I lived here for 4 years and absolutely loved it. My roommate and I had little to no maintenance issues and maintenance staff was always prompt. The location is quiet and conveniently located next to grocery stores and banks. The staff here goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and even work to learn their residents names. I wish I could take this apartment and move it to Texas where I wound up moving because theyre pretty much perfect!

Sycamore Terrace is very accommodating. Whenever I have a concern, the staff is quick to help me out and answer any questions I have. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a different place to live. It is located within walking distance of Walmart, Meijer, Monicals Pizza and a variety of other fast food chains and store/gas stations. Minutes away from the I-70 and 641 bypass.

Sycamore Terrace made the entire process of moving in a breeze! In the beginning things got changed due to availability but they were super nice in hardline those issues and creating a welcoming environment. I came from a different apartment complex that was completely the opposite and I couldn’t be happier with my experience so far as well as the unit! 😍 having a dog friendly complex as a whole is so nice as well with a convenient dog park. I did not think I would be this happy in living here but it is amazing! Austin and Becca helped so much with any questions, concerns and random visits we had! Couldn’t have asked for more honestly.

Sycamore Terrace has been home to me for quite sometime now. It’s conveniently located, well equipped with amenities for use inside & out of the apartment home. There’s always friendly staff that are willing to help answer any questions or fix any issues that arise. In short, 5 stars were given because ST offers everything I could ask for and more for the price, safety & comfort of my luxury living standards.

Sycamore Terrace is a great living facility. It is a quiet environment, and the grounds are well maintained. The living is stress free. Maintenance issues are taken care of promptly. Pool, patio, grill, dog park, and workout area are a few amenities. The complex is close to shopping, I-70, restaurants, and convenient care. I truly appreciate the friendliness of Brooke and her team who go above and beyond to make this place a pleasant place to live. Thank you!!

The office and maintenance staff do a great job and are always timely!Adding on - When I was moving out of the area, but had a very fast move time, the office staff was really helpful figuring out the best way to end my lease. They were more than friendly and flexible with my changing timeline. I 100% recommend living at Sycamore Terrace!!

By far the best complex I have ever lived in. I lived in a two bedroom with a garage so the apartment was above the my one car garage and another apartments one car garage. I hardly ever heard any neighbors except for garage doors opening from time to time. Im not sure what the other units sound like so Im just sharing my experience.It is very pet friendly here, and a lot of owners have pets so that the pets can play together. But you rarely hear a dog barking, and making a lot of noise. There is a dog park in the back of the complex when your dog can just run around and have a good time, or practice obstacle training.The customer service here is fantastic. They were always very friendly in the office. They were happy to receive my packages when I was out of town. Any maintenance issues were handled promptly and professionally with great care.Sycamore Terrace returned my deposit less a standard carpet cleaning fee and no additional charges. If you can find the right pricing, it is worth it to live here.

My parents taught me that if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all. So for comments regarding Sycamore Terrace Apartments.... I will say nothing at all.Im editing my review due to the stock response I received. I want everyone to know that issues were discussed and put in writing. When we got our keys and checked out the apartment we found; broken microwave, broken ice maker, broken dish washer and dirt/dust and cobwebs. Local management team seemed empathetic, however their upper management didnt see that as a problem.

I have lived here for a year now. It is safe, clean, quiet and very nice. The office staff is friendly….even after you sign the lease. The maintenance staff is friendly and competent. This is the nicest complex in the Terre Haute area by far. It is definitely worth the extra money if you can do it. They offer free cable as of now and that saves you a bit. I have lived in many apartment communities over the past twenty years - all on the East Coast. It’s an apartment…so yes, when the neighbor next door leaves, you hear them close the door. If there is a dog nearby, you will hear it bark. We have police officers in the community and I like that quite a bit. It is very comfortable here.

I have lived here 2 1/2 years and have been very impressed as this is my first time ever living in an apartment, Brooke and her staff are very personable and willing to take care needs as they arise. The maintenance people are very thorough when completing a job and will take care of things not even on work order. The complex is extremely quiet and close to I-70, shopping and dining. I did look at other complexes before choosing Sycamore Terrace but haven’t regretted my decision to rent here.

Just moved in a few months ago, its a very beautiful safe place and has lots of amenities which all make the price worth it, I really appreciate Rebecca and the whole maintenance team for all the work they do

Ive been living here since May 2019, when I moved off-campus for my Sophomore year of college. The surrounding scenery is very beautiful. The facilities provided are very nice: As a member of the community, I get to use the on-site gym for free. Also, this business is very responsive, and will fix any issues you have (clogging, water pressure, etc) within a day.I will definitely continue staying here until I graduate.

This was my first time renting an apartment and I must say, its been amazing! Ive heard so many horror stories from friends and family about how terrible landlords can be, but I was so pleasantly surprised about this place! The staff here is so welcoming and nice! They helped us every step of the way from touring, to selecting an apartment, to move-in, to payments! I am so happy that we chose this place because not only is our apartment beautiful, but the amenities are great! Ive only been to the pool once, but it was still a great experience! I also plan to use the gym soon. Also, every time weve had an issue and needed maintenance, their crew came and fixed the issue within a day! I highly recommend this place. Its in a great area too! Right next to two grocery stores, and has lots of restaurants as well!

I moved to Sycamore Terrace in March 2017, and absolutely love it here. The complex provides all the amenities an individual needs. Location and setting is beautiful. What I think sets Sycamore Terrace above others is the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff. I couldn’t ask for a better place to live!

I relocated to Terre Haute for work and Sycamore Terrace was the only place I toured while here for my interview. After touring and seeing the quality of the apartment, the Location and most importantly the friendliness of the staff l was sold. Brooke and her team are very easy to work and communicate with. I would 100% recommend this as a place to live.

Id like to express how amazing the maintenance staff is at Sycamore Terrace. They always to go above and beyond to complete the Service Request, and in a timely manner.It’s easy to overlook or take the Maintenance team for granted. However those are qualities that I consider when I renew my lease or move into a complex. The complex could look amazing, having staff that care is what makes it home.It’s also a quiet area, my furbaby always enjoys going to the doggie park!

Nice people nice community

We looked at a lot of different apartments complex, not one compare to Sycamore Terrace for the Luxury, professionalism and friendliness. Brooke is really sweet and she will go the extra mile for you. We love Sycamore Terrace, we moved here because our twin girls, they attend Rose-Hulman Institution of Technology which is so convenience and close by. If you get a chance to look around either the staff or college students have lived here before or present. It’s a wonderful, and pet friendly place. Our little terrier puppies love it here as well. We have lived on the bottom floor and upstair units. Everyone here is very friendly with dogs, Some or most residents here like to go to the little dog park. We have decided to extend our stay here until our girls graduate college. Also, they have 24 hrs maintenance, that we have not had to use. It is a beautiful place to call to home!!!

The price is quite high compared to area apartments, but depending on which apartment and the time of the year you can lock in an okay price. But here is the deal... I went with the cheap Village Quarter apartments down the road and dealt with a very rude property manager and awful building conditions. I got charged insane pet cleaning fees, unnecessary charges, and never got back a deposit from them. Actually, when said and done I paid MORE to live at VQ than I ever did at Sycamore Terrace. Sycamore Terrace returned my deposit less a standard carpet cleaning fee and no additional charges.I must say I have lived in many apartments and this was by far the best complex I have ever lived in. I lived in a one bedroom with a garage so the apartment was above the 2 car garage. I hardly ever heard any neighbors except for garage doors opening from time to time. Im not sure what the other units sound like so Im just sharing my experience.The customer service here is fantastic. They were always very friendly in the office. A few days after my move in they called to make sure everything went smoothly with the move-in. They were happy to receive my packages when I was out of town. I let them know of some troubles with some of the utility companies after move-out and they took care of it.If you can find the right pricing, it is worth it to live here.

Awesome place to live. Very clean. Also very close to i-70. But whoever set up the apartment numbers and the order theyre in was on crack cocaine when they were doing it. There is no consistency with the numbers in the roads. As a pizza delivery driver it is a reoccurring nightmare every time I deliver there

Overpriced, snobby neighborhood, probably a bunch of rich man wannabes who WONT allow you to smoke on grounds. In the building is understood, but on grounds is too far. The place is relatively new, but you hear upstairs quite clearly. I hope the people are using protection as I heard a different name sometimes twice a night. Its Indiana so the bugs are huge, almost palmetto bug like. Near I 70 and a Walmart, access and shopping is convenient. Meiers is right across 46. I hope the price is below $1000 per month for a 2 bedroom otherwise the tenants are being ripped off, but the garage is convenient. Sorry for being so negative, my experience there was not so great.

Been living here for 6 months now and these are the nicest apartments in the area! Location is so convenient with Walmart, Meijer, Aldi, and I-70 right there. More stuff being built nearby too. Staff is great, grounds are always clean, and maintenance staff is a pleasure. Highly recommend these apartments!

I have to leave a review for people out there who are considering renting at sycamore terrace. This is the best apartment in terre haute. Its professionally managed, staff are friendly, neighbors are nice (at least mine are), maintenance came within 2minutes after calling. Internet and cable is included, its pet friendly, even my dog is happy.

The apartments are very nice. My issue is that the website pricing is not even close to the actual pricing. I drove from out of town to visit sycamore terrace. I was told on the phone different information then when I arrived to the complex. It is very frustrating being lied to over the phone.

Very quiet complex !!

Lived at Sycamore Terrace on a 15 month lease in a Two Bedroom, Two Bathroom, one-car garage/upstairs unit. Overall, my experience was an average one. It was overly priced. With utilities, rent, and a pet fee, my expenses were pushing $1350-$1450 a month, depending on the time of year with electricity (Way too much considering this is Terre Haute, Indiana). Do not listen to the leasing consultant about the average electricity bill per unit, I can assure you it will be 2-3x higher. The amenity of having Spectrum internet and cable included is nice, then again, it is terrible service. TV channels are bad HD quality and the Internet is sketchy at times. Also, you have to go down to Spectrum and deal with their rude staff. Upon move out they force you to get your carpet cleaned by a professional company or they offer to clean it but they will beat around the bush in giving you a total cost. 1/3 of the machines in the fitness center are broke. Zero treadmills worked one night I visited, not sure if they are fixed yet or not. The pool is enterable by a key-code, people give this out so during the summer there are always people who do not even live at the apartment complex in the pool area..pretty annoying. There is a round-a-bout at the main entrance. Be cautious!! 3x walking back from Fitness Center I was almost hit by cars who cut through it incorrectly. The management office will send email after email after email, saying “Tattle Tails” for people’s who’s dogs poop in your yard but don’t clean it up. However, they don’t ever do anything about the problem. There are a ton of Rose-Hulman kids who live at this place, don’t let them fool you into thinking it is where “young professionals” live. More kids, than adults and you will notice it whenever it’s a Saturday night and kids are outside walking around drunk waiting for Uber’s. Overall, if this place dropped in price, I would live here again with a few exceptional changes.

I have lived here almost 5 years and love it! The office staff go out of their way to help with any issues. Maintenance arrives immediately, usually within an hour, with any issues that may come up. The community is safe and residents are very friendly. The apartments have spacious bedrooms and lots of storage space. The previous review, stating they were not allowed to renew lease??? You are asked at least 3 months before your lease is up, if you want to renew....so maybe they ignored the notice? I have never seen bugs either, just a few spiders from living by the woods and they were outside. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for place in Terre Haute. The price may look high, but they are very energy efficient, my highest electric bill was 130. My highest water bill was 48 and this includes sewage and trash pick up and other things. The cable and internet is included in the price, you have a 24 hour gym, outdoor cooking area, pool and it is within walking distance to Wal Mart. The schools are also great, if you have kids.

Absolutely terrible.. waste of money, very thin walls, infestation, cracks under the doors, when i moved in the apartment was still dirty, didnt even allow me to renew my lease, water doesnt get hot, I had so many problems living on this apartment. They are rather cheap. I wouldnt recommended thsee apartments to anyone.
