I asked for a root touch up for my ash blonde balayage but my hair did not come out like I asked for (the hair stylist who assisted me told me she could do it beforehand too, so I trusted her). My roots are orange and there are also sporadic parts in my hair that are yellow and brassy. I also asked for a seamless transition between my naturally black hair and bleached hair, but it is a little chunky and sudden for my taste. Consider looking for a different place to balayage your hair, but if you’re looking for just a regular cut it should be okay.

Got my hair done with Sunny. She is a go to person! Extremely kind and was fast yet accurate with my hair. She is knowledgeable on hair and gave a good suggestions on styles. Was a little pricey for me, but honestly, this place does quality work.

Liz did an amazing job cutting my long hair! It was my first time at this hair salon and I had a great time. Sweet people! I had split ends and Liz managed to cut those off while leaving my hair at a great length. I love my haircut! So soft and silky ✨

I went to get my hair done here about 2 months ago. Im still dealing with my hair being damaged and fried. I came for touch ups and getting my hair more blonde as it was brassy. The owner along with her assistant colored my hair. The owner was so rude and barely even spoke to me. For the amount of money, you would think she was just working on me but she was also coloring someones hair. I am left with the after math of having my curly hair damaged which is something I tried so hard to prevent. She left the bleach in my hair and I asked if she was keeping track of time since she was working on someone else. She said I can make it more blonde but it will be damaged. I told her to take it out right away but its still damaged. She told me that I would return. I will never go back. I was there for several hours with barely any contact, let alone for $300 dollars not asked if I even cared for water.

This place is my new go to. I got a straight perm about 5 months ago here and my hair turned out great considering I had highlights and my hair wasnt in the best condition. I have curly frizzy hair and they made it look so nice. They also give amazing haircuts and dye hair really well. My sister goes to them too. She went from having black hair to blonde hair and her hair isnt really damaged or anything. They did a great job! I highly recommend 👍

I have never written a bad review for any business but this experience was exceptionally bad. 2pm appointment, not seen until 2:25. Subsequently, the salon rushed my hair cut leaving me with single handedly the worst hair cut in my life. The bangs are uneven, the back is uneven, the sides are uneven. This is a mens hair cut, fyi...not rocket science. The cutter dropped the comb on the dirty floor twice and her idea of cleaning was wiping the comb on my smock...yep no disinfectant. All in all, she spent 10 minutes on my first cut in a 14 months when I had booked a $55 mens hair cut.I realize I dont speak Japanese, and am sensitive to language barriers, but this was a flat out awful experience all the way around. I was planning on booking my wife for nails and hair, but would advise anyone who chooses this place for a first time to make sure they spend the time and you ensure you are not rushed.All in all, the facility was nive and it was busy so am assuming my experience was not the norm.

One of the worst haircut of my life.

Very bad miscommunication with the hairstylist. I explained to her that I just wanted a cut and after telling her multiple times that I did not want to spend more than 100 dollars she still put something in my hair that turned out to be 280. She never warned me about it when she put it in my hair and i am very upset that they still made me pay. I had to haggle and get it down to 150 but I didn’t want to pay for something that I didn’t ask for.

3 days ago I got a totally different hair color. It was a dried up yellow when I walked in, then a smooth awesome purple when I walked out. Despite the price They really took their time to make sure it came out 100% great and it really did have a lot to show for in the end. My hair stylist was Sarah & she was very understanding of what I wanted & completely helpful in the after-process 😇 thank you!

My appointment was right before the recent lockdown and the owner reached out to me directly through text to reassure me that she would be able to do my hair. Shes the absolute sweetest, most genuine salon owner Ive ever come across-I felt welcome and comfortable right away. She was so quick and delicate with her scissors and I was thrilled with the results. Ive had about 4inches of dead hair weighing me down since I moved to CA from out of state a year ago that were chopped off into the cutest bob. I will absolutely be visiting again!!!!!

The fist visit was disaster..after explaining so many times Sarah ( First hair stylist) completely ruined my hair colour and charged me 350$. I was really disappointed however spoke to the team and requested them for Chohee ( My Ultimate Hair Stylist)They arranged for an appointment next week and Chohee saved my life...She is just awesome, outstanding. She understood my requirement and exactly gave me the colour I wanted. I won’t let anyone else touch my hair! The color she made for me is the best. It is so perfect 👌natural white, no yellow, shiny. So beautiful. Never had better! She is very professional and puts her heart ❤️ into every client. Thank you!

Chohee was amazing and so nice! She did great color work on my hair and I won’t let anyone else touch my hair! I live out of town but still visit because of family and I’d fly back just for hair services from this salon. I also got a bayalage last year and it lasted for so long. This time around, chohee gave me the ashiest color I’ve ever seen on my hair. Salons in the past have never been able to get an ash color on my hair because it’s so dark but she did and I’m not surprised from her 30+ years of experience. The salon keeps up with modern techniques and uses really great quality! Thank you and I will return ❤️🤙!

I really like how they cut and colored my hair but it cost me $350 and that was before a tip. I wont be able to go back. Too expensive. Its like highway robbery. Had a great convo with the stylist about faith and she reccomend some products to me (said I could find them on amazon). That was very nice of her

This is the worst service I ever had. They did not know how to do a simple hollywood waves style. I could have done it myself but it was my wedding day. I show them pics and all they said is no, no,no repeatedly so I get out of there. This salon dont deserve your time and money.

The lady cutting my hair was in a hurry. She mught of been overseeing som8else in training. Her focus was on the other customer. I was left sitting in the chair a few times for a few minutes each time. My hair was brushed into my face once when I was sitting their waiting for my stylist to come back. I had little verbal interaction with the stylist.Im from a different state. Hospitality is important. I have yet to find warm kindness in this state with almost all the customer experience Ive encountered here. Everyone is rushed to get done with your needs/wants.

I got my hair done by Angel who recently moved to the area from Chicago. She was so sweet and gave me the cut I needed! It was great to be able to get my hair done on he same day I called in and asked for an appointment. I came to this salon because it was close to the area that I was in for my spring break. I plan on coming back when I’m in town. Ask for Angel if you are coming here for the first time. You will not regret it!

Chohee is absolutely amazing! I came in with a picture of how I wanted my hair to be and she told me to come in the next day, a hour before the salon opens, to start working on my hair because that’s how awesome she is! She spent a lot of time and did every part of my hair in perfect detail knowing exactly how I would want it. My hair came out better than the picture I originally showed her. I definitely recommend this salon. Super friendly and profession and the price is very reasonable.

Came home from work around 3 today and decided that I needed a haircut. Gave Ziva a call and asked of they could squeeze me in at 4:30 today (11/30). They did. When I arrived I was immediately greeted by Jazz and we went to work.Jazz worked her magic while listening to my request. As she worked we talked life. She was very good and gave me the best haircut that I had ever got in my life. I felt like a queen when i left. I will definitely be back.Now for the nitty gritty:--For $45 and a $20 tip I got a badass haircut, hair washed, and styled. Well worth every penny.--The atmosphere was very chic and luxuriousFor me the entire process took 30 minutes. (Got there at 4:10 and came out at 4:45 or so)

Superb hair stylist Choe

Called up for an appointment and was handled very efficiently and courteously. Clean Place. Very well managed. Esther did a wonderful job with the Haircut. She did exactly what i asked her and then told me she could make it better, which she did. Did not try to force other services on me like many other places. I was charged exactly what was told. No add ons for shampoo, blow dry etc. Did not have to wait a minute and was done in less than 20 minutes. Now thats value for money. Definitely going back again.

Very relaxed place and its located near the big Korean market I drive past all the time. A lot of parking spots.I was a lil worried that they took my name when I made my appointment but not my phone number.I asked for Eugene because my sister recommended her. She did a fabulous job with my hair. I got red highlights and a trim. She listened to my request and tried to match exactly what I was going for :) Shes also easy to get a long with so I didnt have to make any awkward chats.Everyone at the salon were friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable.I would def come back when I need to get my hair did again.

I got a pixie cut from Chohee and was extremely happy with the final look and the entire experience. Chohee took the time to talk with me to figure out exactly what I wanted. I didnt have the hair length to do it exactly how it was in the picture I brought in, but she talked with me about the ways it might be different and what we could do to achieve a similar look. Everyone was professional and friendly.

I had to share again my experience with Zive Salon.Cho Hee is an amazing hair stylist. Due to illness it had been about 5 months since I saw her last.I walked in on Saturday looking pretty rough.My roots were grey, dark and in need of a transformation.She never disappoints, I walked out of there feeling great.My hair was healthy with a nice cut, color and highlights.Just what I wanted.She also has a great assistant that helps when needed, she is very knowledgeable and I am always very comfortable with her helping.Highly recommend Zive Dalon for all your hair needs.Great products for your hair too.You will love this place.
