Both of the guys that come and serviced our washing machine were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were clean and took great care to make not make a mess. Why the 3 star review??? Well it took almost 4 weeks for Sears to get the repair done. In the interim we purchased a new washing machine from Lowes. Maybe the parts were on back order, and maybe they are busy; but a month of not being able to do laundry with a machine that is not even two years old is a little ridiculous.

Once I finally had a service repair expert in my house (Sears online kept telling me things to try on my own), the service was fantastic. The man was from Lloyds. Not only was he knowledgeable, he was very personable. He cleaned under my washer/dryer for me. He ended up making two visits. The first diagnosed the problem and the second was to make the actual repair. He only had my home phone and although I called Sears Repair to please let him know my cell number as I had someone waiting to be there while I was at work, he did not get the number. He left a message and when I returned the call late in the day, he was extremely accommodating. He came out at the end of his day. He did not appear to be rushed or upset with the phone mix-up. He made the repair, suggested some maintenance on another appliance, and left my laundry room looking like hed never been there at all. I will definitely be requesting Lloyds whenever I need Sears Appliance Repair. I will also be recommending Lloyds to friends who do not have a Sears Protection Plan. He made the entire experience pleasant.

Mike didnt take long to fix the JENN-AIR stove top. He found the problem that was causing the shocking in a couple of minutes and ordered a new burner unit. Fortunately the pump for our Maytag clothes washing machine came that morning and he was willing to fix that, too. He is a hard worker and was sweating by the time he finished the stove top and washing machine. Hes the kind of man that is dedicated to providing service first.

Steve did a fabulous job in explaining how the water softener works. Very patient and understanding. I am not happy with Sears at all it has been 2 months that I have been trying to get a technician to my home to fix the water softener. Also, their trucks never come in with orders the day they are supposed to. I would NOT recommend Sears to any of my friends

After 4 service calls, we finally got a tech that knew what was really causing the problems with our dishwasher...it took more than a year.This guy knew exactly what to do, finally...he was great!!All of the techs should have his knowledge.

Actual Sears repairman didnt come out, it was a subcontracted business. Sears DIDNT warn me or ask me about that. Took 1 MONTH to get a seal for my dryer door. When they actually got it, they came right in and replaced it. But left orange colored glue all over the inside of the dryer door. I had to scrape it off before I ran the dryer. I didnt want it staining my clothes.

Mine was not a repair, it was my annual Preventative Maintenance service. I had four appliances checked over and cleaned, was given some great advice on how to better use my appliances, and it was all done quickly and efficiently. This service is the main reason we buy Sears appliances!

I was able to do three loads and then the washer quit again and now they say I have to wait till the 19th its almost 2 1/2 weeks without a washer I think this is a little bit ridiculous and we are in a rule area and due to experience I know there is always time to stop I believe your repairman need better schedules you cannot send a repairman hundred miles in One Direction and then have him come back and go 100 miles in the next direction and the people that do that appointment do not no the area at all and you need to send The regular service man mine is Gerald and he knows my machine and he always gives good advice sending someone else just delays the repair

The low rating is not because the technician was not professional, neat, and friendly. The low rating is because the range is NOT repaired. The new part was installed but did not repair the problem. The technician set the automatic oven cleaning option (which was the problem), thinking all was well and went on to his next appointment. About 15 minutes later the cleaning clicked off like it had been doing and still does not work. I am concerned that perhaps the expensive part I paid for was not the problem in the first place. I have made an appointment (February 15) to have the technician return and try again.

I waited home all day to get an email at 3pm saying I needed to reschedule my appointment. I called my technician was sick and they told me i had to wait another 9 days before someone else could come fix my washer. Poor customer service!! I should have been called and rescheduled within 24hrs not 9 days later, Idk about everyone else but o cant go 9 days without my washer fixed when I already waited 5 days. Dont go here for repairs huge joke!

It takes to long to get an appointment. When you finally get a serviceman and if you need a part, it takes another week or two weeks to get it repaired. Hate your national call number. No one seems to be able to do anything but set a repair date. I have been disconnected when I insist on talking to someone else who might be able to help me. I can be up to a month or more waiting for the repair. Last December, I was given a rebuilt transmission that got rust all over my clothes. I had to get another appointment and then wait again for a new part to be ordered. Last Wednesday I finally got a part and the machine fixed. Today I will see if it works. Dealing with Sears is tiring and frustrating.

I was very very disappointed the first repair man who came out said the dryer was not working because the front panel needed to be replaced.my mom paid for one over the phone with her credit card, and the repair man did not ask me or her if we wanted to buy an used part or a new one. He sold her a used onewhen the second repair man came to install it, I think he was here for no more than 20-30 minutes, He replaced it and in less than 24 hours the front panel failed to work, When the third repair man came out, he informed me that the first repair man sold my mother and I a USED FRONT PANEL FOR THE DRYER WHICH NEITHER I OR SHE WAS AWARE SHE HAD PURCHASED A USED PRODUCT AND THE REPAIR MAN SAID THAT IS WHY IT ONLY WORKED LESS THAN A DAY. hE SAID IT WAS A 50-50 CHANCE THAT A USED PRODUCT WOULD WORK,He than said it would take another 2 weeks before he could come back out to replace the faulty used panel with a new one, in at that time I ordered a BRAND NEW PANEL. the panel arrived and I am now waiting for another repair man to come out and try to fix it .

First I want to say the repairman that serviced our treadmill was great. He was courteous, speedy and considerate of a meeting I was having at our home at the time.My 1 star rating has to do with the scheduling of the repair. This started in the first half of April this year. We were scheduled for two different appointments which were both cancelled without telling us why. I got on the phone (angrily I have to admit) and talked to three different people (our connection was dropped) who wanted to schedule the next appointment for June 18th which I explained we would not be home for. I thought after dropping us twice surely you could work us in sooner. Sure enough on June 17th as we were traveling through Iowa, I got a call that they would be there on the 18th. I cancelled that one again and they rescheduled on for the 18th of July. It was done on 7/18 by a very good serviceman. It only took 3 months to get the repair done. We are retired people in our 70s and have always actively used the treadmill and were not able to use it at all. Your scheduling system stinks!!!!

Washer leaving water in drum after spin done. Tech tried to tell me if I put tshirts in with jeans it will do that bull crap! So he did nothingCalled for another Tech he said same thing Im had my machine since 07 if a new pump w as put in and it still does it something wrong. This guy said well if it does it just respin. My butt it should not do it. So after 2 techs I still have a problem sears is not what it used to be. They think Ill come buy a new one. Not a chance . I paid for extended warranty. My ice maker in freezer not working right. Tech came . Still not working and putting water all down back and sides this is a new icemaker worse than one I had. It only failed every few days this new one doesnt work at all!! So not happy with Sears techs. Used to be great. They did nothing for me last 3 visits!!

Technician arrived on time and completed the service in about 15 minutes. He arrived at 4:00 and left at 7:00 pm. He stayed for 3 hours chatting with my husband even though he knew he had another client waiting for him? I really felt badly for the client waiting knowing the window time for arrival is no later than 5:00. Very thoughtless and inconsiderate behavior by this technician.

HORRIBLE!!! Most stressing experience I have had in a lifetime for service!!! (Side by Side Refrigerator) In to the 40th day three service calls incorrect parts twice and to be told that the part that is actually needed is no longer available!!! Most calls made by me to Sears Home Services go to the Philippines call center.. Many hours on the phone with dismal results!!I will no longer recommend and/or buy anything from SEARS!!Warning do not use Sears Home Services and/or A&E !!!!!

I ended up having to find a local repair shop and pay for the service out of my pocket and I am still waiting for sears to reimburse me. I originally paid something like $180 for 3 years of in-home service. What a waste. In my opinion, the owe me that money.
