Best and most trusted place to get your car fixed in all of Tuscaloosa!!! The people who work here are the definition of southern hospitality. Ive never had such an enjoyable experience while getting my car fixed (I got to hang out with the sweetest dog in the waiting room). They walked me through what they were doing with my car and made me feel informed. They even fixed something small for free because they noticed it. Cant recommend them enough!

I come here for all my repair needs. The place is run by 2 brothers who have decades of experience. They are extremely honest and always work to get you the best price for what you need. They won’t recommend additional work just to make an extra buck. You can’t go wrong!

The gentleman that help me was very kind. he checked the brakes on a car and saw that I did not need new brakes and he was not trying to sell me something I did not need. I Highly Recommend going here...

The brothers who own the Tuscaloosa Midas, as well as the other employees, were very genuine and helpful throughout the whole process. They took the time to explain the problems I was having with the rear shocks on my car, as well as showed me how worn the shocks were. I would recommend the honest service of this shop to anyone who is deciding where to get car work done.

Although Midas is a national company this one has a mom and pop type vibe to it. theyre extremely honest (which is surprising considering the business), and super professional. Todays visit had me going in and checking why my brakes are constantly squeeling. They took a look at it, and told me they were fine. They didnt try to replace something that wasnt broken, nor did they try to find something else wrong with my car. No charge and on my way within about 30 minutes. Highly recommend them!

Honesty is everything. What I really like about the guys that work there is just that. Over the last several years, I have taken several different vehicles to them. What I love is if the vehicle didn’t need brakes right then, they tell you that. I recommend them completely.

Pretty much got scolded going here. Due to an issue that really wasn’t taken seriously.I won’t be going here again.My family and my boyfriend even drove the car. They still notice the problem.Took it Hyundai and they actually diagnosed the problem.

Shop of honest guys doing an honest days work. Very friendly, very upfront with the costs. There were no hidden charges or surprises. Very efficient work done as quickly as possible. You dont feel like you are being taken advantage of.

Highly recommend.. Quick, wonderful service! Jim was great and took the time to SHOW and explain to me exactly what was wrong with my vehicle. The gentleman in the office (I forgot to ask his name) was was great too.. He took the time to answer my questions and explain everything to me. Will definitely return there next time I need work done.

Took the wifes van in because I had a code on the air flow sensor. Found out they dont have the tools to check for a bad cat converter. At least he was honest up front about it

Very dissatisfied with my experience here. I chose Midas based on the great reviews and went to the shop to get an oil change and maintenance check, because my car had been shaking the last few days. The maintenance tech did not properly check my tires, inform me of the extent of damage to my tires, or give me any answers about the shaking. I had a tire blow on the interstate four days later that caused an incredible amount of damage to my vehicle. First time in my life that I’ve gone to a car shop and they haven’t recommended that I buy new tires, and I seriously wish they had. I wouldn’t go here again.

My daughter is a student at The University of Alabama. We recently purchased her a used vehicle and several months after purchase, she noticed the breaks were suddenly making a squeaking noise. Not knowing complete details of the vehicle history, we thought new break pads might be needed. Midas inspected her break pads and informed her break pads were still in good condition and replacement wasn’t necessary. I’m so grateful for their honesty, as they could have taken advantage of this situation. I recommend this location due to the honesty of this staff. I appreciate Midas for being truthful.
