Went to them for help in developing a strategy for altering the sound of my 72’ 510’s exhaust. We exchanged ideas over the course of 50 minutes and settled on a 15” internally louvered resonator to achieve the goal I had in mind. Returned the next day for the install. 2hrs later, goal achieved. Nice to have a neighborhood asset like this in our little corner of the Vancouver region.

Had the unfortunate event of my catalytic converter get stolen off my toyota prius. They were the first shop i called and had me in and out within a day. Awesome shop, great people, and i will be using them for now on. Thanks again guys!

Excellent thorough service! Wonderful honest staff who really are there to help you with all your automotive needs. It’s a smaller shop that really cares. Waiting area has recliners, TV, play area for small children, free coffee and wifi. There is also a separated round table with chairs for studying or other things if you like to be away from others.

These guys take good care of me and my vehicles. Mark is a great guy. He always gives me options and fixes my stuff right the first time around. The whole staff here is easy to work with and honest. That can be hard to find in a mechanical shop. These guys will continue to get all my business.

I was getting jerked around by Carmax automotive repair and the ford dealership was booked out. So I decided to take my car to Dads for a tune up and to address the check engine light. I gave a list of additional things I wanted to have done. I also prepaid. The next day they told me they did them all but 1 thing that did not need doing. HONESTY. They also charged about 700.00 dollars less than FORD dealership and about 250.00 less than CarMax auto service. It was nice they had a FORD tech on staff. MONEY well spent, I love it and will be returning for more work/modifications in the future.

I had an exhaust put on my truck. I have a 2015 F-150 5.0. For some reason ford doesnt do the beefier exhaust and i like to American muscle sound of the V8. They did an amazing job . It was fast and no complaints.They have a really nice waiting room but i elected to walk down to Starbucks just a few mins down the road . I needed to get some work done .The owners are polite and very nice . I wasnt sure what exhaust i wanted So i left it in there hands . Let me tell you Im so happy i did .Thank you to everyone that worked on my truck. EXCELLENT JOB!

Get this.... I walked in for the first time to check this place out for my Rav4 and had a coupon from the web site. Except it was from the website of My Dads in California (no relation to this shop)! Guess what? Jeff said they would honor the coupon anyway. Good first impression! I tried them out with an oil change, and the coupon included new wipers, battery check, tire rotation, look things over. I asked for the recommended synthetic oil, for which I paid a few dollars more. Well, it went without a hitch and Tony finished faster than the time they had estimated. And the wipers? They even included one for the back window! Everything checked out good except the rear brakes, and I need to watch the shocks/struts and plan for that. So I took it in two days later for the rear brakes, they cost $40 less than estimated because Tiffany found a better price for rotors, and in less time again. And Jeff said to watch for Monroes annual buy-3-get-1-free sale in September for the shocks and struts, which I will. I got to meet and thank Tony, who did the work. So altogether, first experiences, this shop was very nice. I plan to revisit for more work when needed.

UPDATE: I had My Dads do a vehicle inspection 2 months ago and found no problems. It turns out that their inspection wasnt thorough enough. The clutch and flywheel needs to be replaced ($2900 job), which I asked them specifically to check. I will use them again, but not for work on this car. You guys really let me down.I’ve been using my Dad’s for many years now and recommend them to everyone I know. Over the years, I’ve had them do vehicle inspections on most of my cars, brake issues, wheel bearings, radiator issues, etc. with no complaints. The ONLY problem I have with them is they’re always busy (A side effect of being good). Two things are hard to find. 1.A good mechanic 2. A good used car dealer. Atleast I’ve found #1, still working on #2.

Love this place. Great communication and pretty average pricing. Our company has taken all of its vehicles here for maintenance and repairs. Definitely stand behind their warranties.There is also a used car sales opportunity here and we purchased a van through them. The van is going strong 2 years now and they stood behind the warranty if any issues popped up.

Beware!!! They broke more stuff than they fixed!! We shopped around for a local place that would replace the water pump at a reasonable price. This being a fairly well maintained car I wanted an expert to repair it and replace belt and pulleys, water pump and coolant. We have had all preventative maintenance done by local shops neighboring this place and have actually parked across the street dozens of times at our favorite place to eat. We set a time and had them diagnose the problem also. We were told that it would cost us $1,500 and I know from experience that most of this was Labor because the parts for this repair were less than $200. Having worked in the automotive industry for years as a certified frame technician at a body shop I have done repairs like this many of times myself but have developed stage 4 cancer. Sadly to say I cannot do simple Automotive repairs anymore without it taking weeks to do them. Well to make an even longer story short they botched the job and broke multiple items on my car. About $2000 dollars worth. The first thing that we realized as they had broke their cruise control. When we called two confront them about this they told us that it was broke when we brought it in and it was not. About a week later when it started getting hot we noticed that the air conditioner was also not working. My girlfriend which worked for this car as a nurse for an elderly lady that bought this car brand new and had every single maintenance done by the dealership routinely. Well to say the least she was pretty Furious and so was I being the one that suggested that we take it to my dads. She took the car back have them look at it for both problems and they told us that both of these problems were there before we brought the car in and treated us like we were trying to scam them out of something. They looked at this and then brought up something about they had written down on their paperwork that the cruise control was broken beforehand but they had nothing in their paperwork about the air conditioner they jumped it with a wire and said that it must be the switch which is a blatant lie because I looked at it myself and they broke the plug off at the air conditioning unit Im including photos of said plug. But I was told that they would absolutely not pay to fix any of this nor would they admit to ever breaking any of it because their mechanics at otherwise. I threatened to stop payment on the credit card in the mechanic screamed and hollered at me and threatened to keep my car and put a lien on it. He was so Furious did he just fell short of threatening me. They really didnt like the fact that I knew what had happened and felt like I was being screwed out of the money that I worked hard to pay to that when I know they messed up the job and still to this day wont admit it. I called them once just to see if maybe they would find it in their heart to fix the things they have broken somehow even if it wasnt replacing it with new stuff. Again I was met with absolutely refusal to do any work without being paid for it which makes me Furious even more because they blatantly lied. Funny thing is I just put a little Super Glue on that plug and I plugged it in there and the thing works just fine and it has nothing to do with the switch once so ever. You guys should be ashamed of yourself you give us mechanics a really bad name. DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! Could cost you more than its worth.

This is the best auto repair shop in the whole state, probably one of the last honest mechanics in town. I highly recommend this place if your cars has any problem at all these guys can fix it. And if its nothing major you dont have to worry about them gouging you on the price. If there was three more stars on here Id give it to them.

Attempted to fix my transmission fluid leak. When i took my car into Dick Hannah, they stated that my transmission was still leaking fluid. When i took my car in to My Daddys Automotive, i took it in for 1 main reason. They did more work that was not needed to be done and $400 later, took something out of my car to stop the problem. I must say they did stop the problem, but the part they took out, i did not get back. The part is needed to pass emissions and i still have to go through. Very upset about my transmission leak and how they took advantage of all of the other things that had to be fixed immediately because they assumed it was the problem. As professionals, it should take they 5+ tried to fix the problem it went in for.

You cant beat family shops, they truly educate you on your vehicle and are genuinely caring about you and your ride.

Been going here for any muffler/exhaust needs over the last 9-10 years. Decided to write a review after what could have been a crappy visit at most shops. Needed a simple weld done on my old subaru downpipe. 100 bucks, easy fix. However, while doing the work, one of the techs tore my o2 sensor. They quickly explained what had happened, ordered a new one and installed it while I waited. The extra wait might have irritated some folks, but an up front apology is always appreciated. If that wasnt enough, they gave me a 40% discount on my bill.Thanks guys! I really appreciate you.

I love these guys. They were way nice and really took time to find the problem I was having with my car. Thered been a metallic grinding noise coming from below for about a year. It was really hard to pinpoint but they did it and when they realized the problem was an easy fix they didnt even charge me. I had a fantastic experience.
