Ive had Sparklight since 2019. Ive had to call them out at least 5 times and had to get new modems. My internet would cut off and it was hard for my daughter to do homework, play her games, etc., and it was horrible on the days I worked from home. Well I FINALLY have my issue resolved thanks to Leonard Willis!!! He stuck with my ticket until it was resolved! I have to also thank Joshua or maybe it was Jonathon. He realized I had the wrong modem due to an upgrade I have and switched it out when he and Leonard came together. I appreciate these guys. I was getting ready to go with another company. I give them 5 stars for their hard work. Thank you.

I am a new customer of Sparklight and I have nothing but positive response to both their customer and maintenance personnel as well as the impeccable internet service. Our former service had completely opposite personnel professionalism, with a much less Mbps than Sparklight. Having both professional and friendly staff with Sparklight is such a great improvement and peace of mind. Thanks to all of them for all they do. If one is weary of companies not caring for the customer, which is now pervasive in our nation, then experience Sparklight and a return to what service was always truly about. I am a fourth generation Military Veteran, born on the 4th of July and I thank Sparklight for their service to me. Enough said.

Moved to Texas from the East Coast .. Never heard of Sparklight before ..Called to set up service before the cross-country move and was met with knowledgeable customer service representatives who set my account up and assure me my WIFI would be delivered on a specific date . At the time of my new order it was over 30 days so they couldnt schedule the WIFI delivery over 30 days..BUT he assured me he would put a pin in it and circle back to assure delivery after the 30 days lapsed..AND IT WAS DELIVERED as PROMISED! That in it self is huge in a world during the pandemic that he would do exactly what he promised.. It was easy to install and a few clitches at first to connect but with call to technical support, it was fixed and my family was fully connected in no time! I would highly recommend Sparklight for all your WIFI needs!!

Having Sparklight has been an incredible pleasure. My self install kit arrived promptly as scheduled and took only minutes to set up. Within half an hour I was getting hundreds of Mbps download with an almost equal upload.

Applied for internet online (as I have always done with every other provider) and paid my deposit, waited for the email as it said I would receive one that same day confirming. Never received an email so I called today and they said that you need to call to set up new service, and not set it up online. So now I have to wait 3-5 business days to see if they even offer service in my area (even though it said online when filling out the information that it offered it at my new address). I work from home full time. Would have been nice if this information was posted online before I paid the deposit/ one month of service.

I ordered sparklight and paid the initial installation fee ect with my credit card. We have had services less than 2 weeks and already have a prorated bill which they automatically charged to that same credit card without authorization. I in no way authorized automatic payments!! Very very very unhappy!!

Originally gave Sparklight a 2 star review based on latency issues after 6 months of numerous calls and tech visits did not resolve my problem. After my Google review I was contacted by my local office and I was assured they would look further into my issue. They soon discovered issues on their end and worked diligently to fix them all. They checked all of their equipment from the cable plant to my house including the CMTS, the node, the amplifiers, and the lines and replaced what was necessary. They even kept me informed on the progress of repairs which I found outstanding. I am happy to report that my internet seems to be flawless now. Sparklight truly went above and beyond and I cannot thank them enough. 5 stars and major kudos based on customer service and willingness to ensure my internet was working properly.

Im updating my previous review. A wonderful technician came to our home and decided we needed a new modem. He hooked it up and I have never been happier with internet service. Lightening fast and not one interruption since the modem change. I wish I would have written his name down because he truly deserves recognition. After years of subpar service and countless visits and calls I now feel Im getting what Im paying for. My usage has been down it seems since this as well which makes me wonder if that was what caused the need for me to upgrade and pay for extra data every month. I will closely watch it over the next few months to figure out if I need to be in contact with someone about that. Im only going to 4 stars for now due to all the trouble Ive had. If it stays like it is now for a few months I will definitely increase to 5 stars.Wow! So now they have added a virtual customer service agent that asks you everything that you already know to do. Then they make you wait for hours to speak with someone. I guess I understand because they can never fix the problems. You have to be careful of the 2.9 rating because my 1 star was never recorded on Google.I hate giving bad reviews to anyone, but Im at my wits end. The service is terrible. Everything is slow about Sparklight except when you go over your allotted data then they are very fast to email you to force you to upgrade. Ive called multiple times and nothing has changed. The customer service seem appalled by the speed, and interruptions in service, but I havent seen any changes, or received any updates on trying to fix the issues. We cant watch shows, my son cant play his games. We were supposed to have another service call, but they called me an hour after the appointment time to tell me they would be late. Ive been paying for this service for years and it has been bad the whole time. In fact I didnt really know how bad it was until their own customer service told me. The customer service representative stated he was going to submit me for credit. I did not ask for this, but I did receive a call and the person reluctantly gave me a 30 dollar credit stating that it had only been bad for a couple of weeks. I feel like this person could see the same thing as the customer service agent, and it has been bad for years. The biggest problem is that there is no competition in the area so everyone is just stuck paying for subpar service. Im totally open to amending this if my service improves or some sort of communication that the problem is being fixed. I do not want any sort of credit, I just want my internet to work. Ive been told there is some degradation to be expected because we use WiFi, but I cant believe that everyone has 5 wires going to all parts of their homes in this era of technological advancement. Have had Cable One, now Sparklight, for several years and have had excellent service. Very easy to get in contact with someone today regarding my internet speed. Scheduled a call and had the pleasure of dealing with a gentleman named Cory. He was very professional and helpful. It was excellent customer service all the way around, but especially from the on site technician Cory. Have had to contact the company one time in several years and it was mainly my fault for the slower connection. Cory got me fixed up!

Sparklight is the best!!! Being prior military and currently in law enforcement, I’ve lived in several different states and had good and some not so good internet providers. Sparklight is the best I have encountered. I currently utilize YouTube TV and stream everything on 4 televisions in my home including my Xbox with no problems whatsoever. They also provide superb customer service when needed! Sparklight is truly a 5 star company.

Really great. I have been with different cable companies and Cable one has really been great. I have internet and it finally works. They have been great from my first phone call. They helped me EVERY step of the way. The sales department took my order and signed me up. The tech came to my house and was really great. He was polite and even took a minute to pet my dog Adele. He showed me how it worked and it only took a small amount of time.I have been really happy with with CABLE ONE and the price is great too.

The internet speed is excellent and we are satisfied with the tv channels we receive. Only 4 stars because we just wish someone would come back out to bury the cable that is draped across our fence so the dogs won’t chew it up! No one has ever come out to do it (we’ve called) and it’s been at least three weeks.

I was informed spark light would call when on their way for set up. We were all awake inside in the house, technician by the name of Chris and spark light doesn’t try any form of communication with us so then they tell us it’s our fault because “he rang the doorbell” we go up there the same day and they tell us we can get set up the next day. All the while we were relying on them to get in contact with us so that our security system for our house could also be set up. Now due to spark lights bad service and terrible communication and it being the customers fault we must now reschedule everything that relied on WiFi. Thank you!..... update. The lady at the desk told us we won’t have to pay until it’s been installed but that’s not correct because we have already paid and still can’t use the Wifi we’re paying for. Then we called back a couple hours later. The automated voice says they will call before they head to out to install services. Never received a call. Thank you

Had service scheduled to be installed on 12/27 between 3-5 pm. I confirmed the appointment online. At approximately 4:30 I received a message saying the technician is running behind. Then one saying hes on his way. Then at 4:53 pm I get a call from a blocked number. Didnt answer the blocked number. They then cancelled my appointment. Took off work and was waiting for 3 hours to get service installed. I was then told they would reschedule me for Monday....

After 15 years of service with this company. We called them to say we were moving. We would like new service at the new address. We were told it would take a week before they can get it hooked up. Ouch a week. Well, after waiting patiently for a week, they show up and tell us they cannot finish the installation. Next available date they have to come back in a week later. My wife and I moved in from dallas and had great experiences there with Spectrum. When we came here, we signed up for cable one/sparklight (its the only one availible in our area of Texarkana AR near Genoa). We pay for internet on the 100 Plus plan. The speed is great, i consistently clock in 110-115mbps for a good 4 or 5 minuets. Then the internet will go down for 10 minuets at a time. Our router cant reach the network. For the first month or two, I assumed it was just the area we lived in being more remote, but after talking to some friends from work who live on the other side of town they were having the same issue. Every 5 to 10 minuets the internet goes out completely and theres nothing you can do to fix it. If windstream becomes availible in our area I will purchase it, even though it offers a lower speed because at least it will be consistent.

I would say that I enjoy my service but honestly I dont. The speed and internet is great, but my bill on the other hand is what got me upset. Im supposed to only pay 105 a month for my service which is the unlimited plan, but my bill is constantly going up. Until yall can get your stuff in order and for your representatives to stop calling people a liar, this will stay a 1 star.

Took half day off work today so I could be home for tech. Got call at 158p stating tech would be here 230p -330 and to hit 1 to verify. I did. Got another call stating tech was late and would arrive 3-4p and to hit 1 to verify. I did. When I finally called customer service I was told tech tried calling at 330p and i didnt answer so he cancelled. Zero chance i missed a call. I literally sat with my phone in my lap with living room window open from 1230p until 450p when i called customer service. Where I waited on hold for over 20 mins while a recording kept saying someone would help me in a moment. I lost 1/2 day of work for nothing. This was ridiculous service and I am not happy. Apt is now rescheduled for tomorrow 1-3p and my mother is driving from 2 hours away to be here. I cannot take more time off work.

Reliable (in this area) Ive never received the speeds that Im paying for (150/200Mbit/s) Maximum, and thats with using a high performance modem, but thats due to an older network of copper that was purchased from a buyout long ago in my location. That will never be fix unless forced to. Wish I could run a speed test for a photo but guess what! Internet is down for routine maintenance! With no notification. No tweet no, FB Post, no message from my browser Nothing!

Always been with Direct Tv & Dish in the past but decided I’d give Sparklight a shot for cable & internet. Sparklight Internet was my only option in my area but cable was more than disappointing! I asked for all of the premiums & was told numerous times I had it all for the 200 plus a month but when I went to watch Sci fi & others, I was told I wasn’t subscribed to those ! And if’s it’s after banker hours, 5 pm, you can’t complain to anyone until 9:00 am next business day . I will be changing over to Direct Tv again and get 200 plus channels instead of 100 plus and get On Demand again which Sparklight forgets to mention they don’t offer and haven’t for quite awhile ! Internet is great with them but go to another provider for Cable services ! Waste of time & money spent on subpar cable service!

After paying $90 to get the service connected, I sign in to my account within 3 weeks and its saying I owe another $5.xx? I got an email saying I was enrolled in direct pay, but I check my credit card statement a couple days after the due date and it hasnt been charged. Pull up the account, and have big red letters saying Im past due... Really? If I hadnt been vigilant I might not have service right now. Not to mention if I did happen to go into non-pay theyd disconnect at the office, and charge me $100+ to reconnect... Get it together C1.

Update 9/10/19We Signed up for TV, (football season, Games..lol)I highly recommend the tech Joseph Hale, He was Very Helpful and efficient, answered all questions I had. He made the whole process very easy.I was suppose to have internet through cable one between 3 and 5pm today (1-14-19), when I called to have everything set up I told them I already have an account at 2 other addresses, that I need wifi set up at a new address, we went over all the contact information, phone number, address, time. I was told to expect a call about 2 pm for a more specific time frame. 3:15 rolled around...still had not recieved a call so I called them, was told the technician was running late and to expect a call between 3 and 4 pm. Which was working in my favor because I needed to drop my mom off at her house and then I was going to head home and wait for the call. At this point its 3 45 p.m, I am almost home but still no phone call saying they are on thier way...I get to the door and see a note saying sorry we missed you, please call and reschedule your appointment at this point Im upset because Ive been waiting on a phone call that I never got. When I call cable one, they said they had called but they called the wrong number...I specifically gave my cell for them to call...Instead they called a number attached to my mothers account clear across town and not the phone number attached to the account at the residence they are suppose to be setting up the internet!!!!! Now..I have to wait a week before I can get internet and they have already charged me for the 2 days before the end of the billing period because I WAS getting internet 2 days before the new billing cycle starts...thats so petty.I asked if they could send a technician back out...this isnt my first rodeo getting qifi..plus Im in an apartment..it will take literally 30 mins...but nooo...they couldnt get a tech to come back out...Im like ok so yall messed up..called the wrong number...and you cant even try and fix your mistake...really...you cant get 1 person to come out and set up a quick installation...its not my fault yall called the wrong number...I supplied yall with everything you needed and still cant get it right...and then you dont even want to try and make it right....do you know how many nights I work overtime and stay hours past the time we are suppose to close just to help our clients out...Im suppose to be off at 5 30 everyday...instead I never leave my place of work before 6 pm because everyday there is someone keeping me there late. Ive had cable one internet since moving in March, and I hate it. At least 3 times a week Im stuck troubleshooting the modem myself, and unplugging and replugging it in for hours at a time just to re-establish the connection. I switched from windstream for the affordable price, fast speed and friendly service and I highly regret the decision.

Terrible service. For 4 weeks our Internet has sporadically worked. Mostly about two hours a day. We have called a minimum of 10 days in a row for service. Been a customer for several years now, and I would not advise others to get internet here. Customer service is terrible every time I call with an issue they say it’s my fault. I track the internet download speeds, you’ll never get what you pay for. I called them today just to have them tell me they don’t guarantee any download speeds on any devices computer, Xbox one, etc. I am plagued with spotty internet connections that go out constantly and poor speeds, whenever I pay for 200 megabytes a second. If customer service actually tried to troubleshoot and fix my problem, instead of constantly blaming me they wouldn’t be so bad. This company is a joke, I have had crappy or no internet since thew 9th and I keep getting the same BS that there is an outage they are working on and tonight I was told that is was different outages, the techs are liars, the service is borderline false advertising, and theyare basically stealing my money when they bill me because I havent had a decent month of internet is a very long time. I am going to see if they can be sued for breach of contract or something because they obviously do not care about the customer at this point and need a wake up call . The local office in texarkana and the techs in texarkana are completely inept and useless. I only gave one star because it wont do negative and will not let you post without it, just so you know.

I only have internet through Cable One. It’s pricey, but I always have an excellent signal in my apartment, so that helps me look over the pricey part. I do like how there is no contract- just pay month to month.

My bill has constantly increased since Starlight took over, to the point where it was disconnected. Called to have services reinstalled and was told would have to pay $25 deposit, plus $90 fee just to have it reinstalled.

Installer didnt like the way wiring was installed. Wanted me to rearrange furniture or get rid of some furniture to put TV in different location. I said no! He said just live with bad internet and TV service! Turns out, internet and TV service is great. The major problem I have is with channel selection. Pitiful! Out of 100 channels, I watch 6 and those 6 I can get with a indoor antenna! Sometimes nothing at all to watch! Cable One use to be great back in the day, not any more. One oftheir own people said all they care about is the internet side not the TV side. I believe it !!!Also my DVR and remotes are used. Time to go back to satellite! More channels for less money!!!

I was not told when I ordered WiFi that I would be upgraded if I went over data plan. When I had WiFi before but not Thur ya all we had was 100 gb no and there was 4 people using and we never went over.. I feel I should been told what happen when I ordered .

Pathetic installation service. Wires are just attached to the outside of my house. Unacceptable. The installation was never finished, but they sure charged me for full installation. Cables are just thrown over fences. How are they going to bury that when I finally DO get them back out to finish the job? I bought 1Gb service and received 220Mb because they dont have the 1Gb service where I live. Why did they allow me to purchase 1Gb then? The refund can take months to receive.When I had AT&T service at least I got what I paid for and when there was a problem (which was quite often) AT&T owned their mistakes and refunded me immediately.Cable One is awful.

This was the best decision to leave Windstream to return back to cable one internet, service has been much better and havent rexrecei 1st bill yet but the receptionist was reassuring that our bill would be in a nice billing $$$ (thanks again)💪👌

3 years ago, I was only paying $70 for service. Now, 2019, Im paying nearly $90 for service. Since their change in company the internet service has gotten even worse. I am in the process of looking for a different provider.

Great internet but the price is extremely expensive. Basic cable is $75 plus internet $50 once tax is added Im out of $140+ each month with hardly any channels. I wish they could do something about the prices and channels because the two does not mix well together.
