This is what we went through and lost for trusting the people here at alvernon manner apartments only to be called squatters and to be forced out on the streets I guess what they told us and what i put together was that the manager they had there was using places that were still leased out to rent out to people while she pocketed the money from a place that was technically not vacant ... from charging people like me and my girlfriend deposits and rent together therefore getting paid from our money

Just got my place here and and I cannot recommend this place enough. They are great for people who are getting their place for the first time and the staff is incredibly helpful and Cooperative. One of the best places You could possibly rent from. 10 out of 10🙂

I used to live in these in 2007 which they had furnished units, a nice property, and the utilities were a flat rate but now...they charge whatever they want for utilities and my thermostat stays at 74 and Ive told the office and no repair yet. My bathroom ceiling has fallen in and its day two and its not fixed. The bug problem is insane. A heroine addict loves the 2nd floor laundry room they need real security. Needles on the property from addicts which some are tenants. My refrigerator and stove didnt even work when I moved in. What happened to this property? I better get compensated for not being able to shower safely or comfortable. I paid 1580.00 to move into these which was not cheap and still no repair for an emergency I am contacting BBB.

The office staff are so helpful, kind and understanding. the experience to rent was smooth and quick. the apartment itself is beautiful and the small issues i had upon move in were fixed immediately. beautiful pool and a quiet neighborhood!

This place is amazing! I moved in and feel right at home. The office staff are so nice and organized. They listen to everything I have brought to their attention. They also have Security that Patrols the premises and makes sure there is no homeless Scavengers or trespassers. I recommend this apartment complex (:

Roaches, No maintenance Guy at all. The pools are never clean. A few people they let in are drug dealers.After new Management, They switched up my lease. When Miguel was around. A late fee of 10 dollars a day.But now they changed managers, It is now 50/60 a day. She was not even understanding about Your situation or not.This is not a Well you get what you pay for situation. They will rob you of About 700 dollars just for a 1 bedroom. And yet they wonder why no one can pay the rent. And its Practically Abandoned.

Seriously it’s not worth it to live here the fill up application with this apartment they took 14 days with no response they don’t pick up the phone at all and the staff not very nice after all that I cancel my application because I don’t wanna waste my time in money with this type of apartment

Take my advice, dont move in here unless you want the corporation that owns this money pit have hidden fees and charge you for Utilities at what ever price they want.A friend of mine is care giving his late best friends father there and needs to be rescued from that dump.

Beware..Predatory leasing. The complexs ad said eviction forgiveness but I wasnt aware of the $2000 deposit require to lease a studio for 599/mo. Granted I knew I would have to pay perhaps a larger deposit, but this amount was offensive and cruel. Although nice, the agent eagerly took my application fee and hold deposit. Omitting important info. (LIKE ID NEED 2 GRAND) if known, I wouldve saved my time and most importantly my money. Just because a person has an eviction doesnt give them a right to prey on the less fortunate. I will be filing a complaint with the multi-family housing agency here in Tucson asap

Just moved here in November and so far I have had a good experience. Both the office and maintenance people are very easy to work with and they take care of their tenants. A nice central location along with being a clean property makes for a good place all around.

BEWARE SLUMLORDS!! I lived here for a year and a half and had cockroaches in my unit the entire time, called the office numerous times and nothing was done about them I had to buy stuff myself. The last 2 months I was there I turned in a written 30 day notice along with my rent because I called, texted, emailed, and tried going to the office numerous times to set up a final inspection and couldnt get ahold of anyone, the office is always closed and nobody ever returned calls, texts, or emails, so I moved out June 1st which was the last day on my lease, and still have many unanswered texts and emails trying to get back my security deposit that have gone unanswered by them. On Monday June 24th I went to see if anyone was in the office, for once there was and it was open. The man there was extremely rude to me and is trying to say I owe almost $3,000 because I didnt give a 30 day notice, when provided a copy of my notice that was given he changed to I didnt fill out the proper form (Arizona law says only needs to be written signed and dated) along with saying I didnt set up a final inspection, and that I owe June rent and utilities, a broken lease fee (also he would not provide me with a copy of my lease), and cleaning and painting fees. I cleaned and painted before I moved out. The rude man said he would contact me and send me a list of what is owed, its now June 30th and I have yet to be contacted by phone or email so now I have been in contact with a lawyer. These people are slumlords and I highly recommend not moving here.

SO TERRIBLE!! BEEN ALMOST A COMPLETE MONTH SINCE I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO MOVING IN AND I STILL HAVENT MOVED IN AND THEY HAVE MY DEPOSIT AND IM STILL WITH NO APARTMENT
