This place was great. If youre new to longsword fencing try to e-mail them in advance and let them know youll be coming in. I did, and Doug set up a great beginner class for me and a friend. I had a very basic idea of the vague concepts from reading and watching videos but there is no substitute for the hands on training Doug provided.Doug went over all the basics, gave an overview of the historical context, and even kitted us out in loaner gear and had us doing some light fencing by the end of the night. If you have any interest, Id definitely recommend stopping by.

Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable folks. Open to anyone regardless of their level of martial experience. Beginners and veterans alike will learn and have fun doing it. As much sparring as you like or just do lessons.
