Dr. Bentley is very knowledgeable professional and humanitarian. Its his sincere kindness, caring and gentleness that really makes a difference. He takes a real personal interest in you and your health. His whole staff have been chosen for their professionalism and for their friendly supportive personalities. They work very well together as a team. You will feel safe and cared about here. I have been seeing Dr.Bentley and Dr Steven for over 13 years, and still enjoy coming here. I highly recommend Dr Bentley.

They wont tell you when you schedule an appointment as a new patient, but they are not in-network for any insurance. So even if you have decent dental insurance that covers all preventative care at 100%, they will still try to charge you $30 for a cleaning because they charge more than insurance allows.The reception area had a Christian music station turned up so loud I could not hear myself think.The medical history paperwork was outdated and very unprofessional, referencing things like venereal disease (instead of STIs), emotional problems and asking if the patient is a touchy person.Im sure the hygienist and dentist would have been fine, but I left when they told me about the additional charges once I was sitting in the chair. I will give them credit for at least being up-front at that point. Everyone seemed cheerful and polite, which may pay their bills, but not mine.

I called to see if I could get in today (Saturday) for a possible root canal. I have a procedure scheduled elsewhere on Tuesday, but the tooth is causing a lot of pain and I cant imagine going 3-4 more days like this. The receptionist asked if I have been there before. No, I replied. She basically said there is nothing they can do. I asked if my dentist were to call to refer me to them if that would help. She said the best they can do is give me phone numbers to other clinics in the area. Obviously this place has no compassion. The least she could have done would be to ask one of the endodontists if they could see me today instead of slamming the door in my face and passing me along to other places. This might be a great clinic to visit if everything falls in place according to their schedule, but dont expect them to help you if you need emergency work done.

Dr Bentley- Just left your office and wanted to give you a shout out for the new X ray machine. I never thought there was a way to have a better experience at your office, but you proved me wrong. Your staff is awesome, you and Dr Stevens are awesome, and now you have an awesome new machine for x rays. Going to the dentist is never fun but the smiles and friendliness of your staff make it so much better. Have been a patient of Dr. Mark T. Bentley for more than 10 years and I do not believe there is a better dental organization than Excellence in Dentistry anywhere in the Dayton Metropolitan area. From the Receptionist as you enter the business, to the Dental Assistants and Hygienists, to Drs. Bentley, Stevens, and Jones...professionalism is premier. The entire organization makes you believe they are not just interested in your dental care, but you as part of their dental family. You are treated with Respect and Compassion. I would recommend Excellence in Dentistry to anyone needed superb dental care whether it is cleaning, repairing a cavity, needing an extraction, having a crown made, or full and partial dentures; Excellence in Dentistry is the go-to office.

Highest rated for a reason, as long as I am in Troy, OH Mark Bentley will have my business. Moving to Troy after living in another city for 20 some years, it was tough trying to find a new dentist. I turned to the Internet to search for reviews to hopefully lead me to the right place. That is when I came across this business. The staff is absolutely great, down to earth, friendly, honest, and most of all professional. These people really know what they are doing and make sure youre comfortable and informed the whole way through.

I come to a dentist to get my teeth cleaned and fixed.Everyone was very nice at this office and they do fine work. But when I go to a dentist, I dont want to talk about god, heart attacks, high cholesterol and be given a warning on why a person needs to be on statin drugs. Ill talk to my doctor about those subjects. I dont consider Dr. Bentley professional. He was very nice the entire time as well as his staff but I cant say he was professional and I wont be coming back. He actually freaked me out a little and was more like a car salesman (I actually felt myself wanting to get out of there ASAP). I also dont think the dentist office (or any healthcare business) should be offering you fresh baked cookies before you leave.My co-worker warned me about coming to this office (as well as a few others) but the reviews here looked good and I wanted to judge it for myself. I wonder about some of these reviews to be honest. As always, you should judge for yourself as well. Again, I dont think you wont be disappointed with his work.

Dr Stevens is great, I now live in WV but I will always make the trip back to Troy for all my dentist needs...
