John and Cynthia are the best. I have received nothing but top of the line service from day one. John is very hands on with the test and pointing out the results. Cynthia walked me through every step there was to know about my device. Also she demonstrated with me the proper care for cleaning my device and how to improve the battery life. Unfortunately, my husband and I have not had the same positive experience. Im assuming its because I have to speak for my husband regarding any health care issues and apparently Mr. Schellman did not like interacting with a strong woman such as myself. Too bad! My husband has had to go back time after time because of the hearing aids not working properly. Our granddaughter is still having to grab his face and speak loudly into his ears. The hearing aids cost quite a bit, and we have a right to expect a quality product that works. I agree that Mr. Schellman is nice - until he was questioned about his product and/or service. He was very rude and condescending during the last visit and never even acknowledged my presence. Before doing this review, I sent him an email about my concerns - he responded with a $95 invoice, which coincided with his arrogance towards us. Not sure what else could be the reason for his attitude towards us and not so many of you. Very interesting.

My mother who is 84 has been a client for several years. I went in today with her to help with some reverb from the hearing aids. John was very patient and helpful and walked through all the options to resolve the issue. Very good experience and would highly recommend NuEar Tucker.

I’m quite a bit younger than John’s average client. I’m 34 and a physician and very active in multiple outdoor pursuits including cycling, mountain biking, triathlons, hiking, backpacking, camping, etc. I am very demanding of my hearing aids, I really rely on them and expect a lot out of them. John has been very good at working to find the best solution to whatever problem I have even when it has taken multiple visits and a lot of experimenting and calling the audiologists at the manufacturer of my hearing aids. As a physician I am aware that it is unreasonable to expect a health care provider to know everything, but I do expect them to be willing to look and dig until they figure it out. John has shown me this and I would definitely recommend others to use his services.

If there was a 10 stars option, I would choose it, but, I could only select 5 stars. It has been a little over one year since my first appointment to have my hearing checked. After my exam, I was shocked and ashamed at how much I could not hear. John was very assuring that I would be able to hear once he sized me up with hearing aids and he did not disappoint. I cannot tell you how happy I am to actually not have to blast my radio or television. I want to give a special shoutout to Cynthia who is so kind and professional. I would recommend this hearing center. I am sending the entire office 100 thanks and my appreciation for them.

I have been going to NuEar for a couple of years. Excellent, professional and personalized. As a result of their good work, my wife and I are able to communicate much better! I was hearing only a portion of what she was saying to me, and let me tell you -- miscommunication can result in disaster. Furthermore, being able to hear properly in business settings is worth the investment. I recommend this Center highly!

I had a broken hearing aid, which I obtained 5 years ago when I lived in Virginia. I needed to find a place where I could get it repaired I found NuEar Hearing Center in Tucker . I am glad that I did.. First contact was Cynthia and you could never find a nicer more professional person. She helped me set up the appointment, and phoned a reminder a day or so before.John Schellman was first rate also, and very professional. He checked me out as well as the device and got my hearing aid repaired. You could not ask to be treated better. I highly recommend them, and you will be in good hands for sure.

I took my aunt here and the people was so awesome. They really helped my aunt with learning how to do and keep her hearing aids up. You know when you are years old you cant do this stuff but they were very helpful and patient with her.

This location is very shady and does not tell you the truth how they run their practice. When they tell you they do a free hearing test that is true BUT what they dont tell you is any of the information from the test or if you want any kind of documentation you can NOT receive anything until you give them $288.00 or purchase a hearing aide from them. I asked the lady when I called if I had the free test done do they include the paper work and information from test and she said yes. She lied and Its a scam to get you in the door! I had the test done and he brought me into office and said before they can do anything you have to pay them. They told me they do not file insurance I would have to do it myself and it might be covered, so DONT THINK YOU CAN USE YOUR INSURANCE EITHER! The thing that really made me upset is they didnt show me one hearing aide or any product before they even asked me to purchase a hearing aide, I still dont even know what they had to offer or could do for me and my hearing. All about the money and scamming people! Buyer beware have pocket full of money or big balance on credit card or it will be a big waste of time! Terrible business practice and were very rude!

Friendly and helpful staff. I came here after failing a hearing test for a job and found out how bad my hearing actually is. Luckily they helped me catch it early enough that its believed I wont lose my hearing. The hearing aids took a little getting used to but after the first month I couldnt tell they were even there. At this point I am coming up on one year with then and I couldnt be happier. I highly recommend this group. Thank you all for helping to save my hearing.

Highly recommended this place for any of your hearing needs. The staffs are very friendly. John is very thorough and informative. He explained all the details of the works he did. I had my hearing aids for a long time but wasn’t wearing them as often as I should. With his encouragement and adjustments to my hearing aids, I am wearing them everyday and enjoy the sounds and conversations with friends and family.

Hearing again, is the best gift I every gave myself. I can not imagine being with out my NuEar hearing aids. I am very fortunate to have met John and his assistant Theresa. I now can hear so much better and Ive listened carefully to his instructions and have kept up with it since my first appointment in December of last year. John is so very knowledgeable and I am now getting use to wearing them. I return periodically to have the volume increased. This bothered me at first and John knew exactly what to do. I put them on each day when I get up and take them off at bedtime. Ive learned, through his assistant, how to keep them clean, and add new batteries when needed. Im confident that all is well and I understand that my hearing will never be the same as it once was, but the hearing, so far, has been such an improvement I could never be ungrateful. Yes, I highly recommend NuEar to anybody who is having hearing difficulties. I give John all the stars that he deserves for the service he supplies, and my thanks for all his care and patience.

I met John over 3 years ago. At that time, I decided not to purchase hearing aids from him because they were more expensive than at the big box store. Boy was I wrong, what a waste of money. Yes, I got cheaper aids but the quality was terrible. Also once I needed help with the technology, no one could provide adequate service.Frustrated and discouraged, I came back to see John. He was immediately helpful and adopted me as a patient. He fixed my hearing aids and adjusted them to fit my hearing lost. I wish, I had just bought aids from him from the beginning. I basically wasted 3 years. My plan is to upgrade to Nuear’s aids since they are more technologically advanced and I will definitely use John for the purchasing process. Thank you to John and his wonderful staff.

Ive had my hearing aids for four months now and am very happy with the way I am hearing. They are so light-weight I sometimes have to feel to see whether or not I have them in my ears. After one adjustment I am hearing even better and know over time my hearing skills will return even more. The service has been very low-key and friendly. I know I will continue wearing these hearing aids, unlike my older, larger ones.

I am doing great and still love my hearing aids. Just love that I can hear. I have been using some of my programs. Sometimes I forget that I have them. Sunday after Mass, my husband and I went to Waffle House. There were some college kids having breakfast and they had that juke box going and cranked up! It was crazy loud! I remembered my program for restaurants, set my hearing aids on it and it really helped! I love being able to talk on my phone and hear through my hearing aids. That is so cool!Thank you for all that you do for the Y and the hearing impaired.

They are such good hearing aids, I do not feel them in my ears! This is my third set of hearing aids. This set I hear much better than I have ever heard before! John Schellman and his staff provides good personal help and are always available. Its a pleasure dealing with them.

First off, I’ve purchased hearing aids for the last 15 years. I’ve tried many different shops in and around the Atlanta area and I’ve bought many different styles/brands of hearing aids. The problem is that I could not find proper service after the actual purchase. Trust me, purchasing the aids is only the first step in dealing with hearing lost. The service/care afterwards is very important.After complaining to one of my relatives that I’ve spent too much money on hearing aids only for them to end up in one of the drawers in my office, he recommended that I go see John Schellman at Nuear. When I walked in, I was skeptical due to my previous experiences. From the moment I sat down with John, I could tell this time was going to be different. I am very grateful for the outstanding service I received at NUear, Tucker location.. Since my first visit the Audiologist Mr. John Schellman has always been very professional. Teresa too. My whole experience in obtaining the IIC is totally INVISIBLE... and is state of the art technology.. One can even synchronized it with your smart phone (I Phone) to regulate volume etc. My experience has been very positive, it has definitely changed or better yet IMPROVED my quality of life. John Schellman is a remarkable professional in his field,a natural teacher he explains everything in illustrated detail. I loved this aspect of his care. Video inside my ear! Amazing! It was also interesting to see my own hearing graph compared to normal. Nice to know what registers Im missing! Having this hearing aid (I only needed one)has enriched my life. I can appreciate the wonderful sound of birds and other sounds I didnt even know were missing from my life! I can understand group conversations and keep my T.V. at a more moderate level and still understand the dialogue. I discovered that hearing loss is a very insidious process. Who knew? I am grateful to have crossed paths with John Schellman and found my hearing loss early. I love my little Nuear!
