I brought my son Maverick here for his very first barber shop experience. He is turning 6 and asked for a mohawk! I made an appointment for him the day of and arrived on time. He was in the barber’s chair almost immediately upon arrival. My son turns 6 this week and does pretty well for his age I think but he’s still a bit squirmy. The barber that took care of Maverick was extremely patient with him. He did a great job making age appropriate conversation with Maverick and making him feel comfortable in his chair. I brought a picture reference in with me and the end result was even better than anticipated. I highly recommend and will definitely be bringing Maverick back in the future.

JPs Fading Station is a fantastic local barber shop! JP and Jason are great guys, do super professional haircuts and shaves. Plus the shop always has a fantastic vibe and you always get fantastic conversations from the other patrons, Jason, and JP.

I was here for a beard trim and as usual JP did a fantastic job.

Definitely a place to check out! Took my son there last Friday. It was his first fade. Usually we just buzz cut him ourselves lol but we were both happy with the cut and the whole experience!

I would love to give them 5 stars because they are really great barbers. However! You cant get a haircut without a2 hour wait. We got there at 853am at the front doors. As they opened the doors at 9am we walked in and there were already 4 people inside waiting!? How, unless they walked in through the back when they opened. I guess appointments can only be made downloading an app? Not sure about that part exactly. The amount of time they spend on each person is more than frustrating. Its not good business to dedicate 45+ minutes to a customer. Especially if youre only open from 9-3 on a Saturday with only 2 barbers. Too bad we will not go there anymore. Really really liked them.

Wow, I dont think you can go anywhere and get a better cut! The atmosphere is great! The cut is unreal, the pricing is fair. I will definitely be a customer for life 😁

Jason and JP are the only 2 barbers that will cut my hair or my sons. They dont rush through to try and turn more clients in seats. Each person gets 100% attention to detail and quality service. I really respect that. I have never had a bad experience. They treat each client with respect and dignity. The experience and quality you receive is second to none. Keep it up!

I cant say enough how much of an amazing first time experience I had here, Jeff really did an amazing job cleaning up my beard and cutting my hair. Nice old school cut with a straight razor, steam towel treatment, hot lather and amazing smells to follow. Shop has a very cool vibe with super nice artists. My beard has never looked better.... thanks man!

Upon arrival a Gentleman was sitting at the front door smoking and playing on his phone. He stated that another guy had left for they day and that he only accepts appointments. I asked if he could fit me in as there wasnt anyone else there. He said he was booked solid. He said come back tomorrow. He didnt appear to worry much about customer satisfaction, and as a new face I would think a business would want to build a good client base. Needless to say my time and gas were wasted, and will not be back. It could have turned out so different is some effort/concern was applied for customer appreciation. Since it was not, what makes me believe the service is any different.

One of the barbers there will find anyway he can to get out of cutting people’s hair that aren’t white. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. Maybe that’s why they had to close shop last time they were in Trenton.

JP did a great job. My son said it was the best haircut hes ever had. Well be going back from now on.

I loved this place! It’s got a nostalgic “Barbershop” atpmosphere mixed with a modern feel. My barber took his time and was really precise about his work. I didn’t feel like I was being rushed in and out like I was at Great Clips or Sports Clips. What I found kind of cool was that they make you feel like one of the guys while you’re there. My haircut ended with a straight razor finish and a steamed towel on the face, totally cool and had an “old timey” feel. Really sweet place. Definitely unique, and not pricey at all, I was kinda shocked. Probably underselling themselves a bit. 10/10 in my book. Go check them out.

Jp and Jason are both great at what they do. I have used them both depending on my schedule couldnt be more satisfied.

Went today for the 1st time, got a haircut, beard shape and a hot towel shave. Also got everything lined up with the straight razor, and i couldnt be happier. Ive been looking for someone to get my beard how i like it and this is the first time ive been 100 percent pleased. Definately will be going back for now on and recommending more people to go there.
