I am so excited to be living here!! April has been so great. I’ve had bad experiences when starting a new lease. But she has been so patient and has worked out every detail as needed. Hands down the best leasing experience I’ve ever had!! She needs a raise haha! Can’t wait to move in!!!
Honest review: Moved here from another apartment complex here in Tyler, with my first experience being very poor it was a nice change to get moved into a place that care for their residents as much as Ive seen here. The moving process was easy with the help from April Harper, I bothered her with many questions and issues I had based on my past experiences with my previous apartment complex where I stayed and she stayed extremely professional and patient. She even walked the apartment a few hours before my room mates and I moved in and put in a work order for some issues she saw and gave me a copy when I picked up my keys, sure enough just a couple days later their on-site mechanic stopped by and checked on the few issues there were and got them handled. You cant find such service anywhere in the apartment community, truly a blessing. I am extremely happy to call this place my home!
We had a great experience in leasing the stone brook apartments . April Harper assisted us from day one till today for everything. Her response was always prompt and informative. She made our apartment move in very quick and easy, while moving here she welcomed us warmly !!!Thanks to stonebrook apartments !!Excited to be living here !!
I just moved out last week (moved out of state for family reasons). I lived at Stonebrook for about 3 years in total. Maybe my experience is out of the ordinary, but I have no major complaints. I had quiet neighbors, the staff was always very responsive to my maintenance requests (there is even a portal online to fill out requests, which I like since I am anti-social lol), and I just got a quote back for my deposit after moving out and I am getting most of it back. My rates did go up over the years, but I would not call them outrageous or inflated- just keeping up with cost of living. Megan at the front desk was always really nice to me, she even called yesterday to confirm my forwarding address. If I had any complaints it would be that the front gate has never worked, and I think the units might need better insulation as my electricity rates were fairly high (I kept the unit at a very reasonable temperature). Overall I would recommend this property to a friend- it was close to my work and had no major flaws for me. Hope this helped.
I’ve been living at Stonebrook since 2019, and recently upgraded to a two bedroom. The staff are kind and make Stonebrook feel like home. The girls in the office are always happy to help with any questions or concerns you might have, and maintenance has always been professional and timely. The units are clean, well kept, and many are upgraded. I don’t see myself leaving Stonebrook anytime soon.
Application process went super smoothly thanks to April! Awesome customer service and all staff i’ve talked to have been so kind. Excited to be living here :)
Excellent experience with Stonebrook staff. April was very helpful with the application process. Very professional staff. Great customer service.
I’m moving to Tyler next month and I’ve had a wonderful experience with obtaining an apartment at Stonebrook! April has been extremely helpful and really went the extra mile to assist me.
Stonebrook Apartments is a great place to live. It’s been my home for 3 years now and I love it! The community is kept well maintained everyday, it’s nice, quiet and friendly. I don’t have any pets. But, I can tell that many of my neighbors have dogs or cats. They are super respectful and friendly. I have not had any issues whatsoever. I live on the third floor and I love it because it is very independent and I love my balcony too! Also, every time I have to put a maintenance request, they pick up my request right away and their staff is super professional and respectful and I love that too. The office is super friendly and helpful. They’re very supportive. I love the location of these apartments too and it’s very convenient for everywhere I need to go. If you’re considering this place to live, you will not regret it. They have different choices to pick from and they’re very structured and professional. Plus, it’s a safe place to live and very nice. 5 stars for Stonebrook Apartments!
I have enjoyed living at Stonebrook. Everyone is so nice and helpful, especially April. Anytime I have called the office with a problem, it is taken care of quickly. I am glad i chose Stonebrook as my temporary home
Great place to live! Meghan and April were very helpful. Its a little more expensive than other apartments in the Tyler area but its worth it.
The staff is amazing, especially April who made our application process super easy.
April was so helpful and accommodating! Overall great experience.
The leasing agents very extremely patient and helpful during the whole process!
My family have lived here for 7 years and are very happy here. Maintenance staff is here and they are quickly responsive. The apartment is located in the good school district-WHITEHOUSE ISD. There are many shops and restaurants around here.
Very nice and clean place to call home. Extremely quiet and the staff is very considerate
A beautiful place and the service is amazing! April is fantastic!
I dont know if these apartments are just poorly built or what but the upstairs neighbors sound like elephants running around most of the day and late into the night, like until 1am most nights. We have complained at least 5 or 6 times and it still continues. Stonebrook is not worth the 1200.00 dollars we pay a month. UPDATE: After months that we have complained, I received a call from that Manager, that we have never seen, telling me that its just normal living noise. Im just not sure that running and jumping to where the pictures on our walls move, (and yes we have taken that video to the office) is normal living noise. I really wish I could say something nice about Stonebrook but I cant.
Ive lived at Stonebrook for 2 years now and I absolutely love it. The maintenance and front office staff are always friendly and helpful. I have access to a fitness center, pool, and several other amenities. Even have my own private garage and storage building on site. Theyre as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. So glad to call this place home.
I have a plethora of complaints about this complex and unfortunately management does nothing about any of them. The living space is nice but overpriced and they take every chance to get as much money out of you as they can.
Found awesome maintenance staff and were very quick when we had an emergency. Office has been very helpful whenever we have needed anything. Portal system here is very convenient to pay rent and send messages. Chose Stonebrook to be near UT and can recommend it highly.
Lived here over two years Melissa and Megan made our stay enjoyable we will defiantly recommend these apartments to other. All the staff is friendly and prompt! Few with maintenance is really good as well!
The staff and maintenance here are amazing whenever weve needed anything. Their dog park is one of the reasons we moved here. Its actually a great size for our lab to run around and play.
This apartment complex and staff are amazing. Each and every manager in the office will be far more than willing to help each and everyone of the tenets. I’m glad to call this place home
These apartments are extremely overcharged for their low quality. First week living here, I had around 4 to 5 maintenance issues starting with the bathroom sink being clogged to the shower not working, along with, what they call Asian beetles, infesting the apartment. There is no grace period and there is a $75 charge for every day your late paying. They only offer a year lease and forget about breaking your lease no matter how far into you are because they want to charge you $2500. I wish I wouldve listened to the reviews on here before I signed my lease. Please dont make the same mistake I did.
My daughter lives here and her air conditioning has been out for a week, in August in Texas. My first call to them I was advised that a part was on order and they would call my daughter the same day and let her know their progress. No phone call and it is still not repaired. When I called them back I was told they could not discuss it with me? like another review I saw, save your time and money. live elsewhere!
I love living at Stonebrook Apartments. Everyone in the office is so helpful and friendly. I’m so glad to call this place home.
I have made complaints about loud neighbors upstairs, for about 4months now and management has done nothing. They seem to not care about anyone getting peace & quiet, is there a number for corporate office to call to make a major complaint.
I was interested in these apartments and went to look at their floor plans and the lady in the front had asked me where I currently lived at, I told her, she laughed and made a snide remark. After that I was no longer interested, belittling people is not a good way to get new residents.
This complex is lucky they are the nearest apartments to Tyler within Whitehouse school district or they wouldn’t really be in demand. I’d suggest Haverhill Place in Tyler. They are FAMILY owned (not a corporate umbrella), way nicer, and work with you when you need to break lease or leave.Haverhill Place:Your contract goes monthly after you hit 12 months because they know their residents are trying to buy homes or move to rent homes. Only requires a 2 month notice (no fees)Stonebrook: Read the contract fully. There is no way out and they are getting their money.$2500 to early terminate with a requirement of 60 days starting when the $2500 is paid. They will get $4k out of you before you can leave. Unless you die or go to military. LolPros - decent layout, near everythingCons - read the rest of the reviews haha
The physical apartment is ok. However its everything else that makes this place awful. The rent is too high for things to be so lackluster around here. Parking in the back is almost non existent, there are lights in the parking lot, but they never work, always pitch black at night or early morning. People want to feel safe. Asked them about it and all they say is that theyre going to fix it. You are forced to get DISH cable, but they picked the cheapest option, which is use 4 dishes for the ENTIRE complex. Some days you channels, the next you dont, sometimes there is no tv at all.The foundation on some of these apartments are lacking. I stay on the first floor of a building that at the bottom of a hill, if it rains hard, my bedroom floor soaks with water. Thats not all, management decided to arbitrarily change my lease date to force me to stay longer and pay them more money. Was it a day or two? Nope, she added FIFTEEN DAYS to it. Now granted, I signed it electronically, but I didnt pay attention to the dates because those are always consistent. I asked about it and the manager said she didnt want everyone moving out at the same time. SMH. People are leaving this place left and right. Lastly, I just woke up to a text message saying we can no longer pay rent in the office like everyone has allowed since the beginning of time. Now we have to pay online where there is a $25 fee. From the street, these apartments look amazing, but deep down inside theyre nothing nice. Save your money go elsewhere like most of the people are doing around here now.
Great place to live!!! Large apartments and the grounds are always clean... The office staff is amazing as well!!
Love living here, its a great place.
$1035 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath..lived there for year and by all means they are money hungry...$200 pet deposit and 20 bucks for pet rent a month. by all means they dont mind calling you when you have a pet and have not had time to paid the pet deposit but when it comes down to repairs or sending you a letter after you move to see how much you o them after you move elsewhere they are terrible... I moved out in April and had not received a letter in the mail after giving them the forwarding address when I turned in my notice.. I go back to the apartment complex after i move out to see what I o them come to find out they sent the letter but it was returned because they wrote the wrong address.. The only reason why I went back to the property was because I got an alert on my credit report mentioning Stonebrook apartments sent a letter to collections for money...no calls, no emails or anything before sending me to collections..Oh by the way.. Remember that pet deposit and pet rent come to find out that it does not do anything for your apartment. As part of the damages we had to pay for the replacement of new carpet and the epoxy that helped the carpet stick on the floor because it did not live up to the four year time frame they have for the carpet... MAKES you wonder what exactly the pet deposit and rent are for... Oh by the way.. I was ready to move within 3 months of moving in.. AC broke several times, Refrigerator broken 3 times... Only paid me $50 bucks for the damaged food.. oh dont buy their fake stuff when and if you are interested in renting there...Also.. lets say you have to break your lease because of job relocation... Be ready to pay 2900 just to break the lease... THEY ARE SOME FAKE as ppl there.. I moved in April 2016 during that time Houston was under water because of heavy rains.. my electricity company is located in Houston and before signing the lease I had informed them about the situation and that my electricity company mentioned it might take longer than expected to transfer.. they said it was fine and they understood. so as soon as I sign the lease the management there at stonebrook informs me they will only have the power on for 2 days...So many issues...Im glad I left... Will not recommend
Please save your money. I had to break my lease because of school and I had to pay a ridiculous amout. On top of that, I thought there were lady bugs in my apartment which turned out to be asian bettles and they said they cannot get anyone up here to spay something until Thursday. All they were able to do was vaccumm them up. Very disappointed in where I chose to live when I first moved to Tyler.
This is the worst apartment we have rented. If you are planning to lose your $2,500 and your $200 deposit, just choose it since we lose almost that much money for the renting. This apartment company has very selfish and strict rule for early termination even you live there for several years. No any lenient policy is allowed, which is quite stupid and ridiculous when you compare with lots of other friendly renting apartments over different states. This apartments offer almost no options for you for the early termination of lease even you have unavoidable reasons, e.g., you only have to lease one year, if you choose 9 months the rent rate will hike $200 per month, which is almost unacceptable. Although the building appearance looks okay, the high electricity charge (you dont have other selections for the electricity company) and mold are two other issues. Overall this apartment is really not friendly and kind to their renting customers especially the lady manager. If they dont change their stupid policy, fewer and fewer people will rent their apartments.
No problems in two years! I love this place!
Great apartments and staff!
Do not move here. Horrible management. Believe me save yourself time and money.
THE WORST PLACE
