and the ladies who are there are really nice and friendly! I decided to go on a Sunday morning for a spinning class, and the lady who was in the daycare she asked me to go back to the front desk because I didnt pay for my kids, and I said I will have to give you a phone number because theyre in a different membership, and she said you cant bring your kids with a different membership, and I said yes I can because the membership belongs to my husband, and she said you didnt say it was your husband. I gave her three time my husbands phone number, and she said it didnt appear in the system, and I said why dont ask the other employee who was watching the other kids, she always help me during the week and we never had this issue before. She refused to do it and she asked me again for the phone number, and I said you know what i wont leave my kids with a person like you lady! I walk out with my kids. As a parent it is important to leave your kids with someone who will be kind and show respect toward others, I enjoy work out, but if my kids will not be happy in a daycare, I will find other alternatives!!

At La Fitness in San Marcos Ca,Months ago I was harassed by a member name Ralph Winchell. I reported him to staff on a number of times but nothing was done to stop it so I left. But they still want my money just the same. 1 Corinthians chapter 6 clearly states that thieves nor liars will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. I advice anyone to stay away from such a business as La fitness. If the owners and staff and trainers as well dont change their ways you all will spend the rest of your lives in HELL FOREVER AND EVER.

For the most part the staff are really nice but the reason why Im not giving a full 5-star rating because the chlorine content in the hot tub was too high and was burning my eyes and you can smell the chlorine mens locker room

This is the only la fitness that I have found a dry sauna and the wet sauna its the best Im from Tennessee and Im a truck driver but I come here once to two times a week . I love it .

We went for a trial arranged by the salesman Randy. The experience was an absolute disaster. The guy only wanted to close a deal with us, so he could get a commission; not only did he have any idea about he was doing, he also did it in a shady and touchless way, withholding information and playing weird tactics to make a sale (that of course, he ended up not making). Long story short, he made us paid for the free trial because we didnt one to sign up just yet! I still give a 2 stars because of the great Mat Pilates class. About the rest, facilities are old and not well taken care of. Worst customer service experience in my life, courtesy of this Randy guy.

I like LA fitness. I was going to 24hr fitness, but they would raise my monthly payment without telling me. There service was horrible and there gyms not clean. LA fitness is very clean and they havent raised my payment.

Vista location - Rude manager, rude staff and if you forget your tag, you will have to provide a drivers license to get access to the gym even if they have your photograph on file. Are they running a gym or a bank vault?The equipment is always sticky so you have to wipe it down before and after use. All in all a shabby depressing place to exercise. My 3 year membership will be up for renewal in September - KEEP YOUR GYM.

Their focus is very much on Strenght training, and in reguards to that they are very narow minded. They do not value cardio or other forms of finess regiment very much. How ever the staff are very friendly and well educated in their specific field. They do have a pool and tread mills, but dont be surprised if they want to sell you a training package because you are not doing strength training.

They were taking money out from my debit card with out my permission. I paid 150$ to start and I was supposed to be month by month with no hidden delivery fees I tried canceling and they were charging me $60. The workers are rude and have no morals towards there consumer.

This review is for those that put customers and their circumstance above rigid rules of the business. My daughter who was 16 at the time joined LA FITNESS hoping to get in shape in time to go back to school, she had been out of school for about a year and a half. She has Lupus and thought she could handle the gym. After her first free session with the trainer I knew she was not ready. She still wanted to try it out. She was working and was paying for the gym herself. Because I was not on her gym membership I reminded her that if she decided to quit she needed to cancel. She did not but she did tell me she had received an email asking for new banking information so she thought that her account had been canceled. Well it was not, and she was charged along with an overdraft charge. I called and talked to Beatrice she said there was nothing she could do other than cancel her membership. I talked to her for a bit and then was transferred to Charlie the floor manager. I asked him to also please remove the last charge and he said there was nothing he could do. I reminded him if he wanted to, he could remove the charge but that would be showing grace. You see my daughter is saving up for a car and she messed up and did not cancel in time, and to be fair I too had not been on top of the whole thing, but again a business that actually cares about the customer bestows grace rather than care just about TAKING a 16 year olds money. My daughter had not gone back because her health did not allow it, but that did not matter. All that matters to LA FITNESS is taking her money fair and square. Thats pretty sad but my daughter learned a valuable lesson that will follow her the rest of her life. Customer Service. She has already learned from working how to treat customers but now she is learning what a company that does not care about its customers looks like. This company is called LA FITNE$$!

Horrible customer service

It was a nightmare for me with LA fitness at 92081 lately. At the first visit In Oct I told one of their representatives to open an account for mom for three months only and paid it all even with cash. He said understood and welcome to LA fitness with a smile. But actually the lease was still with recurring policy term with small font. I hadnt realized it until I saw a recurring charge in Dec. I went to their front desk to dispute the charge but was given a word that they cant do anything to refund the charge because the policy is the policy and there was no proof to defend what I say, and by the way the previous representative was left. What a political manner. The way LA fitness treats with the customers is very different from the other business/companies, and out of the scope people get used to. I post the message for your information although most likely I cant do any thing to get back my loss.

Make sure you wash your hands often and bring fresh towels. Stop the spread of sickness!

This gym is fantastic! I have been to about a dozen of them and the layout here on the floor and in the locker room is by far da best. The staff are great people always have a smile and a greeting for you, hellos and goodbyes are constant! its well maintained clean all round (seems always to me anyway). The showers,the mats, the tiles the equipment...everything always super super clean...I really appreciate this facility and am pretty lucky I get to get healthier and cleaner there as well. There is nothing wrong with this place to me! im a 57 year old man who complains alot but I havent 1 damn negative thing to say about anyone or anything about the Vista LA Fitness which btw I go to nearly 4-5 times a week. Its funny how reviews can be negative but most of the time you will never hear anything great about facilities. Ive been a member of la fitness for 12 years and worked out at Vista for 3 years. The new management at Vista location are amazing!!!!!!. Brandy had been very helpful at numerous times and Bobby serrano the G.M on his review of being in prison for multiple d.u.Is???. I work in law at the courts and did research and has no prior records nor being imprison. I love my club at Vista and will continue telling coworkers and friends to join.. fyi no relationship with Bobby serrano because of the same last name.
