This G. thompson is a swindler. Im surprised this place gets even a star! In 2003 I replied to a rental property on Craigslist. Of course, at this exact address, I paid a key deposit to look at rentals. These apartments are SLUM of the worst!!! This clown, Mr slumlord, was grilling me about unjust parking tickets. He said I was no good. And try to get they key deposit back??????? If he is now doing rent to open, I can only imagine the horrors.

Stay away from their properties! The business is ran improperly, and when a landlord uses doxpop to run background checks it should be known that they dont do proper checks. Maybe if they did they wouldnt be out so much money on most of their tenants. I fixed the place up knowing I wouldnt get compensation and paid rent on time. Not only was my deposit taken but they say I owed money? When the property is in better condition then I moved in? So your better off being a terrible tenant, and not paying. They dont even go out to do proper walk throughs upon move in. They dont do a walk through with you upon move out either. Its not like any of the properties from them I have seen are properly maintained. I moved in and sewer gas was venting in the attic! Until I fixed it myself, sure I could of called but when you see what hack jobs of plumbing work are already done, then you would understand not wanting to call them for anything if you have the knowledge to do it right. So I am being charged for painting, which the house wasnt freshly painted when I moved in. I am being charged for hauling off their awnings which I had permission to take down. I am also being charged $70 for cleaning because of a dog smell! The smell that was present was the fact that the basement is a dirt floor and its musty when empty, and no air flow exisisting. To haul off three awnings and a plastic bumper their maintenance charged over 20 hours to clean up! Even though they tell me that I was a great tenant and left it in better condition than what other tenants have. Also I paid a deposit for the dogs which would have covered the cleaning since the dogs did no damage. Which I believe was a non refundable deposit. I would say what kind of landlord they are, we all know the term, but that might be considered slander. Thats fine with me, just thought I would share if you are considering them!
