Would give negative stars if possible.. Fraudulently saved my credit card information and charged it twice months after I canceled my policy. I never once agreed that they could save my information. In fact, I specifically instructed them not to save it and not to auto deduct any payments. When I tried to call about the charges, customer service hung up on me because I couldnt provide them information to pull up an account. I told them thats because I dont have an account and this was fraud. They then hung up on me. On top of all this, they added my name to my in-laws home insurance without my permission and I dont even live there! Horrible, horrible company! Will be filing with BBB and if I dont get my money back, Ill be filing a police report against this company.
We have been with Allstate for nearly 20 years. A couple of years ago our agent sold his business and we became part of the new owners core. I never have one spoke with the new owner nor has he reached out to us. although Allstate was extremely good to us when we had to make a property claim that occurred with my old previous agent. We recently shopped around and found that the prices we were paying were very high compared to others. We decided to switch to State Farm. I am all about service, during the time in which the new owner has been in place has they reached out to us via a phone call to review our policies that would’ve made a big difference in our decision. I had referred several people to the previous agent and they were very pleased. One by one each one of them has emailed me or called to tell me that they were no longer pleased with the service. And they have gone elsewhere as well.
