Worst costumer service ever… Asked to speak to a manager and the man I spoke with was being extremely rude and unprofessional. I really can’t comprehend or fathom how this is even a protection plan. Please do not spend your hard earned money on this POS protection they offer. I’m a platinum member with them and they could care less… 4 days without a rental because they are penny pinching.
Worst customer service ever! Absolute trash company, been dealing with a gap claim for almost three months because of them and they not only tried to find any excuse not to pay, but when they did pay, they decided to only pay half of the remaining balance on the loan. Very poor communication, absolutely no customer information verification. Personal information and documents have been sent to the wrong address. Had nothing but rude claims representatives, I’ve been hung up on, yelled at, my intelligence and integrity were questioned by more than one representative. If I could give NEGATIVE stars, I would.
This GPS Protection Plan is a joke. The dealership said they could not remove the device and made me purchase it. Apex does not issue any sore of cancellation or refund for their products. What a joke of a company. I plan to locate the device and remove it.
For anyone doing their research on extended warrantys stay away from this company. You would do well if you honestly stayed away from all extended warranties, but just the customer service on the phone is terrible. If you are a professional stay away from this company or any company that sells their insurance the only thing it insures is that they are getting your money .
Pathetic company. Paid $3,000 for a policy that literally covers NOTHING! They will find any excuse to deny a claim. And customer service isnt in their vocabulary. Horrible service all the way around. This place is a total scam. DO NOT buy from this company. Id give 0 stars if I could.

Worst experience ever!! Wont pay claims. Had a vehicle stolen, and the insurance paid their part, but they wouldnt pay their part. You pay all this money for GAP, and they wont even do their part. Gave us the run arounds, the customer service team and manager Brad are all very rude and unprofessional!! Wouldnt give us corporate number or his full name. Now we have a ding on our credit report, they wont pay, and they dont care!! Lack of compassion. His only response was cancel you GAP! Really dude
Decided to buy the warranty read the reviews and will be canceling ASAP. They charged more for this warranty on a Nissan Fontier than I paid for a factory extended warranty on my new ram.
The Worst, they will deny your claims because it’s just too expensive for them to want to pay it. I took my car in and they said it would be covered I called to make sure it was covered and told it was. My car was in the dealership with service for 4 days and they ended up denying my claim because it was too expensive for them to pay. Bunch of crooks it’s a breach of contract. I am going to blast them everywhere, if you’re ever buying a car and they offer extended warranty if it’s apex, SKIP IT!
Purchased their “Platinum” coverage 48months or 48,000 miles- car was loosing power and pulling, took it to a Nissan Dealership and turns out there is major engine problems, Called Apex thinking since I purchased a great package through Dodge Grapevine In Texas they would have my back but surprise! Repair were not included because they claim the condition was pre- existing? Are you kidding? I took the car to the dealership immediately after my wife and I started noticing the pulling! They claim it’s over 89miles over the manufacturer’s power train warranty! Are you serious! Am I suppose to know at what point the car will breakdown? I spoke to John from and Apex and Brent his manager and they are both Rude and disrespectful and all they care is about the company and they do everything they can to deny your claim! I suggest someone from Apex gets in contact with me and find a resolution..... I will not rest until they take responsibility- I will escalate to all levels for me as a consumer and for all they people that have posted reviews about Apex being the worst car warranty company ever-
I wish they had negative stars. I’ve had two repairs with their “gold” coverage and both were not covered. If you have an option, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They cover nothing and find a way to make it seem normal.
HORRIBLE!!!! I spoke to John in the claims department and he is VERY rude and disrespectful. They dropped the ball on my claim and now I have to pay the difference from my vehicle that was totaled last may by an object that fell off of another vehicle. They denied getting paperwork from my insurance company at the end of may and when my insurance company offered to send the confirmation paper showing Apex received it the supervisor refused and said “ it will not change our decision”. I DO NOT recommend them to anyone. Save your money they are a BIG JOKE.
This protection plan doesnt cover anything. I took my vehicle in without ever having it serviced and I was told I needed a update on my vehicle for my transmission. This is a pretty expensive update and Im not sure why a brand new vehicle would need such a thing but Apex would not cover it. The customer service was also rude and they dont even reimburse you for a rental car, they State they do but in the end you will be coming out of pocket. I do not recommend a Apex for anyone unless you want to be broke and spend your money on something thats worthless.
