Do NOT move here. Insanely loud neighbors past 10PM by the pool side. This place does not exactly feel clean either. Save yourself some money and go literally anywhere else, youll be better off.

Ive lived here for 2,5 years and it used to be a nice appartment complex with very responsive stuff and community events. After mission rock purchased the property everything has changed. Now its probably the worst appartment complex that Ive ever lived. Its dirty, noisy and have very poor management. During Covid-19, they have left our packages in the common area by the public entrance. I have 2 packages opened and content stolen. So they got Amazon Hub, but we still see the packages left next to it or on top. They also installed silly signs about closed amenities around the appartment, even in the area where you walk your dog or just around some rocks (which doesnt make any sense).Elevators break down regularly, the hallway is dirty, carpet has stains and smell pretty bad. No communications, except some portal messages that I never receive. If you are looking for nice appartment next to the beach - INDIGO19 IS NOT THE RIGHT PLACE. YOU WILL pay around $2000 for 2 bedroom and will get the service worse than the cheapest appartment in Virginia beach.P/s. Never wrote any negative feedbacks in my life. Just cannot stand this anymore. See the pictures to get a sense of what residents of Indigo19 are going through.

At first I was skeptical about moving in during Covid-19, since I was unable to see the apartments in person. I did have a few minor cosmetic issues when I moved in but maintenance was there right away to fix the issues. The maintenance staff is wonderful and very quick and happy to fix any issues that I have had since being here. The location is absolutely amazing, being so close to the beach and the local farmers market. I also love being so close to the interstate, it makes commuting that much faster.

Stopped by to inquire about a lease and she acted like I was poor trash because I had a budget in mind. Refused to show us a two bedroom (which was our primary interest) ends up showing us a one bedroom that wasn’t even the same layout as what was available. Place felt dirty and the people are definitely pretentious snobs. Smelled like marijuana in the hallway (which is fine) but when asked about it I was informed it was a drug free environment. Check out seashore our linkhorn bay. Much better vibe over all!

I’ve lived here for almost 2 years on the 4th and 2nd floor and I don’t have anything but good things to say about it. I don’t understand the logic behind most of the bad reviews, some things are understandable but alot of the complaints like the amenities being closed last year due to covid or dog urine rarely being come across, which the maintenance team and cleaning staff regularly make their rounds around the community so sometimes they miss something but some people just can’t be happy I suppose. And the remarks against the management team, they’ve been nothing but the best to me and my girlfriend like Michelle she’s been extremely helpful whenever I needed something she was always busy whenever I came to the office but dropped what she was doing to help me with something. The maintenance team too is awesome too really cool guys that would fix any issue in a day or 2, really friendly though. The building is awesome and nice pool area with the grills i love those, and the gym is pretty nice but I do wish there were a few more machines but its alright. Great place in my opinion to live though the highway right beside it doesn’t really matter too much you just hear it a little, sometimes an ambulance goes by but other than that its pretty peaceful. And the apartments are really really nice✌🏼

Avoid this place!!!!Current management is unprofessional and doesnt take their work seriously. I faced trouble with a poor response before signing the lease, should have considered it a red flag. The unit was not clean and ready for move-in, was filled with hair in the bedroom. The dishwasher, sink, and toilet needed repair at least twice in 5 months. There is no proper security for the building, the access to the building has been open for more than 3 months, anyone can walk into the building. The garage especially is worse, left a notice with the leasing office about the stolen property and there was no update/response till the property was recovered from the police.Michelle the manager needs to take ownership when asked about notes left regarding stolen property she didnt hesitate to lie saying the employee who took the note was a temp and no longer with the management. Funny, that employee answered the front office call the next day.Hidden charges will pop on rent, at this point, I didn’t bother questioning them. The move out isn’t any better, had to deal with another incompetent associate. Had to call 4 different times to get the move out form, and 15+ emails to confirm move out request is submitted. She was successful in making my least sign out an additional 12 days from planned.

We are SO happy here! When we were searching for an apartment, we wanted something close to the beach (✔️), spacious (✔️), BEAUTIFUL (✔️), safe (✔️), with a pool (✔️), and a gym (✔️). The amenities here are endless and it’s definitely apartment living at its finest. The pool is beautiful and we can’t wait to use it this summer! Our deck overlooks the second courtyard which makes it very private and we love having a view that isn’t a busy street. There is covered parking and all entries require a key fob. The gym is gorgeous and supplied everything I need so I’m glad to say I’ll be canceling my gym membership. I can’t say enough good about this complex! Looking forward to the warmer months so we can really enjoy all that it has to offer!

Where to even start with this so-called “luxury apartment”. If there’s one thing I can really say, it is not “luxury” at all. Spent almost three years living here and the first two was great with the last management (Steelhead Management). Well, Mission Rock takes over and it was all downhill from there. Initially, the thought of change was exciting. In this case, it was the complete opposite. Right from the transition we already had a dispute about our leasing extension. Luckily, we had documents to resolve the matter because they tried getting us for a much higher rate then signed for originally with the previous company. One specific person Michelle (manager), is someone I would describe as unpleasant, unprofessional, and ignorant. Good luck trying to get her to communicate properly. It shouldn’t take five or more phone calls to get an answer and the sorry excuse for “COVID” for every reason behind their lack of competency is sad. Forget about getting a follow up from this staff, you’ll be the one doing the follow up. Now the complex itself is reminiscent of a New York alley: dirty, smelly, with stains all over. Their level of standards is subpar, only change I’ve seen is new paint on the building. Probably to attract the naive. As for the unit, it wasn’t bad, we lived comfortably for the most part. It was until the last year when we had upstairs neighbors who sounded like they were running marathons in their 800 sq. ft. apartment. Packages stopped being delivered to the units for what ever “COVID” reasons, so they would be left out in the clubhouse for anyone to take. Maintenance worked well, but be warned about the emergency service which my fiancé did not receive after her key broke inside the door handle after hours. Needless to say, we broke another thing and that was our lease, a price of two months rent and then some. The choice made was an easy one. If you’re looking into living in an overpriced apartment complex with terrible service and issues all over then this might be the one for you. If not, one word of advice, avoid.

I have been a resident of Indigo 19 for 5 years and I must say that my experience over the years has been great. I love these apartments and their location. I used to live 24 minutes from the highway and my commute to and from work was at least 35-40 min. Being here has cut that time in half and I am grateful for it. I love that we are located approximately 1.4 mile from the beach and I am able to walk their often. There has been a substantial amount of office staff turn over; however everyone that I have engaged with during those times to include now have been extremely nice and professionally. Each Manager and office staff that I have come in contact with has displayed their care for this facility and me as a resident. I must say that the maintenance crew is punctual and friendly. Mr. Isiah is the humblest person I have met and is always wearing a smile. One Sunday before church I accidentally threw my wallet and car key down the garbage chute along with my garbage. I phoned Mr. Isaiah and he asked me if I was able to get into my home and I said yes. He said, well, I am on my way to church. I said, okay you go to church and so will I! I know to some of you this may sound crazy, but I felt like God was speaking to me and asking me what was most important on that day. I went to church and worshiped and received confirmation about a situation that I was going through. God is very personable. By the time I was released so was Mr. Isaiah. He came right away in his Sunday best and let me into the garbage room where I went dumpster diving for my belongings. I am happy to say that my wallet and keys were safe and sound in the garbage can. I learned to realize that each member of this staff is willing to assist you in anyway that they can if you give them opportunity to. With every change of command there are changes and those changes may seem to be painful at first; however I have learned that each manager is trying to follow the code of conduct to make our place of dwelling one that we can happily call home.Respectfully,Happy Dweller of Indigo 19

Indigo19 is a great complex. It is new, modern, and safe. Covered parking, awesome pool area, grills, fitness center, and walking distance to the beach. Our move in process was very easy and the apt is modern and nice. Elevators are a big plus on those upper floors!Billing has been completely transparent since we sat down and signed the lease. We know EXACTLY what to expect each month (it is all online on the resident portal). If we ever have a billing issue, the office staff takes care of it quickly.Maintenance has been very responsive to any issue we have had (2 small ones). In the last few months hallway carpets were cleaned, walls painted, pool furniture replaced, etc. They are actively managing and taking care of the facility. The front office team is always polite, friendly and a joy to talk to. They take care of your packages, and help you out if you have any issues or concerns. They actively arrange community wide events. There has been something on the calendar at least once per month since we moved in.I would highly recommend Indigo19 and their great management team for a relaxed beach lifestyle!

Looking forward to the changes ahead and I am confident in the decision made to take over the reigns.Just wanted to thank the property manager, staff, and a few of my amazing neighbors for easing some concerns I had and doing their part to alleviate the spread of the pandemic throughout our community. Scheduling made it difficult at first to converse with staff at Indigo, but they were persistence at contacting me. In my short few weeks here, I have enjoyed a pool party with a DJ, free fruit in the clubhouse, the fitness center and of course, the beautiful pool! Ive called for small maintenance requests two times, and everything was taken care of quickly. I feel safe here knowing the building is secure and covered parking is available. My apartment was shiny and clean upon move in and has everything I need! This is the first move I have made in 17 years and I am so glad I did it. Thanks so much Team Indigo!

Under new management and we had hopes that things would get better, but serious issues are STILL not being taken care of. I understand there is a lot going on at the moment, but some things take priority over that. Not to mention it is like living in a dorm or being in control by the military where you cannot do anything without someone complaining. Management is on a power trip with the amenities, so if they tell you how great this place is and the amenities are, theyll take them away for peopke sitting around talking after 10pm. Just go live elsewhere. Apartments look great, but managment and turn around time for maintenance is terrible. If i could give zero stars, I would.

This place is an EXCELLENT place to live! I have lived here for over 2 years and couldn’t be happier. Indigo is in the located in the perfect section of Virginia Beach. You are within walking distance (10 minute walk) from the beach but far enough away to avoid the overcrowding of tourists. It is also located right off the interstate. This makes the commute to work very accessible. Each apartment is spacious and the rooms offer a lot of privacy. Each apartment has a large kitchen, very spacious bathrooms, storage closets and a large laundry room. Another perk of living here is the maintenance! They are always quick to respond and very friendly. Indigo 19 is a very secure complex. Each resident is given a key fob as well as a code to buzz guests in. I feel very safe living here. A final perk of living here is the resident events and community space. Indigo 19 offers their residents grills, an outdoor pool with lounge areas, a fire pit, cornhole, billiards, free bike rentals and other fun games. These perks are great if you are a social person who loves group gatherings. The leasing office has (and continues to offer) very fun resident events such as the summer pool party, team trivia, indigo bar crawl, wine tasting, taco nights and more! These events are super fun! Lastly, the whole complex is very handicap friendly. I have a family member who loves to visit because unlike other complexes, indigo 19 is spacious and accommodates to his needs. He is able participate in many of the events as well as move around the apartment with ease. It’s great to live in a community that has everything!

Indigo19 has very courteous front office staff! They provide community events and are willing to put package deliveries in your home if you cant make it to pick up before office closure. The maintenance men are great and there is no charge for unclogging a drain or for simple maintenance fixes. They do maintenance checks to ensure all bulbs are working, which is beyond what Im use to in CA. You can pay for valet trash pick up, but there are trash chutes as well. The only time Ive really experienced a noise issue was New Years Eve when people like to yell off their patio to celebrate (which was annoying for those who have to go to bed early to work on NY Day!) The location is a 1 mile walk to the oceanfront, so convenient! There seem to always be the public electronic scooters called Bird out front of the building. Whole Foods and Trader Joes are 1 exit west. I have a corner unit overlooking the pool and get a lot of sunlight which is important to me! Indigo19 has been a great place to live the past 5 months!

I was extremely happy with living here past 2 years. However recently I came home to a note stating that they received a notice of a dog being kept on my balcony. I advise them that their is no dog in my apartment or on my balcony. Several times they repeated that multiple people have complained of a dog barking on my balcony. I find this odd as I have never heard a dog barking around that area in the building. It feels really disturbing to be threatened that you are in violation of your lease. I have never complained about anything in the building. Have defended the efforts of the leasing agents as well as the maintenance. I have had maintaince and agents in my home lots of time dropping off packages and maintenance requests. My son visited with his dog in the beginning of the year. He has his own place and visted while I was suffering with pneumonia. That dog past away in March. I do not appreciate being lied on . When asked what time frame was advised recently. There are a lot of apartments in this area and I felt very comfortable here. I will not be renewing again...

Ive lived here for 2 years and Im afraid the experience became worse and worse. If you are a disciplined resident who always behave yourself, be quiet and keep your place clean, then you will feel unfair, because leasing office can not do too much to those people who smoke in the hallway, park not in order, be very noisy, do not pick up after the dogs. What makes me the most upset is the moving out process. Ive told its ok to hire external team to get the carpet cleaned. But after I spent money, the service team said its not ok, and they have to do it on their own again. Well, ok, then move ahead. They said since I only have one living room that they need to redo, it would not beyond $100. Guess how much I was eventually charged? Over $300!! Besides, theres poor communication between leasing office and service team. Theres nothing I can do since they have your deposit and they charge at their will.To be honest, leasing office staffs are friendly. But unfortunately, my experience ends up being in a very unpleasant way.

Lived here for 1 year. it is expensive. the apartment was very nice, everything worked, and the common areas and pool area is very nice. The location is great. close but not too close to the beach. close to the freeway which is convenient but can be noisy depending on location of unit. my neighbors were respectful and not loud. not many apartment complexes around here have parking garages, this is also a nice amenity. when my lease started parking was free in the garage, now they charge extra to park in the garage. speaking of charging extra, theres lots of little fees they charge. 1. Valet Trash: where people just put a trash can outside their door and someone comes and takes it to the trash chute. seems a little too much. this is an extra 15 dollars a month. theres a $15 a month building facilities fee, along with a $4.50 billing fee and a $1.95 convenience fee each month. The employees in the management office were always very friendly and helpful. if you dont mind throwing a lot of money at rent, this is the place for you. very nice, just rather expensive.

Worst place we have ever rented.Instead of fixing the many issues that caused residents to be angry and unhappy, the owners just purges their staff, so then you have to start from scratch with a whole new staff that says they cant fix things yet because theyre so new. Really, its a brilliant strategy for putting off residents real security complaints. Staff changed twice in the one year we lived there. Our cars were vandalized a total of six times, causing us thousands of dollars of property damages.People who dont live in the building loiter in the parking garage so I didnt feel safe at all while living here. The outside locks on the building were busted the entire year we lived there, and were never fixed no matter how many times we reported it to the staff. The staff here is friendly, and the maintenance team is top-notch, but the owners really let their staff down by not empowering them to take care of the community. Sadly, a nice smile from staff doesnt go very far when the owners continue to ignore the real issues.Owners refused to take security concerns seriously, even after multiple vandalism issues for many residents in less than a year. One resident had his car stolen. The last straw for us was when there were 22 cars that were broken into in one night (ours included). After a resident spilled something on the clubhouse chairs, the owners installed a security camera to monitor the residents...but they refused to put in security cameras in the parking garage, even after the 22 cars were broken into. Instead of doing anything, they held a resident meeting to talk about solutions regarding the crime. We expected them to let us know they were going to respond to the crime with heightened security measures. Instead, we got corporate speak about how cost prohibitive it would be to put up cameras, and about how crime knows know zipcode. I asked the police officer...no other property has had that many break-ins in one night. Then, they finished the meeting by giving us a long list of things residents arent doing right. They also pulled some shady things on us with lease terms and the security deposit arrangement.I have never been so happy to move.In addition, the construction is poor quality at this building and there is no insulation on the parking garage level, so that if you live on the first floor, its freezing and uncomfortable, no matter how high you turn up the heat. And they make you run your water constantly in cold weather so the pipes wont freeze. Drives up your water bill and heat bill because they didnt build properly...just another example of the owners cheap ways. They bill themselves as a luxury complex, but they are NOT. Every month when I paid my rent, I felt royally screwed. Dont live here...youll regret it. They have a high turnover and a lot of empty units for good reason. When we left, a resident was going door to door, collecting phone numbers to organize a class-action lawsuit against them...you know an apartment complex is bad when that kind of thing happens.

I pay $30 every month for my trash to be picked up, but not once has anyone picked it up. I talked to the front desk girl about it, but she was very unhelpful and seemed clueless. Also, if you live here you have to pay extra for parking in the garage because normal parking spots always run out, and if you park in the garage without a ticket, theyll tow you(: And the fire alarms are ALWAYS going off early in the morning and it lasts for about 5-10mins. very annoying and theres never any warning.
