We brought our Audi A4 in, several dash lights on. Alex spent an entire day diagnosing our problem, with alot of internet research, only to figure out he didnt have the proprietary software needed to fix it. Told us we would need to have Audi deal with it. He wouldnt take any payment for all the time he spent.He is our first stop when we need anything done to our Audi. Honest, quick and timely with news. Does all our needed maintenance too. Highly recommended.

I was having electrical issues with my car, the man who helped me was knowledgeable and resolved the issue quickly. My issue was a simple as a loose ground cable but he offered me more than fair prices if I needed to get a new starter. Completely recommend. Very honest service.

I couldn’t possibly give this place a high enough recommendation! I went in as a new customer for brake pads and a rotor, but also found out I needed a new wheel bearing. I know very little about cars, so it always feels risky to trust a new mechanic. However, I could not have had a better experience here and will be back the next time my car needs repairs.They were extremely knowledgeable and even took the time to explain some of the parts and repairs my car needed. They thoroughly answered all my questions and gave me a better understanding of my car. After discovering the wheel bearing also needed repairs, I even had the opportunity to hear and see for myself the poor condition it was in.I appreciated that they took the time to educate me and allow me to be a part of deciding what to do (rather than pressuring me into more maintenance just for the sake of business). I felt like they truly cared about the condition of my car along with my safety.When I left, my car drove more smoothly and quieter than it has in years! I guess I had gotten used to the quirks it had developed over time. 🙂I honestly felt like I was driving a new car!

Took my 04 bug convertible in with multiple problems after I had it evaluated by another shop. I was told it need sophisticated diagnostic equipment that they did not have to diagnose a check engine light that read intermittent miss. Also had a power window that was not working and an airbag light on. Alex fixed the air bag light immediately and then looked under the hood. He was able to diagnose a leaking hose by sound alone and showed me the leak after just a few moments. He was able to obtain new hose after shopping around for the best price (he was quoted $84 from the dealer and found it online for around $50). He charged me about $400 less than I was expecting to fix the power window. Car is running great now and I couldnt be happier. Extremely pleased I found him as I am no stranger to rip-offs. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!

Honestly the friendliest mechanics I have ever done business with! Im new to owning a VW and I now own my life long dream car, a beetle! I figured it would take 3-4 days to order the part I needed and do the repairs. Alex informed me it would only take one and I was amazed! I live about 35 minutes out of Tulsa and dropped the car off on a Sunday morning, Alex assured me he would go make sure my car was safe behind the fence that afternoon, even though they arent open Sundays. He then verified I would have a ride to me next destination, which I thought was super sweet! When the part they needed wasnt readily available he called me to let me know, but I obviously had no problems waiting another day. I will absolutely be taking my beetle back to them in the future!! I cant be more pleased with the service that I received at Volks by the owner himself, Alex. My 2012 Ford Edge needed a new power steering hose. I will definitely recommend this Auto repair shop if you are looking for one in the area.I needed to get a stripped hex screw removed and replaced with a new (one of the screws that holds the intake manifold). I just got the new screws from the dealer and wanted the stripped one replaced right away. As I was afraid that with time this stripped screw most likely will get jammed and it will make things harder for future. So, it was past 5pm on a sat and most of the auto repair shops were closed or I needed to make appointment for getting a screw replaced. I was driving by and saw Volks Auto and decided to ask them. Luckily, one of the guys named ALEX (who was about to head out for dinner) helped me out right away and didnt charge me anything.

Took my car in for a clutch and flywheel replacement. Great service and the best prices in town, even got my car back as late as 9pm. Very knowledgable and will be going back for anything in the future for sure

I am blown away at the high level of service I got from Alex. I had trouble with the car battery cable and I took my car to a national retail competitor. They said they werent certified to perform that sort of repair because the cable was too deep in the engine. Turned out it was the cable connector. It took no time at all to repair and saved me hundreds of dollars. I will only go to Volks from now on.

I honestly have to say Im very pleased with the work that Chris did on my vw 2007 rabbit. I had several issue with my car that was my small fan, my axle and my fuel pump filter. basically they fixed everything for a very reasonable price and the work was GREAT too. Furthermore, they are very professional and they show you whats wrong the car before doing any work. I recommend this repair shoo 100% to any buddy that needs work on their vw car.

This guy did a great job in less than an hour. I needed my fuel mixture tuned in and he went above and beyond. It enen uped my mpg by 5 miles.

I was impressed with this shop, I would recommend them to others. They were able to diagnose and fix a number of problems on an older model Passat, and went above-and-beyond to repair/replace some missing and broken parts along the way.

06 GTI 2.0. I called 3 different places and was told it would take a couple days if they even could do it at all!! I bought the parts, and Volks offered to pick up my car at my work to do the service on it. Picked it up at 10:30, had it done around 5...... WITH an oil change!! Had me up and going quick, with piece of mind.I had them change out another part I need for my AC unit, I ordered the part, the WRONG part. Didnt stop Volks. They were able to use the old one to modify the new one to work flawlessly!! Going way beyond whats asked. Oh yeah, he knocked it out on my lunch break!! Take your car here, its service as it should be. I highly recommend! Thanks guys!

Last winter, shortly after moving to Tulsa, my 2000 Jetta GLS 2.0 died. I was fortunately able to buy a new vehicle and left the Jetta to rot in my apartment parking lot. Some seven months later, I managed to save what I could and needed the car running. Knowing no one in Tulsa who could recommend a mechanic, I searched the internet for a good VW shop. I called around to several shops and spoke to Alex, the owner and main mechanic of Volks Auto. I explained my cars problems and my budgetary constraints. He seemed very knowledgeable and said he would be willing to work around my budget as much as possible, and more than that, he just seemed like a good guy. He told me to bring the car in, he wouldnt charge me to look at it. I got my Jetta to the shop and he got to work. Alex kept me informed every step of the way. A valve spring had stuck, and the head needed replaced. The old head couldnt be machined, but Alex found a replacement quickly. Even with the added cost of the head and machining, he was still able to keep the cost of the work within the budget we agreed upon. He was thorough and professional and the car runs great. Im totally thrilled to find Volks auto, and will definitely take my cars (my Subaru included) there in the future if they ever need any work...if youre in need of a VW mechanic, you really couldnt do better than taking it to Alex at Volks.
