I lived here for 9 years, and would definitely return if I needed an apartment in Tyler again. The complex is pretty quiet, clean, and regularly maintained. Staff has always been quick to respond to maintenance requests, even with changes in personnel over the years. Management is good about letting you know by text or email if there is going to be any major maintenance that requires something like water being shut off to your building for awhile.I did have a couple of minor negatives, but these are likely unavoidable in apartment living. First of all, the rent increases every year. While the rent and increases arent exorbitant, it might be an issue if you live on a fixed or limited income. Secondly, there is some outside noise that comes in through windows and exterior walls. I often worked shifts that required sleep during the day, and would have to wear ear plugs to sleep on lawn maintenance days, or if some of the neighbor kids were playing outside. With that being said, I rarely heard anything from the attached apartments in my building.Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Hunters Glen, and would recommend it to others.

My husband and I have lived at this apartment for the past year and have nothing but good things to say about the community and apartment. The apartment was very clean upon our move in and our neighbors are only kind. The grounds are very well taken care of and the management team is always available through text/phone/walk in. Any maintenance problem that we had was easily fixed in a timely and efficient manner. The apartment also has extremely affordable rent with great quality that you just can’t find anywhere else in east Texas.

I have lived here before many years ago and it was amazing and very professional. I chose this place again as my residence and it still is amazing and professional. Angela is awesome and is always on top of everything! I love her! I would highly recommend this place.

I have been living at Hunters Glen for 6 years now and absolutely love it. The property is beautifully maintained and management is friendly and easy to work with. Maintenance requests are timely tended to. Its not perfect, but an apartment complex has never felt more like home than here.

Made this my home for 3 years. If you are looking for some peace and quiet, this is the place to be. I enjoyed my time here. If there was any issue, it was corrected promptly. Once instance, I reported an issued at 1pm and it was fixed within a couple of hours where Ive heard it can take days to weeks at other apartment complexes. Maintenance did a great job keeping the property look clean. Management was professional and friendly. Id definitely recommend to anyone.

My wife and I have lived at Hunter’s Glen for a year and we absolutely loved it. Management is extremely friendly and on top of things. We didn’t have any problems with anything inside the apartment breaking down or not working. The community at HG is peaceful and everyone is friendly. If we did not have to move out of Tyler, we would no doubt renew our lease.-Blayne Hayes

I came for a tour, and experienced a very rude and impersonal assistant manager who gave us a tour. She was a big reason we chose another place to live. Just.. cold and frustrating. The property and rooms looked nice for the price (although the lighting and windows were very poor), but I couldnt imagine that lady helping me in a difficult situation, and refuse to put my family in a place managed by someone I dont feel would care for us outside of policy. They need to hire someone else to represent them as a company, because capitalism makes me go somewhere I feel respected and welcomed by staff.Nice place, but staff made it seem very impersonal.

I have lived in this complex for nearly 4 years and I cant say that I have much to complain about except the appliances are really out of date! It really has been a pleasant experience. I really didnt have a problem with any of my neighbors and even though it isnt gated, I feel safe here. Unless their policy has changed, they only rent to people 21 and up and cable is included in the rent (and they dont have pet rent! PLUS!) The management team is pleasant and quick to get things taken care of. The units are spacious and open. I have a 1 bedroom unit thats 910 sq.ft. and I pay $725 (but they are going up to $750 which is still a GREAT price for the area). The lawns are well taken care of and they have started making upgrades to the units. The location is great, on the South side of Tyler and within walking distance of a Rose Rudman Park. The mall and other entertainment venues are in close driving proximity. There arent a lot of reviews about this place but if you are looking to move to the Tyler area, consider taking a look at Hunters Glen apartments! They have 3 pools but no gym facility. The unit is close to SEVERAL gyms (and the park) so its not a big deal. Oh. and since its not a HUGE complex, parking is never really a problem and your friends dont have to jump through hoops to park. Open parking!

My husband and I are so sad to be leaving this place behind and heading to Dallas permanently. If we could pick up this apartment complex and take it with us, we would! We love how spacious the apartments are, we love the well kept grounds and the pools, the back patio with the wooden door that leads out to the parking lot (really helps when youre taking groceries inside) the open parking is really great too...I feel safe in this neighborhood, its really well lit up at night and I can walk my dog without any issues at all. We have really friendly and quiet neighbors too! I do have to say this location would be amazing if there werent so many school zones but thats not too big of an issue. Also, the appliances are a little outdated.

Wow... I am surprised about this apartment complex credentials. I am moving to Tyler, TX for school, of course, I dont have a job yet. So, this is what the rental consultant told me to have: the rent is $775 a month times 3 (because you must have a job that makes 3 times the amount of rent payment) times 12 months (the lease term is 1 year) in my savings account. She came down to I must have $27,900. 00 in my saving in order to get the unit. She also said you get what you paid for. You are welcome to go elsewhere.I started to think with that kind of credentials why would I want to live at at the this complex? Trust me, I have lives in better complexes with less credentials and the communities were nice.

Great Place to live! Although we were very spoiled with the previous management (whom we miss very much) we still love our home Hunters Glen. The grounds are kept up very well, the folks who live here are sweet and quite as well. My husband & I have been here for 2 years and plan to stay for much longer.

This is one of the worst apartments In Tyler. I lived here at one point and know the riff raff that comes and goes. The new management team are extremely rude and have no manner of being professional. I would never recommend anyone I know to live here. If the staff was better and actually did what they need to for the tenants in a timely manner my review might be different.

Jan Ill have you know that I paid my rent and dues on time, maintained my apartment, and received my deposit back in full. In fact, when my wife was doing the last walk through, the employee had asked if we had hired someone to do the cleaning. My experience has nothing to do financially. The lack of privacy, urgency, or respect to the residents is my problem. My neighbor, who had lived at this complex for many years, came over to my place several times concerned with the changes that you were making. Obviously not positive changes or otherwise we would of looked the other way. Needless to say, I do not recommend this apartment complex. The management at this place is truly awful. I lived here through my 12 month lease with my wife. At first things were great when Jami and Noelle were here, but when the new management took over things took a turn. They made changes that I had not agreed upon initially moving here. They are not very nice to talk to either. Not to mention the million times my wife and I requested pest control and nothing was taken care of. There were ants in my kitchen and spiders in my bedroom. Not okay at all. If you are considering this place think twice before signing with them.

Really not thrilled with how I was treated today, the office management treats their clients like dogs or just people with money. Wouldnt recommend them to anyone, especially since this is a place youd like to call home. Its anything but that, I promise.

The newest management at Hunters Glen are the most rude unprofessional disgusting individuals at an apartment complex. These people have no heart they have no soul they are just purely White evil trash. Whoever is above the new management at Hunters Glen needs to truly think about their tenants and the fact that this place is supposed to be a home. When talking to these individuals I literally feel disgusted and judged no matter what the subject. I have lived at this residence for many many years and these people will make me leave this place so I can feel at home again. This is sad. Trust me if you meet Jan or hear her talk you will understand. I would say worse things but all I can say is if you want to feel at home go somewhere else then Hunters Glen. Jan is the worst manager Ive ever had at an apartment complex and because of her I will tell everyone that I know at work on Facebook on Twitter on every one of these review websites how horrible she truly is
