Best internet in pocatello Idaho.

Customer for 3 years, 2nd weekend in 3 weeks with service outages. This happens far to frequently considering one of their talking points is how reliable the service is. L1 tech line was more professional then their supervisor. Dont bother with messages theyre not good about returning calls. Generally clock in about half the bandwidth you pay for (1gig is really closer to 500mbs)If you want to get any traction with these guys you really should talk to the sales, their job is customer satisfaction and they will be willing to work to keep you happy. Tech support doesnt seem to give a damn if youre out of service for days.

All who helped me were very fast and courteous. I got same day installation! I loved that both the salesman I dealt with didn’t try and push the product on me, unlike sparklight (cable one) who tried to keep me from calling around by saying “you won’t find anything better than us.” Uh yes I did, fiber-optic with unlimited data for $54 a month.

Just moved to Pocatello, pretty hectic trying to get everything together in a new place. Spoke with Sophie and she was absolutely awesome. She called me two seperare times to go the extra mile and work around my schedule and get me taken care of. Total professional.

Good customer service too bad the higher speed isnt available in my area even though the company is directly across the street from my townhome apartment. Hopefully it will be better than Sparklight.

Fiber optic internet at a reasonable price.

I set up my appointment about a week out for my new home because TruFiber’s website says they offer service to my neighborhood, the customer service gal said we were all good to go. I get a call a day or two prior to install that they don’t actually offer fiber to my address “yet”. I told the gal that there must be a mistake because their website says they offer it to the neighborhood, not just a few streets in the neighborhood... She then told me that she just found out that day from the install crew. I was given a timeline of 2-3 weeks until they were to pull fiber down my street, but that it could be longer and she didn’t actually know. Okay, great life isnt over if I don’t get fiber, slower speeds from another provider will be a bummer. But, what would be awesome is if I could have gotten a straight answer from the get go. “Sir, I am very sorry but we don’t offer fiber to your address yet, and we currently have no eminent plans to pull service to your location. We are very sorry for the confusion.” Now, here I am in the middle of moving and un-packing burning up my data plan like frickin’ Pompeii with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for my 9 month old instead of having wi-fi at any speed.

Awesome service, tech is always available if there are any problems (which is very rare), great pricing and awesome speed. These guys knock it out of the park, I hope they replace all of the terrible other providers in town.

Best speed in Pocatello for a reasonable price!! Installers were very accommodating and willing to work with you to get the best installation possible. I went and purchased a few additional items to make the install cleaner and to my liking. I purchased the 1Gig speed and I test out at approximately 700Mb. It would be nice if it was a little closer to the 1Gig or if they offered a 500Mb plan that was in between so that I was getting the full speed I was paying for. Not disappointed would recommend.

When it’s fast, it’s the best connection out there. There are times that it won’t even load my smart TV home screen. Little hit and miss service

Reasonably priced for decent speeds with local people. I would advise purchasing your own router after doing some research about what is best for your home and needs as the router I purchased through the company was disappointing in performance and required constant resetting. After purchasing a newer upgraded model my internet was functioning at a five star level. I just wish I would have done that in the first place. Maybe plan ahead prior to installation in order to have the router of your choice at the ready.

The installers are great. They made sure I was happy with the routing of cables/dinner and the placement of any equipment. They tested the speed and have recommendations for better networking in my house that would help. The speed is great and so far YouTube is 100%

We have a problem with our internet working sometimes. As well we always pay in advance and was not told that our bill was going up by $5 until they took the money out of our account which is kinda annoying.

Fast speeds way better than anything else in town and it is cheaper. The biggest things the are awesome is that the upload speed is as fast or faster than the download and there is no bandwidth cap for the month.

Such amazing staff and services

Tribfiber install crew was here and working outside before the scheduled time. Installation was smooth and easy, guys were great. So far service seems to be working great with speeds 10x faster than my previous service.

I had Tru Fiber installed the summer of 2018 they were very professional did a great job on the install. They only took a few hours and no damage to the lawn. The service is very fast, always reliable, and very reasonably priced. There office representatives are very nice and eager to help you out. Definitely refreshing after dealing with the large internet providers what a nightmare with them.If they are in your area I highly recomend Tru Fiber.

Ive been a customer for a while now and when the internet is fast, I have to reset the router and switches every week. I didnt mind it at first because they are a newer company, but man... every week resetting your router and switches is not cool. Hopefully they figure it out.

I switched to true fiber because theyre a start up. It was half the cost, and Cableone was charging me at least a hundred a month, plus I was told I went over my Max twice for data. What the heck. I switched to also try for a better internet service; however there sixes, as neither are as reliable as they should be.

Great service and good pricing. The speeds are fantastic, we had tried TruFiber before at my in-laws, and the gigabit speeds truely are facemeltingly fast: 10GB downloads in mere minutes, HD/4K streaming uninterrupted, the works. We opted for the 100Mbps and the speeds are still crazy strong and never seem to bottleneck like they did with the competitors, plus no data caps. Couldnt be happier.was a piece of cake and the techs were very knowledgeable and quick.

Tru fiber has been a pain in the as since day one. They called to set up the installation date so it was set up for a Monday so my wife took time off work. They told me they would be out there on the Friday prior to install the service and then they would install the in house portion on Monday. Then they called on the Friday prior and tell us that they needed to call in for locates before they would install the service. You would have thought that since Idaho law requires this prior too digging for utilities that they would have called in the 3 days prior to ensure they could meet their customers time frames. They finally get the service in and the two morons that do the interior portion of the install cut completely through my closet wall into my basement. Then they cut another hole in the wall about 18 over. They didnt even tell me they did this prior to leaving my home. He even when out of his way to try and cover the mess up in the closet by putting boxes in front of it. No attempt was made to clean up anything. I then spoke with Molly Pena who handles the scheduling. Two weeks go by before they decide to get someone out to fix the work. But I dont have any paint since we just moved in to this house. I dont feel like their screw up should cost me money. I call to find out when they are going to come back and pain the wall and every time I call I get sent to voicemail. Their service is not as fast as they claim when I check the speed. I would love to kick these people to the curb but the cost is half what we were paying for cable one. A lot of people are very happy with the service they got. Im NOT!!! Their customer service is absolutely terrible!!!

Very very poor setup and communication. I was billed before I even knew what my account number was. Apparently there’s was miscommunication between the sales department and the billing lady. After I figure that out I still can’t sign into my account, more miscommunication. All in all it’s not that big of a deal. The internet is blazing fast and that’s why I signed up. The so called, cable one is best, ya that’s bull. I had cable one for years. Only for a month to month payment. I had constant connection problems. I haven’t buffered once that I know of while watching Netflix and what not. I’m pretty impressed with the connection of Tru fiber, their service depermanent could do a little better but are still great.

Whole house WiFi and modem in one has improved TV and computer functionality.

Good service, bandwidth as advertised, few outages (only one thus far, better than CenturyLink), good latency (Google ping went from 35ms to 17ms, WoW ping went from 70ms to 35ms).

Every person I interacted with in the process of transferring over to TruFiber has been helpful, professional, and timely.

They were quick to install the internet and it works great.

TruFiber is fast and reliable! We had 12 mbs with our precious provider, and video streaming would lag. (Truth be told, our wireless connection usually measured at half that speed.) Xbox updates also took forever. TruFi gives us 50 mbs, and sometimes the wireless speed tests even higher! We get no lagging from streaming, and Xbox updates dont take nearly as long as they used to! Were very happy with TruFiber!

Very affordable, and extremely fast. Netflix has not buffered once since the install. Way better than CenturyLink. Customer service is awesome and very quick to respond. They don’t keep passing you to someone else at another help desk like CenturyLink always did. We are very pleased with Tru Fiber.

Great speed and cost.

Ive been with Tru Fiber for a couple of months now, and Im still thrilled with the service and value I receive. The installation team was friendly and great to work with. When I had a problem connecting to the internet a few days after my initial install, Tru Fiber was quick to get the problem resolved. The installation team dropped by within hours of my call and re-terminated the incoming network cable, which got things working great again. The installation takes a few hours but was done with minimal disruption to my house and yard. A small trench was dug from the street to my house, and the cable was fed through the same hole as my A/C unit (eliminating the need to drill) and strung through my unfinished basement ceiling right to the main router. Perfect! Ive wired my whole house, so speeds are incredible. I can easily pull 95 Mbps downloads on my PC, and the full-speed uploads are a dream since I build websites and do quite a bit of uploading. I was hitting data caps with CableOne, but you have NO caps with Tru Fiber! I highly recommend the service.

My old internet provider indicated that my speed was 50 meg down and 3 up but when put through router to have WiFi throughout my house it would only be 20-22. I checked it out and the download speed was only 18–21 during peak hours and 22-35 during middle of the night hours. I then called and asked if they were throttling it, to which they said absolutely “NO”. This lack of speed brought me to Tru Fiber.. Tru fiber delivers 100 meg up and down for the same price so I setup the installation date.The install crew was The Best! After installation every landscape stone was in it’s proper place and you couldn’t even tell an underground installation had occurred! (Trust me, this install crew treated my yard like it was their own—absolutely the best —unbelievable professional and polite,)NOW FOR THE BEST PART—- WIFI metered out in my house at peak hours: download-146.2—upload-96.4, all for the same price that I was getting 18-22.Don’t wait do the Tru Fiber change if available in your area!

Bracken, Manny and their team members were awesome!!! My appointment was at 8:00 and they were there early all ready to go. My wife hates any exposed wires and they made her very happy as they took the time to do what it took to minimize any wire exposure. They were in and out very quickly which is impressive. They were hustling the whole time. Bracken was very knowledgeable and confident with his networking.The disturbance to our lawn was minimal and likely wont be visible after first grass cutting .Very happy with the whole experience, from construction to completion.I highly recommend Tru Fiber as a company and as a service .There is no way any other Internet service will provide the speeds and service that I have experienced .

Fastest internet I have ever had!

We recently moved to the area and picked our home based on gigabit internet access. Tru Fiber has really easy setup and speeds that put other ISPs to shame. I have used the other ISPs in this area and they can’t hold a candle to the customer service and reliability that Tru Fiber offers.

They come door to door telling you that your neighbors just purchased it and that the sale price of your house will go up if you purchase it. To sweeten the deal they tell you that they wont charge installation fees since theyre in the neighborhood. Very slow internet it wasnt what they promised. It also drops all the time. It buffers forever on Netflix. Dont purchase it!!!!

I recently dropped CenturyLink and got Tru Fiber as my internet provider. They installed into our subdivision the fiber optic cable and I signed up as soon as I could. The installation was easy (and I thought it would be difficult) but they got the cable right to the center of my basement where my router and lines were located and did no damage inside or outside my home. The speed is FANTASTIC! I have been greatly pleased thus far with my experience and service. October 2017April 2018. It has now been more than 6 months since I made the change from Century Link to Tru Fiber and I could not be more pleased. I have loved the speed - both UP and DOWN. Century Links Upload speed was extremely slow and since I need to upload large pictures and videos the 100 mbs UP and DOWN has been utterly fantastic. I could never go back to such slow internet.

Everything went as promised. Happy with our service so far.
