Sat at the park counter watch at minimum 6 people walking around. Employees chatting about what they were doing for the weekend. 20 minutes of listening to them, watching them work before i was helped. Customers come last here.
Very very poor customer service.. cut throat cheep and dishonest.. .. I saw a vehicle online.. called and checked availability.. they said it was available and would be ready for me later that day ..good .. made an appointment for later that afternoon to drive and inspect. the vehicle .. I even asked if they needed something to hold it because i was coming from SLC when wife got off work.. no problem they said I will have it ready.. got a call when we were half way there (30 min. before my scheduled time) -- oh sorry we just sold it to someone else. !!! CHEAP A$$ .. What ever happened to reserved meant reserved.. Wont trust again. Wont ever buy from again. and Im sure they will delete this so i will post again and again and again .......... would give zero stars if possible ....

Dropped off a truck for repairs yesturday
They actually changed my oil which was great, but they didn’t fill my oil all the way. Only a quarter of what should be in there was in there. They lied saying my tread depth was 3 when it was actually 4.7 and it was still good. They lied saying I needed to change my air filter and it hadn’t even been checked by them. The air filter was just fine. The air filter wasn’t secured it was left wobbling while I drove. They over filled my tires with air when it should be 36. It doesn’t just stop there. Overall the experience wasn’t great.

I went in on a Satarday to look at getting into an F150. I didnt have any specifics I was looking for, and I was greeted and greatly helped by Brendan. He didnt ask me what my credit was or cost. He simply asked me what I wanted to see and repeatedly got me the keys quickly to every truck I wanted to see and test drive. It was a very different experience than what I am used to. It wasnt until I was certain that I liked a truck that he said lets get the process started on that if youre ready. Everything couldnt be done that day so I had to go back on Monday and although I had to work with someone different becuase Brendan was busy. I still got the same level of respect and treatment from Steven. I even last second decided to check a few other trucks and change my choice.They were nothing but patient with me. I couldnt ask for a better experience. 👍

I brought my work truck in last week on Thursday and I was informed my truck would be looked at the next day and when I called today to get an update, they said it still hasnt been looked at and they dont know when it will be looked at and here it is Monday and nobody could even call me and let me know or give me the option to go somewhere else

I brought in a set of wheels and tires to be mounted, and one wheel was damaged by accident. Dane in service notified me immediately, and he and Tyson (service manager) went above and beyond to rectify the situation. I understand that mistakes happen, and really appreciated them being so upfront and honest with what had happened as well as making sure that the situation was rectified right away.
I spoke with Kim while getting my car serviced, I called multiple times with a bunch of questions and each time she helped me quickly and efficiently and didnt act like I was bugging her, even though I kept calling. She sounded very pleasant and happy and professional on the phone which I appreciated.She scheduled for me to be picked up and brought to my car so I could leave to work straight from the dealership.It was snowing and there was traffic so I was told George would pick me up in 30 minutes. I dont think it even took 20 minutes! I was so impressed as I was late to work. He came to the door and offered to help me with my things. I didnt need help but it was very nice he asked as I had two bags, an infant in a car seat and my 4 year old daughter in tow.As we got to the car he opened the doors for us and I got my infant buckled in and my 4 year old said she needed help. George graciously asked if it would be okay if he helped her. What a help it was, and saved me and my hair from having to run to the other side of the car and back. As we drove he was very friendly and upbeat and chatted with me, and walked us in to the building and showed us where we needed to go. Upon departure he thanked me with a smile and went on his way.They both are amazing!
As I left for work early this morning, the low tire pressure lights began flashing for 2 of my tires. I drove directly to your shop, and was promptly taken care of. The technician took care of all 4 tires and sent me on my way. His service was greatly appreciated. I enjoy taking my car to Performance because they always do their best to take of their customers.

Made an appointment at 8:30 am they didnt even take my car in until 3 hours later . So disappointed!. When I make an appointment my vehicle should be taken in at the time my appointment was made for, not when they decide to look at it. I have been waiting here the whole time, my wait time may have been longer except I bugged them.
Poor Service Department -Performance Ford TooeleSunday 15 Jul 2018: Had vehicle towed in for a repairs for an alternator that was not working and would not charge the batteries. The batteries were only six months old. Performance Ford replaced the alternator. Up to this point in time I was satisfied with the Performance Ford Service Department and the Service Writer. The service department was very professional and prompt with getting my vehicle fixed. Especially since I dropped off the vehicle on a Sunday and left the keys in the drop box. The following week after picking up the vehicle from the service department, the vehicle would not start again. Called dealer about the problem with my alternator not charging the batteries. The service staff told me over the phone that it could not be the alternator that they just replaced. In my opinion the service staff came off as standoffish and distant. Having already been paid for installing the new alternator, they just wanted me to just go away and did not want tot help me with my concerns about the new alternator not working.
I was the person who avoided going to dealerships for maintenance at all costs. Since moving here I now bring all my vehicles here and only here. The staff has been amazing and always honest. I have never been to a place that didn’t try talking me into upgrades and items I don’t need until now.
I brought my fairly new Focus into this dealership and wasnt very impressed. I felt like some of the people were being lazy and short when I was asking in detail what they did to my car based on my receipt. I remained eager and in a happy mood because I do understand that most Technicians are very underpaid for what they know and how much time they arent spending at home especially with the ever increasing price of good tools. I prefer a different location in the Salt Lake Valley based on my many experiences at this dealership. It sucks that I feel like I should go to a further away location just for awesome Customer Service.

I took my Ford Fusion in for a oil change yesterday. I told Jacob I needed a oil change and the tires rotated. I left the car there. He called a hour and a half later saying it was ready for pickup. I picked it up shortly after and Jacob told me it would be $72.83! I was confused since they offer The Works oil change for $49.99 on their website. I told him that is what I thought I was getting, he said No, just a oil change and rotated tires. So apparently if you dont give the keywords The Works when you check in you cant have that price. What is the difference?!! I bought my car from this dealership, so I was trying to be a loyal customer but Henry Day Ford in West Valley has 3 oil changes for $75! I will never be back to this dealership and will tell everyone I know not to do business there. I take my Honda Accord to a Honda Dealership in Salt Lake City and the service agents have ALWAYS been very professional. No keywords needed.
After purchasing a Fiesta ST from another dealer and falling in love with the car, I reached out to Performance Ford Tooele to inquire about purchasing a second Fiesta ST. They had a model I was interested in, but I live two hours away, so I attempted discussing the purchase with Will over the phone prior to coming in. Overall, it was a bad experience. Not only was Will not knowledgeable about the product he was selling, but the pricing was quite bad. When I mentioned I had gotten better offers from other dealers, he became hostile and retorted why havent you bought from them, then? I definitely will be buying elsewhere. The pricing was bad, the salesman was thoroughly unhelpful and not understanding that I lived two hours away. He only cared about getting me in the door before even coming to an agreement.
Parts department was lacking in service response time.
We were treated well here. We bought a used Jeep and never felt jerked around. They were able to arrange very good financing as well.
After being stood up for last weeks appointment to have a recall done they got me to reschedule for this week and and a half HR before this appointment they tell me once again still no rental car available so I just got a ride and they broke my car it was fine when I dropped it off now its broken

We purchased a brand new vehicle from this dealership and the vehicle has had a bunch of problems, understandably we know that its not the dealerships fault but the manufactures fault. However during the several times it had to go to the shop the follow up process from the techs and service managers were very poor, they hardly followed up with us we were either having to call them or go into the dealership to get an update on our car. Every time we had to bring our car back to the shop to get fixed we would let them know that we would need a rental/loaner car to borrow if our car would be in the shop longer then a day so that we could get to and from work, they would fail to notify us in time to arrange a rental car before the local rental car place would close so we had to start following up with them earlier in the day so that we could arrange a rental car if needed, simply put getting a rental/loaner vehicle from them until our car was fixed was always a hassle. We were told when we bought our car to refer friends and we would get a referral bonus for referring, we had friends who bought a car from the dealership (we referred them prior to having all our vehicle problems) and we have yet to get any referral bonus from the dealership, weve asked several times but havent received anything. Our sales man Rick was very nice and helpful but he was about the only positive part of our experience. We have been less then impressed with our experience with this dealership and dont plan to buy vehicles from them in the future and well probably refer to a different dealership for our future service and repair needs.

Not hard to find better pricing. Salesman very friendly and helpful. When brought in price from other dealer given to sales manager, was told no one could do that. Price was better for same vehicle a year newer at other dealer. Sales manager dident even try, all he had to do was lok at the other dealers website. Performance saying beat any deal definitely not true. Look around you will find a better deal.
First time going to this dealership for my oil change. I also purchased tires and received the best customer service from the Gentleman working Wednesday and Thursday in the service center. I would give him 10 stars if it was allowed.

Wouldnt recommend buying a used vehicle from them unless you can get it inspecting by a different trusted mechanic learned that the hard way. Bought a used truck and after just under 3000 miles later it needs a engine rebuild because of a bed plate leaking and heads leaking that apparently werent leaking at the time I bought it. Didnt buy the warranty at the time so now they want 6500$ to 7000$ to fix the problem.
Service department was great. Performed the service as agreed and in a very timely manner. Competitive pricing as other local auto repair shops.

I bought my Chevy Spark about a year and a half ago at a different chevy dealer in Salt Lake City. Yesterday, my check engine light came on and the car began to drive really roughly and was having a hard time switching gears. With $30 to my name I thought for sure I was toast. On a desperate whim, I pulled into the lot of Performance Auto. They where quick and friendly to assist me. I wasnt even sure they could, since I had gone through another dealership. They didnt even bat an eyelash about getting me right back to the service area. Everyone I interacted with was so kind and professional. The waiting area was cozy and had nice cold drinks- sorely needed after being stuck in my car with the AC off to help get any extra HP.They needed some time with the car, which made me panic. I had two jobs to work! They set me up with George Bromley for a shuttle ride while they worked on my car. If that hadnt exceeded my expectations enough--- he also came back to my work, delivered my keys right to my desk and let me know that theyd even washed my car!WOW!! I could not be more blown away at how great this experience was. I will gladly return for services in the future.!
Took my F-350 in for warranty work for the radio the beginning of July, they told me they would have to order a new radio. 2 weeks later I called to find out if my radio was in yet and the receptionist told me nobody in parts or service were at there phone and they would call me back. Nobody called back so the next day I called and got the same runaround. I tried the online chat and they just sent me a link to problem solve it myself. I told them I didn’t need a link I already knew the problem and was just trying to find out if they ordered a radio. The next day I called again and same thing the receptionist told me nobody was available and they would call me back, so I asked for her name and then someone called me back, but when they did they told me they never ordered the radio because they never got the codes and part number off my radio the first time I brought it in. It is now a month later and they want me to bring my truck back in so they can get the codes and part number. I figure 5 more trips and 2 or 3 months from now with me constantly calling it might get fixed.

Had vehicle in for a repair and they replaced parts that were functioning and didnt fix the issue causing the problem (which was a simple broken wire found at a more competent dealer). Performance in Tooele takes an exorbitant amount of time in working on your vehicle and starts slapping on parts before properly diagnosing what the actual issue is. Thanks for wasting my time.

I ordered a key for a ford truck back on Oct 7 2015 . I was told it was on back order. I had no problem with this. Then I was told in the middle of December that I could pick it up. I was out of town on vacation most of the month. I couldnt get in to get it until Jan 22 16. They cannot find the key on file of being purchased. They tried to look and see if I had my truck serviced here to see if it was on a previous work order. They did not find my truck under service either I have been here multiple times in the last year. Then they asked me if I would like to purchase a key. Even though I paid $159.50 for a key previously. So I decided to go home grab the receipt and get my money back. This Ford dealership will try to get you on paying for things that youve already paid for because it has been over a lengthy. Of time. They just want free money I will never return to this dealership. This was on an account for my company that I work for we have multiple Ford trucks most of them have been purchased at other dealerships. But this forward is the closest for service. Now they have lost our business I will take my business in to Salt Lake City from now on. I personally am looking for a vehicle currently and I would not consider this dealership due to their parts department.
My car broke down on the way to a new job driving test bummer. I needed a new car and fast and I was between jobs and I was able to get a brand new car for a price I paid for my Kia back in 2006. Will and Roland helped us figure out the best vehicle for us at the time and they even let me drive to SLC for my driving test that I had to reschedule because my car broke down. Love my new Sonic. I have bought multiple cars from them. Nate Shepherd and Jake Bell are my go-to guys. Four stars because there were some glitches when the transitioned from Quality to Performance, however, with my last truck purchase, I believe they resolved them. I try to stay local as much as possible and hope you do too.
I took my truck in for a routine front end alignment and tire rotation/balance. Guy at the desk told me itll take an hour, so I opted to wait there WITH MY 12 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER. 5 1/2 hours later, my truck was done. Yeah, we sat there in that little waiting area for five and a half hours. Me and my 12 month old daughter. Then on the way home, the tires threw the weights... Needless to say, I will never again go here for ANY auto service. Thanks for nothing fellas.

I called ahead and was advised to wait 2 hrs hours and come in. I waited 2 hrs and went in. No one open the overhead door or knowledge that was there. I went inside and was directed to go to the front desk. I stood in front of two dark haired males who didnt even knowledge I was there.another customer who had walked in directly behind me witnessed the poor customer service and left. Monte and another male kept saying something about someone being gone to lunch. I questioned Monte should I just go somewhere else or what? He shrugged his shoulders like he could care less. I certainly understand why the residents of Tooele valley choose to go to Salt Lake for their automotive needs and service when you have such poor customer service at Performance Automotive. These individual needs a serious wake up call and realize that without business they wouldnt have a jobs.
We went to Performance Automall to see if they had something within our budget. Nathan was friendly, understanding, and extremely helpful and he was never pushy or dishonest. Although we did not find the car we had in mind, he was able to find us a very reliable car and kept us within our budget. Steve was very considerate of our financial obligations and helped us find a better rate than we were already pre-approved for. This helped us tremendously in maintaining our budget. We felt welcomed and respected the entire time we were there and everyone at the dealership was patient with our two very hyper toddlers during our visit. This made the experience much more enjoyable. Thank you Nathan and Steve! We love our Cruze!!!
I was informed towards the beginning of this year that there was a recall on my vehicles alternator. Tooele Automall worked diligently to make sure once the part became availible that I was set up to get it replaced. I just got out of the hospital, as I had my back fused 2 weeks ago and I was thankful for George Bromle,y the shuttle driver for his patience and his AWESOME PR SKILLS!!!! George made sure that I was taken care of and brought home after I took my car to be fixed and he also made sure that my car was brought back to my house!!! I want to give a big THANK YOU!!! I have been very impressed with the service I have received at Performance Automall in Tooele. In addition to fair prices and quality work, the extras they provide (such as free tire rotation, shuttle service, a car wash after servicing, free refreshments while you wait, free WiFi) make the overall experience all the better. I recently purchased some new tires for my Ford Escape and had my serpentine belts changed out. Not only was the job completed timely, I felt that the price was fair and their shuttle service made life a whole lot easier. I was without an alternate mode of transportation and their shuttle service not only dropped me off after leaving my vehicle in the morning, but they also came back and picked me up when the job was finished. Thanks to George Bromley for being kind courteous and very punctual!

Worst experience I have ever had! Took our truck in to get some work done after changing the transmission fluid. They had our truck for almost 2 weeks and proceeded to charge us over $2100 and have it back in worse condition than what it was before they touched it, the truck no longer has 4th gear and will need a new transmission. All it needed prior was the filter changed. Very disappointing
