Anna was just one of the many reasons we chose Shadowridge Golf Club as our wedding venue, and we could not have been happier with EVERYTHING! Annas team at Shadowridge was fantastic in both the planning process and on the day of our event. Shadowridge offers a beautifully landscaped, intimate ceremony site outdoors, and plenty of ballroom space indoors in the clubhouse for cocktail hour and the reception/dinner/dancing. The venue spaces are private to your single event, allowing for a relaxed, fun environment. We cant say enough about Anna herself. She is the ultimate professional and an absolute pleasure to work with!

I don’t know about golfing, but as a wedding venue it’s a good place. The food is alright, and the staff is overall helpful, except for a couple of them. There were two coordinators, and somehow they disappeared without saying a word to the bride or the groom, which is rather unprofessional. Other that though they made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. By the way, their WiFi is really good, unlike other golf club wedding venues that I have been. I have been to many, and this one was a pleasant surprise.

Not a golfer, was there for an event. However, this place is amazing! All of the staff were on point, the food was good. The course looked stellar, made me kinda want to golf. Definitely recommend.

Played here as part of Golf Moose’s Member for a day event. The facilities are very nice, and the fairways were in good condition. The bunkers were not in prime condition, and the greens were fairly average. The course is nice enough, but there really isn’t anything special about it. There weren’t really any holes that stood out.

This review is for my Wedding. We chose this venue for our ceremony and reception namely because it was more affordable than the rest, and they said YES to just about everything I requested, which is a big deal for a bride. They are dog friendly, so my fur-baby could carry the rings, and hang out near the reception. They converted part of the bridal suite to a kids room, which was great for the parents. Anna is a sweetheart and a dream to work with. They imported Australian beer for my ozzie groom and his family. Our biggest complaint was with the food. They went above and beyond in creating a special menu to include lamb, at my husbands request. The tasting was fantastic, I mean incredibly delicious. Unfortunately when it came to preparing the same dishes for the wedding (about 67 people), the food was subpar. Id hate to think what it would be like with a larger wedding of 100+ people. The lamb was undercooked for most people, including my husband, and the salmon was mostly overcooked. When my husband sent his lamb back to be cooked more, they didnt give him fresh sides so the rest of the food on the plate came back ice cold. Since he was the reason we requested lamb in the first place, he was extremely disappointed in his food. Youd think that for the groom, theyd take a little extra care to insure that at least his food was good. Since the food is one of the things that people remember about weddings, it is sad that the only thing people liked was the soup. The staff also broke one of our custom champagne glasses that my mother bought us while cleaning up and a few things belonging to my bridesmaids that were left at the venue overnight were not at there the next day. That being said, the wedding went off without a hitch, the bartenders were awesome (as I heard from several guests later), and the only other problems we had were with some of my vendors and not associated with the venue itself. If I could do it over, I would still choose Anna and Shadowridge, just maybe pick the simplest food possible!

As a resident along the 8th hole, I have to say that this is truly a well maintained course. The crew is out early every morning grooming the course and maintaining the tees. Very nice lakes with many species of ducks and waterfowl. A beautiful place :-)

The staff here is amazing! Anna, Ashley and the entire banquet crew were so wonderful. Our original location fell through and at the last minute. Anna was so thoughtful and kind. She provided an affordable buffet meal, table linens that match our school colors. Our Banquet was success because of the staff of shadowridge Golf Club they really saved the day and made the evening special for our athletes and families.Thank you Anna, Ashley, Lauren and the fantastic bartender.

I was at The Club only briefly to assist with a wedding prep. However, first impressions do say quite a bit.My exchanges with staff were all very courteous and professional with the exception of one young lady whom I believe was the project manager or guest services coordinator. Anna.This particular young lady is solid, incredibly polite and professional. Without hesitation one of the most understanding and accommodating individuals with whom Ive had the occasion to interact with in a relaxed but professional environment.I would gladly recommend this Club based solely on her professionalism alone.

I really enjoy this club. The course and practice facilities are fantastic. The staff is amazing and they really go the extra mile to provide personal service. The club pro is awesome and has really helped me learn how to play golf. I cant say enough about the members. Several have gone out of their way to make our family feel welcome. We love all of the fun events that the club hosts.

Outstanding club, even if you dont golf. As a Social Member, I always feel so incredibly welcome. The Social Membership is only $99 a month and that includes 50% off all meals here at your home club. It includes great social events and there are even golf clinics that are included with my membership to learn about golf. This club is my home away from home. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday; there is gentle yoga from 8:15 - 9:15a and this is also included with the membership. The class is done in the dark in the fitness center that is also included with membership. This is just such an amazing club that you have to come experience it for yourself. Melissa is the membership director at the club and she is so amazing. Feel free to tell her Syreeta Nolan referred you through Google Maps, but I was not solicited to make this review... This is just my honest opinion about the club. It is clean, well kept and beautiful.

Members only. Great golf, course is fun and well maintained. Good food. Small gym. Youth golf every Saturday! Joining Shadowridge (club corp one membership) has been amazing. Worth the cost if you can golf three times a week!

This is probably one of the best golf courses in San Diego County and very few people know about it. The greens are fantastic the fairways are tight and a typical round is 4 hours and 15 minutes even in a shotgun start. They have a great staff and if you live anywhere in North County and are thinking of joining a golf club, this is the one. Spend 5 minutes talking to you the head golf professional, Rusty Van Dam and you will understand very quickly what this place is like.

Very nice best customer service ever

We had our wedding at Shadowridge Country Club on April 22, 2017.Our wedding day couldnt have been any more amazing and it was all because of the beautiful venue and amazing staff!Everything went so smooth and on time. All the details were exactly what I envisioned and I never felt stressed, because I knew it would all be taken care of accordingly.The hillside gazebo was the most perfect place for our ceremony. Secluded, intimate, and nice breeze.Their food is incredible and their package prices are beyond reasonable when looking at wedding costs. Anna, their event coordinator, is phenomenal at what she does. Brides, this venue is for you!

Great course, very challenging. Youll get to use every club in your bag. The dining is exceptional with a diversified menu every night. Great bar with large screen TV, not to mention the four other TVs. All in all a great golf club with excellent facilities.

My husband and I attended an outdoor wedding there which was beautiful and the reception was indoors which we also enjoyed.

I played many many times this golf course. Very nice course. Great restaurant. Perfect to practice. Hilly course with deep bunkers. Love this course.

House lined lay out, but done creatively so there is a good mix of holes. Greens are tough but fair, food is good and is managed my Clubcorp which I am a fan of.

The Shawdowridge Club was spacious, warm and comfortable. I enjoyed it. I had a great time! The staff was wonderful too. Beautiful place!

My niece had her wedding and reception here this weekend. What a fantastic venue. The staff could not have ben more attentive anf friendly. Everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much to all the staff you did an amazing job!!!

I was fortunate enough to get to play in a tournament there and of course is in lovely shape very nice true greens and all of the staff were extremely nice. If you have a chance to play this course as it is Members Only definitely do it.

Im sorry but future couples, beware of this venue! If you can, please find somewhere else to go! My husband and I planned way ahead and booked them about 1.5 year in advance... We were promised to be with a great coordinator who we loved at first but turns out that she had left the company... Im not too surprised as it looks like the turnover of the staff here is pretty high especially when it comes to the wedding coordinators... If you want your wedding to go as smoothly as possible without having to worry about the staff changing, then dont go here! So after finding out that our coordinator was supposed to be a different person... it took us awhile to build trust and relationship with her. We originally had worked w/ Paloma Sweeney and then found out that she had left and got Anna Williams. Anna tried to gain our trust and then at the last minute, she ended up telling us that she wouldnt even be at the wedding (literally a week before the wedding was to take place).. WHat in the world? So, the venue ended up giving us back up people, but they havent even worked with us or planned anything with us.... Dont even get me started on the day of the wedding... The shuttle bus that was supposed to take EVERYONE to the ceremony site didnt show up.. everyone had to either park and get their cars to the ceremony site (which was not part of the plan at all) or got on golf carts to get to the ceremony site which made the ceremony start late which then cost us to pay extra for the officiant (since that was in the contract that if the ceremony started late, then there would be an extra fee)...Anyway, after the ceremony, the reception... totally didnt get the food on time and people were starving and lots of food were either under cooked/over cooked and not to their liking. My mom even got diarrhea from eating the food...On top of that, at the end of the night, when we were trying to make sure that all of our stuff was going to be ok and ready to be picked up the next day... I find out that the staff had thrown away our wedding cake topper!!! Like..what??!?! thats a keep sake! WHO THROWS a wedding cake topper away??? They even threw away the cake pillars that were to be returned to the bakery otherwise, the bakery would charge us $300 for them. Luckily, I was smart enough to ask about them, and one of the kitchen staff leads ended up looking and digging in the trash and was able to find the pillars ....but no sign of the cake topper...We tried contacting the manager, Jimmy Letourneau, but he didnt even care.... He responded to our emails saying he would talk to his staff then never got back to us... then pretended as if things were resolved.Save your money and take your money somewhere that will be better utilized and that you will for sure have an amazing wedding day!This place is unprofessional and has bad communication... Theyll just want your money, so go elsewhere! Youve been warned!
