Prompt, courteous service as one should expect from a dealership.My wife was in Tyler for a doctors appointment when her car broke down so she took it to Jack O Diamonds. I have a 2009 Town Car which has always been maintained and serviced by our local Ford Lincoln Mercury (FLM) dealership so I am accustomed to paying a premium price for the work.FLM has a suggested list price on their parts which is suggested but legally the dealer is free to charge whatever they desire otherwise it would be considered price fixing. I was disappointed to find that Jack O Diamonds charges 50% more that FLMs suggested list price for parts.In this instance were talking less than $100.00 additional cost to me but it did cost them 3 stars on a review and it left a bad impression with me. The creation of a higher list parts price was a common practice by foreign car dealerships in the 1970s but this is the first time Ive encountered this in over 40 years. Buyer beware if you need expensive parts and they pull these shenanigans.Their labor charges are high, as one would expect, but they are in line with other dealers.

This was the most delightful experience I have ever had purchasing a new car. I dreaded going in by myself, expecting the high pressured sales people and all of the games that most dealerships play - This dealership plays no games, there is no pressure and everyone is extremely nice and helpful. I started looking about a week ago when I thought I totaled my car, because I didnt want to be rushed when it was declared totaled by the insurance company. I stopped by the dealership, Sam came right out to greet me, and he was so nice... he was extremely patient, he didnt try to push me into going ahead and buying the car - nothing... I felt like he was really there to help me. We shared contact information and I left. I contacted a couple of other dealerships, they were what I expected, so even with promises of better pricing and interest (which I doubt they could beat the deal I received) I just couldnt bring myself to go through the stress of it all, so I came back to Sam at Jack O Diamonds Honda! Then, being indecisive as usual for me, I decided to add a couple of things to the car right before signing, they said no problem and, Dustin had it ready to go the very NEXT morning exactly when they said they would. Keep in mind I had already changed the color and packages I wanted about 3 times, so when I say that Sam was patient, he WAS patient! Then we moved on to Finance, I thought for certain this is where the ball would drop, but it didnt, Jeff was great too! After checking with my Credit Union, State Farm and some other offers I had received, Jeff McMichael, through Honda Finance, was able to beat them all. He was also very patient, explained everything to me, gave me his opinions when I asked and let me make my own decisions. There is nothing I would change about my experience at Jack O Diamonds Honda. Thank you Sam and Jeff, you are the best! I have already been referring you!

I had a great experience at the Jack Diamond Honda dealership in Tyler Texas. I bought a brand new 2018 Honda Accord 2.0 T sport sedan. The Sales person, Mr. Robert Lee,, is very helpful in getting us a good deal. He’s very knowledgeable and is never pushy. I will go back to the same dealership, hopefully with the same sales person in the future if I need to buy another Honda vehicle.

Went in today for an oil change and while my wife and I were there met a great salesman named Lance. We started taking and he was so pleasant and you would think you had known him your whole life. We test drove the CRV and really liked it and the features it had. Lance ask if we would like to put some numbers together and everything went so smooth. Took my car in for basic oil change. Arrived at 1:10 pm & car was ready to go at 1:36. Was surprised that it was done so quickly, but I paid & went on. When I arrived home, I decided to check under the hood. Oil on dipstick was dirty & oil had been dripped all over the engine (fire hazard). Very disappointing. Service in the past has very good. Not sure what happened today. :(

Overall the experience was very pleasant. We went to the dealership because we were having troubles with my wife’s older car. Needless to say the morning was rather rough. Jordan met us at the door when arrived, and he showed us what Honda had to offer. We had to leave to think about the options, but we’re back in about an hour to purchase our first Honda. So I am a USAA member and used the car buying service. I usually deliver my terms, then walk out if their not met. So my terms were well within range and they didnt budge, but I wanted the vehicle. I purchased a certified preowned vehicle. Which means it had been inspected and bestowed that honor. The sale was hasty, I figured a 2018 vehicle wouldnt have any problems. Well it did, the right rear door had been removed and repaired. The molding wasnt even put back right and what clued me in was the way it shut, not factory. Are they gonna do anything? Nope, so sorry. Salesman even said hey youve had it 28 days. Like Im an idiot and maybe I did something to it. So buyer beware. Check that car out and dont expect to much.

We owned a 2007 Lincoln Navigator till this year. When we moved back to Tyler we used this dealership for all service. Scheduled maintenance and even had it towed there a couple of times. Each time they were extremely professional and fair priced. Even gave a discount the last time I had it towed in just for being a repeat customer.We finally had enough with the 11 year old vehicle and decided it was time for a new one. We went in early this year looking to purchase a brand new 2018 Lincoln Navigator. There were two on the lot but at that price point I was very particular as to what I want (white and fully loaded). We worked with he salesman to get one on order. He was very honest up front about the price and timeline as this new style was/is in high demand. While Ive purchased many vehicles, I had never ordered one before. John and his team were extremely helpful. They explained every thing in detail, answering all my questions/calls and provided at lease one update a week on the status and expectations. I believe it took about 6 weeks to come in and the process was stress free! Im ordering a new truck right now and I can not say the same for that dealership (different brand).What sparked this review was the events of today. When leaving the store the 2 month old navigator abruptly engage the parking break then the maintenance light came on. I received a notification on my phone immediately that there was powertrain system failure. It would not go into drive or reverse. I used the Lincoln app on my phone to quickly get a tow truck in-route (fast and courteous process). I then called the salesman and left a voicemail. I used facebook to contract his assistant who called me within 5 minutes. She said she would call the General Manager and get back to me. The salesman called back within 10 minutes and also said he would reach out to the GM as he and his assistant were both out of town for the weekend. Mind you, this is on Sunday and we all know dealerships are completely closed on Sundays. They both text that the GM would be giving me a call and he did about 5 minutes later. He offered to come pick me up and take me to get vehicle we could use until service could provide a loaner. I told him that was not necessary as my wife had brought my truck and we were on our way to unload what I bought from Sams then come back to meet the tow truck driver. He said he would have a vehicle waiting for us when we got there with the tow truck. Tow driver was unable to get it in neutral and was afraid it would need to be drug on to the truck. He said lets try disconnecting the battery and see if that releases the brake. He did that and the vehicle seemed fine with no maintenance light. I was able to drive it to the dealership, still wanting them to look it over, and the tow truck followed just in case. When we got there the temporary vehicle was waiting where the GM said it would be. Not something used but a brand new MKX with 20 miles on it.I dont blame the dealership for the issue with the new navigator. Things happen and it is probably fine after reseting the computer through the battery. I do greatly appreciate the salesman and assistant answering the phone and the GM for calling and making sure we were not inconvenienced any further today. I have no doubt the service department will take a good look at it and fix anything necessary. If I could buy all of my vehicles from Jack O Diamonds and have them serviced there I would! I would personally recommend them and already have to many friends and family.

I have had the privilege of having James Cole sell me two cars. The first was a 2014 CRV in December 2013. On December 26th, I traded that one in on a 2018 Honda Fit. Wow.. They were the most unprofessional about contacting me. Every email was prefabbed and wasnt even filled in to make it look personalized. PROOFREAD! They sent me 3 thank you emails before they acutally responded to my inquiry. Then after they realized I was annoyed and wasnt going to use their business, they started calling me every day and sending me more unfinished emails. What a joke. I would rather just have my car break at this point. I ended up driving to Dallas 2 hours away to have my recall serviced.

In November 2013 I decided to trade in a car and buy a new CRV EXL. I looked online found the car I wanted and told the salesman where I was already approved for financing. Everything was fine until I went to pick up the car and sign the paperwork. The whole time that I was speaking to the salesman I was referring to a 2014 with the entertainment system. When I went to pick up the car I was told that no I was getting a 2013 and they could not do the price that I wanted on the 2014. Keep in mind the price difference was only about 1000 so not much difference. The salesman basically told me that I could walk away from the deal and never did anything to try to fix the problem. I should have walked away but went ahead and went through with it and got the car. A few days later I received a call from a lady with customer service to see how my experience went and I told her about the issue. Her only fix to the issue was giving me a free oil change and that was not much of a fix.As of this week I decided that I would trade my car in on a bigger car and try to get lower payments. I looked at a used Honda Pilot. The day I went to look at the car I dealt with a salesman that I just bought a brand new car from at a different dealership back in September. He talks to me for a few minutes and then has me go on a test drive with a new salesman. I talk to the original salesman that afternoon and never hear from him again. Even after sending him an email he NEVER returns my calls or my email. I surely thought that having done business with him in the past that he would continue to work with me. The salesman was real positive when I was at the dealership that he was sure we could do the deal. Then the next day I am told that they want me to pay 100 more than I am paying now which is not my goal. I tell them that I want to take the car to my mechanic before they run my credit because the Honda Pilot has been included in a class action lawsuit. They insist on running my credit first before I even have the vehicle checked over by my mechanic. It is pointless to run my credit if I am not sure that I even want the vehicle.Needless to say it is very doubtful that I will ever buy another car from this dealership. It is unfortunate because the second salesman that I spoke with was very kind and helpful. I feel like I got the raw end of the deal. Just be very cautious while dealing with this dealership.
