This morning, a nurse at my doctor’s office was not successful at drawing blood. I am afraid of needles and was not about to let her keep poking around my veins. Went to DLO on Lee, self-checked in then waited in my car to avoid the crowd in the waiting room, half of them wearing masks improperly. The wait was supposed to be 23 minutes but 1.5 hour had gone by and I had not been called in. Found out there was another DLO on Gore so I gave it a try. It was a great experience! No wait, the lab technician was professional, competent, pleasant, and did his job quickly and painlessly. I wish I had asked for his name to give him a shout out.

Great experience and at 1/3 rd of the cost

Went to this dlo to get labs done for my juvenile son. The dark headed gal working there said “they do not take written orders, they have to be faxed to them from the doctors office or be in their system,” but she wouldn’t look in the system to see if his name was in there. Called the doctors office the next day to have the lab orders faxed (the doctors office had never heard of such about not taking written orders) to this particular dlo and gave them their phone number and fax number. Went back to this dlo and the same gal said there wasn’t any fax received. Called the doctors office back and confirmed that the orders were faxed several hours before. Dlo still says they haven’t received them and takes zero initiative To help find anything out. She acts like it was a bother that we walked in the door. Two weeks later and we still don’t have any labs and had to push the doctors appointment up another month.
