Son and his family relocated to Terre Haute and moved in the first of September. Just prior to their arrival one of their friends did a walk through and took pictures. After rental agreement signed and deposits made, she returned with vacuum cleaner to at least sweep the nasty carpet.Hubby and I arrived within a week of their move-in. We were appalled at condition of the unit. I use to have a real estate license and handled a number of single and multiple rental properties. Basic management was to make sure properties were cleaned and repairs done orior to new tenants taking occupancy. This included cleaning appliances, bathroom fixtures, blinds and windows and installing new toilet seats!This apartment had not been cleaned! Carpet throughout was nasty dirty with stains and filth that vacuuming will not remove. Spider webs and dirt cobwebs in every room along the ceilings. Live spiders and other insects inside. Dirty, nasty and broken toilet seats that they had to replace. Filthy windows, ledges and blinds.The unit has a garage but no remote opener was provided.Question would be if so called “management” is billing owner for “cleaning” and “repairs.”

The area is nice and quiet, and good pricing for size with garage and porch.....BUT may not be worth the trouble.Just pray the apartment doesnt have things missing or broken at time of moving in. Two Neighbors moved in with issues of dust caked on the air filters, odors, broken water heater, and more.The landlord Rhonda does not help tenants with issues ...if she does help them within reasonable time period if at all. Landlord refused to fix AC for elderly women during summer!Deposit/refund took 4 months to return and was insufficient from status of apartment. Deposit refund decreased drastically due from damages to a room that was never used except to store boxes.Strongly suggest against!
