I heard SCREAMING coming from one, I would not live here, you’ll have no peace quiet to enjoy what you paying for.

Double D Rentals is a great rental company. I have been in one apt. for over 2 years now. Any maintenance issues that have come up have been addressed professionally and in a timely manner. There are regular AC filter changes, regular extermination services as well as regular rotation of fire extinguishers provided to tenants. My experience with the office has been positive and Darlene leans in to make sure the properties are managed well. She has a lot of experience in the field and is exactly the personality type I want to work with keeping a roof overhead.Is anything in the world perfect? No. But there are a lot of options out there for you to have a place to live and Double D provides realistic solutions for the working class. Attentive maintenance, effective staff and affordable rates have worked well for me and mine that I provide for.

I’m so upset that I renewed my lease with this company. Worst renter experience I’ve ever had in life. Will never do business here again. They are unprofessional and inconsiderate. Maintenance is horrible. If you have any issues they will not fix it. Currently have a ruined mattress & a hole in my ceiling that apparently will be tended to when they feel like it. Woman in the office is very ill mannered and is of no assistance. I’ve asked to speak to manager on several occasions for multiple issues and she won’t relay the message.

Worst place weve ever rented. Dont waste your time or money on these people. They dont follow their own rules. They will kick you out without notice. Theyve never cleaned our AC units and if you have a problem with something else good luck getting it fixed correctly.

I’ve been renting a studio apartment in one of DDR’s downtown properties for eight months now. I have to say—in truth and with full seriousness—that I’m more than a bit shocked at the undeservedly low Google ratings some people have given to DDR. I had to check twice to make sure I was reading correctly, because I absolutely cannot for the life of me understand why or how anyone could ever possibly claim that Double D Rentals is anything but an outstanding, professional, well-run, responsive, and generally praiseworthy company. I don’t work for them, nobody paid me to write this, and I’m saying all of it of my own accord. Why? Because this company deserves much better ratings. I suspect that the low ratings people gave were probably due to crazy, angry former tenants who have a chip on their shoulder. (And I’d bet THEIR ratings be even lower if DDR could rate THEM!) Look, the bottom line is that these are good, kindhearted, sensible people and, at least in my experience and on the property where I rent, things are good. They’ve been good for eight months. I couldn’t ask for a more ideal rental situation and I mean that with every fiber of my being.

I have been renting from Double D Rentals for over 4 years.Very caring and understanding if I needed to pay late, plumbing repairs and just make me welcomed and appreciated as a person and tenant. Thanks Darlene and Staff.🙏🏽❤️

Ive been renting from here for a year now and though theres been a small bug problem in the summer, they spray a healthy amount which helps curb the problem. When our upstairs neighbors pipe leaked and damaged our wall, they got it fixed the very next day. The best thing about them is they found out my SO is trans and documented his chosen name in our file. They always make sure to call him by his name and pronoun. They didnt have to do that but they did and its really nice that they did.

No Hot Water

I had the misfortune of renting from this company a few years ago. The property was not well kept, and when I would report a problem, the office would take literally weeks to fulfill the work order. The final straw was when the roof started leaking in the kitchen area. I called countless times. Then it snowed and the whole section of the roof caved in! I could literally see outside! They STILL did not come fix it! I would not recommend renting from this place to anyone. They want their money on time, but refuse to maintain the property.

Darlene is the rudest person Ive ever met in my life. She will hang up on you if you confront her about a problem. She is literally crazy, Do not rent from this company !!

It was good for a while, but my health has improved since I moved --far fewer and smaller cockroaches. I got help from an attorney and Neighborhood Services when life got tense.

Great service! Always prompt to fix anything that goes wrong, Darlene goes out of her way to be a servant to the people, this is because she is a good Christian women who cares about others and their families.

They are horrible. I will NEVER go to them ever again. They denied us because we r a Interracial couple. They basically told us also that we don’t work and that we don’t make enough money to rent from them! They also thought that me and husband were running from the law because of what we r as a couple!!

Horrible customer service and bad renting experience. They wouldnt fix the rat problem and then started to act funny when I decided not to renew my lease.

Shady business practices. Disputes will likely result in the need to take legal action against this company.
