Wow! What a gorgeous showroom. I stopped by to check out cabinetry as Im considering a kitchen remodel. It was so fun to walk through their design studio and see what they have set up for showing you the different lines and how creative they can be period they have a multitude of options and can do pretty much anything within a 16th of an inch in custom cabinetry. They have wonderful staff that were super helpful with my questions and Im currently working with a person to come up with a plan that will lend itself to a mid-century home with a modern twist and within a budget.
After 32k & 4 1/2 months of waiting for our cabinets and countertop we bought from them to arrive we were delivered a color completely different than order. After contacting them, our initial thought was confirmed. The color the designer used as a diagram was the color she ordered it in. We were then given the options. #1 hire someone to come in our house and paint them and they would cover the cost of our top of the line designer cabinets to have whoever we hire to put a coat of paint on them. #2 have someone take the doors off and paint them with a 2nd coat to make them the color ordered at the manufacture as to which one would only come in the home to paint the surrounding area of cabinets. The last option in the email she sent said, although this option wouldn’t work well for either of us, we could send the entire kitchen back and wait another 4 1/2 months. That’s a total of nine months in a house of five with no kitchen. Really? After this mistake you’re thinking of yourself saying you wouldn’t want the option that would cost you money. With no apologies made due to their mistake. The lady who put the order in wrong also continued directing us to cheap cabinet handles when I asked about the designer ones she kept saying they’re very expensive after saying well we bought designer cabinets that were very expensive why wouldn’t we want expensive accessories she finally went and checked the arrival date and price that didn’t matter anyway if that’s what we wanted. In addition to having to contact her to get the kitchen layout because she never sent it to us. after waiting over twice as long as she said it would be it was finally emailed to us after contacting her for it. Then again having to contact her a 2nd time after the initial asking of how many handles and knobs we need prior to install because she once again didn’t get back to us and let us know. . With A designer like this you don’t want to be a customer
Second time around with Dewils cabinets and both times have been excellent. Kirsten was easy, timely and knowledgeable. Keen Edge installers were equally excellent. Highly recommend.
Bought high end washer and dryer a couple years ago. Sale and delivery were fine, and had intended to purchase more appliances as needed from DeWils. Washer failed today, and when I called for service was told that the owner didnt want to deal with parts and service. Was told they could refer me to an outside source. Not what I wanted to hear. Prices are competitive, service is not. Wont be back, and will not recommend.
As a project designer working with high-quality cabinets, I appreciate the diverse and well-designed DeWils showroom. I enjoyed the visit!
Kirsten has been so good to us, taking the time to get what we want!! Thank You
