This is one of the best Golden Corrals weve been to in years. Fantastic choices to choose from, clean everything (including restrooms), great people. Food was cooked very well, was fresh, and tasted fantastic, not like a formula. The food had a local quality to it as if the cooks took what they were given and put their own touches on it, and the result is a treat for the senses. Cleanest place weve seen in that long as well. Truly a hidden gem.

Everything looked great but was actually very bland. Very disappointed. Except for the rolls. They are wonderful.

Went to get s to go order and young girl who greeted me was rood! Stated they were not open until 1030. I told her time on website was incorrect. Showed as open now. She asked me if I was on ztyler location. I told her yes. It has since been updated. No use in being rood if your in public service.

We enjoy going to this location. The variety of food choices is astounding! And very flavorful! All the staff has been very pleasant each time we’ve been there, no matter which time of day or night.

My husband and I love eating here. One of the few places left to eat great food and not have to pay outrageous prices.

The food was good and there was a very good selection. We did not have to wait in a line and the prices were good. The reason I did not give them 5 stars was because the waiter had to be called to table anytime we needed something. He did not regularly check that we were ok. We will go back but sit in another area to hopefully get better service.

Service was great,I had an excellent waiter,the eggs werent hot but everything else was great, the bacon was cooked to perfection and to top it off there was not a lot of patrons we really enjoyed breakfast.

We eat at Golden Corral at least twice a month and love the food. The staff is always pleasantly nice and there are so many different varieties of food to choose from. We always look forward to drive into Tyler and come eat there. Keep up the great work.

Giving 4.2 rate. Food are good and dessert are good. Great service and good atmosphere. Only one that I wish there is more. Other than that....good job.

Our Favorite Place to eat in Tyler. What a bargain. Lots of great food, where you can choose to eat really healthy or just stuff your self on comfort food and lots of great desserts.

We were treated poorly by the cashier dont know if she was have a bad night or just ready to leave. Not our fault. Manager was notified, I spent 30 plus dollars and they stated putting and packing up the food while we were still there before closing time. So we were not able to enjoy our meal and they would not accommodate me on a personal food issue. So if I can help it I wont go back here especially at night.

For me buffets are hit and miss. They can be good or not and this was not for me. I have heard for some friends it was good but it was not for me. First off let me say that the place was clean and the bathrooms were clean too. I tired a little bit of everything I could eat and most of the food was mediocre. One example was the Mac and cheese now I stay away from carbs at buffets but I love Mac and cheese but this tasted nasty. It was very watery and there was hardly any cheese taste. I think I like only two things there which was there cheeseburger without the bread and their pulled pork. I got there at breakfast time and it was not crowded but once 11 am came people came and 2 school bus with kids came before I left. I dont think golden corral is going change because people are still going and eating lame food. The pictures I put are some food items the serve. Oh I forgot the servers ask if you want rolls which is strange but I know why they do it. Now that I went there I wont go back. UPDATE! If you have a disability like autism be sure to tell them and make sure they accommodate you from your disability because they didnt do it to me and the manager on duty said it was more important that a group get a quiet spot then me. Of course I was just about done with eating but still management could of said something. You do not have to tell them your disability just make sure you get treated right and have happen to you happen to me.Update. Food is still not good and the bathrooms stink.

The food was great as always. Everything was fresh. It was very easy to stick to my Keto diet. Our server Jorge was very good at his job. Being a Saturday the place was VERY busy and he stayed on top of everything AND kept his station very clean.

Im originally from Toledo Ohio and we had G.C. there. I practically lived there! Amazing food and service! I also love GC here in Tyler Texas yahoo going there today cant wait! GC is truly the greatest restaurant in the world!

It was good, Good prices for 3 people it was $29 for 3 people, good food and beverages but, there was a lot of stuff in between the wall and seat of the booths such as forks,masks, foods Ect.The bathrooms dont have paper towels, only blow dryers Which leave more bacteria than using paper towels. So 4 stars for right now but yeah. If you guys could do something about this then please do.

I usually dont go to buffet style restaurants but, I do enjoy going to this one. The quality of their food is really good, and really good tasting steaks. They dont let their food set out to long either. Everything is fresh.

Weve only gone on the weekends which is more expensive but the food is good. Reasonable prices for our little ones. Good variety.

My experience was great. I took a co-worker from John Sole Foods. The food was awesome. We both enjoyed the elderly lady who was our waitress. She came with a smile and appears to love her job.

The manager was exceptionally nice friendly and professional. Even it was closing time and the bar was being cleared off he come by to say anything we need he would prepare it fresh.One of his staff did something that was unsanitary and he jumped on it immediately and said this will never be tolerated we was pretty proud of him for that.It was an accident on the staff members part however what followed was not proper in any check from her fashion and so he was trying to provide counseling to his staff member in educate her on sanitary matters.To make sure she is safe the guest and other staff are safe and that she follows the Texas department of Public health rules and regulations in cleanliness and in being sanitary and proper so that everybody can remain safe and have a enjoyable meal.God bless you and your family and your staffThank you Mr. Manager

Buffets to go were a little expensive but so good! They didnt get stingy with the steak either.

Always amazing food. Great staff to help you with anything you could need. My drink has never willingly gone dry. Its on the pricey side but worth every penny.

Wow! The staff in Tyler was amazing!!!! From the host cashier, servers, staff on the grill, to people cleaning, filling up the station.... I was amazed!!!! Yall were on it.....Whoever is running it you are doing an amazing job with your staff! Food was fresh...not salty, also cooks keep up the awesome job....

Update Visited on 4-7-2021: They no longer require a masks at the buffet. They also allow you to get your own food and plate. They do provide you with a glove when touching the serving utensils. They do have signs up stating that masks are greatly appreciated but not required. The food this time was much much better. The chocolate fountain is still down but you can still get stuff dipped in chocolate.

Over 20 years later, and the best thing about this place is still the rolls. I really wasnt that impressed with the rest of the food, most of it seemed to lax seasoning.

Food was delicious and our server was friendly and she definitely made sure we were taken care of .....very pleasant experience!

The food was good, the dessert selection was small, BUT what ruined everything? The CONSTRANT screaming children, popular not crying babies that I understand. But Im talking about screaming children. Either a manager or wait staff or somebody should ask them to corral their children, because it totally ruined my table of four, dining experience. I paid almost $60 and all I heard throughout my whole meal was high-pitched screaming This kind of atmosphere should be controlled.

Even with the precautions that are in place this is still the best buffet in Tyler. Steak was excellent and the sweet potatoes was heavenly. I guarantee if you go there you will have a great time.

So my sister and I where out and about and was the first time having lunch since she had her baby. I know this is trivial, but she is a breast feeding mom. This was the first time she had ever breastfed in public. I am glad to announce to the world that this golden corral location is VERY family friendly. We loved their changing table. It was very sturdy. Even the most unruly babies would not be able to budge it. Our waiter was Terrence. He was very polite, and attentive to our needs. The food was good and fresh as well. Even on a fairly busy Thursday lunch rush, the restaurant was clean, and so was the bathroom. Thank you golden corral for the very positive experience!

Took my family there this evening for what was supposed to be an enjoyable family meal but that was far from the case. The manager is not aware of ADA policy regarding service animals and told my husband that his service dog had to stay under the table we were seated at and couldnt go up to the buffet with my husband while he was getting food which goes against ADA policy. That limited my husband to one plate because he cant just leave his dog at the table and go get food. I spoke with the same manager that told my husband this and he accused my husband of bringing in a non-certified service dog saying that if she was trained we would have known the rule against her going up to the buffet with my husband. I asked to see some written policy and he said there wasnt any. I asked for the owners information and he said he wasnt available and refused to tell me when I could get in contact with him. He said the best he could do was take my information down and put it in a box for the owner to look at the next time he comes to the store. I left my contact information with said manager so I will wait on phone call from owner.

Golden corral used to be a favorite place for my family. Havent been into one for years (geography) and this location ruined GC for me. Salad bar out of many common items, dirty floors,tables, and dishes everywhere . Had to go through 5clean plates to find one that didnt have food on it. Hopefully theres another location near by

Not bad. Typical buffet. They let customers serve themselves but gave each customer a plate and a glove for covid protection. New glove and new plate everytime you went back to the buffet. Food was alright and wait staff was there for your drinks. Not bad. Kinda pricey but hey its all you can eat.

I always love their food buffet line! They are practicing COVID-19 safety measures by having the cooks serve the food at the buffet. The table servers are sanitizing the booths and tables after each customer, so I was really pleased with this. It was all you can eat ribeye on Saturday night.

This has always been a favorite to eat at but this time I was sadly disappointed. The service was awful and very slow and The food tasted old and watery and it was only 530pm. They were very busy so maybe they were short handed. Just hope next time its better

Food was constantly refreshed, so what I wanted was always available. Lines for items werent too bad. Could use a little organization and maybe a bit faster cleaning dirty tables. Service from our waitress was great. Dont get rolls at the buffet line just ask to have some brought over. They are warmer and better that way.

Well the food had no tast idk how they cook it but they have never tasted it themselves Im sure or they would be embarrased to serve it the only thing that was good was the service always taking care of our table in the end I was ripped off on the meal and the guaranteed quarter machines did even huge me anything all I wanted was a good time.
