Bay’s Heating & Air Conditioning did a great job for us. They showed up on time, installed a new air conditioner in a timely manner, cleaned up after themselves, explained the warranty terms and presented us an invoice for exactly what they had quoted the job would cost. Very pleased with the price, their service technicians as well as their customer service representative Rhonda in the office. We recommend them to anyone in the Terre Haute, Indiana area.

Installed complete heating and cooling system. We called many people and their estimate was one of the best. But you got a bigger better system with Bays. The other thing is they were quick to get out here and give us an estimate. One business told us it would be 3 weeks and another took over a week to get the estimate back to us. They were quick to get us the estimate and schedule the service. Warranty is exceptional. Guys that did install were great and all was done in 1 day. Also the air filter system they put in is wonderful.

Hottest week to have an A/C issue. Called and John Bays was at my house within 15 minutes. He confirmed what I kinda knew..I needed a new system and in less than 24 hrs I had a new system up and running. I have used this company for different heating and cooling needs for years and have always found them to be very professional, quick to provide service, and priced competitively. So when I needed a new system it just made since to call them, and as normal they did a fantastic job. Everyone I talked to was very professional and knowledgeable. The installers had the old system out very quickly and cleaned up everything. Even put blankets down on the carpet. The install went well and the new system started with no problems. The furnace and a.c. have worked great so far.

They advanced me on their installment list because my old heater quit. The appraiser came out the day I called and the installers showed up the following morning. The tech that came out to inspect the old system was very knowledgeable & courteous. Explained everything, took the time to answer all my questions. They were able to come out the same day I called them! The techs that installed the new system were great, explained the new system, the new contract etc. great service all the way around! Bays took advantage of my 84 year old mom. Had a brand new home built, and the drain for the evaporator clogged. Bays convinced her that her Rudd heat pump syestem was a cheap system and Bays charged her $10,000 (for a 1600 SQ foot home) to replace the entire syestem. Like it or not Bays, it is what it is. Given the opportunity, they will take you!

I had a furnace go out on Christmas day. We contacted Bays to look at it the following day and they were out the following business day. They were timely and very professional. There was an issue with the furnace heating properly and an associate was out at 9 oclock that evening. He quickly got it fixed and we have had no problems since. My furnace quit on a Sunday night, one of the coldest nights of the year. They came the next morning and temporarily repaired the old furnace. A crew returned to install a new one. They were extremely professional. I feel that I have purchased a quality product. They even filed a rebate for me.

They were just great. Showed up exactly when she said they would be here, and got the job done in a timely manner. Showed me all of the work they did and explained all of the new to me. Bays Heating installed the Platinum series furnace and AC in our house. The 3 installers worked seamlessly together and were polite, clean and knowledgeable with the service. Explanations were given at each interval during the process. All questions that I posed were given. The new thermostat was explained and instructions were given. The owner, John Bays initially responded to my call by coming personally to our house the next morning. John seemed very well prepared to answer all questions with no pressure. I was given 3 options in price and needs for our house. This was much like in 2015 when I had a new system installed in my parents house. That was a very pleasant experience then as was the latest process. I would not hesitate to recommend Bays Heating for any of your needs!

I am totally impressed with Bays Heating & Cooling. They came to my house at 1:00 a.m. on Christmas morning when no one else would. I chose to have a new furnace installed on the following Saturday. The installers were courteous and efficient. I definitely will be recommending this company.

Tried calling them when we were having furnace problems no one ever answered the phone. Left name and number on answering machine when they did finally call back after we had waited more than 30 minutes we had gotten someone else the receptionist didnt act like she was concerned, she could have at least said I hope you get your furnace fixed soon or I am sorry I missed your call but no nothing just bye and hung up.

They were on time and very friendly and professional. John Bays was very honest with me in what needed done and why. He did not push me to make a decision. The service guys were friendly and knew what they were doing and did it in good time. They left nothing behind and cleaned up their mess. Highly recommend them!

We called on a Sunday due to no A/C. We were advised Sundays would result in a higher service call. As we suspected the a/c was shot. Tech advised new unit, company called back with a 35% higher install than 2 other companies. We received a bill today from Bayes for $125.00. There was no repair done at the time, no temporary fix, nothing but advice. I called, the lady was short with me, stating I was warned of the fee. However, NOTHING WAS REPAIRED for that fee. Never again we we use this company for any reason. Supreme fit the bill!

A Bays technician inspected our furnace and discovered a Carbon monoxide leak. We chose to replace our entire HVAC system. The installers were excellent! They were professional and efficient with our installation.

We were without AC during July heat. Bays gave us same day service and next day installation of a replacement unit. The price they quoted was best and the installation went smoothly. The technician was competent, efficient and hard working. I recommend Bays highly.

Bay’s sent a technician out on the same day we called about our AC leaking. I was never happy with the cheap unit that was in our home when we bought it. After looking at the leaking issue and the condition of our air conditioner on the inside, John, our technician, helped us decide on an American Standard 18 seer variable stage unit.Was installed the next day. Installation went well.The unit is amazing. Very quiet and the whole house feels cool all the time.So quiet inside as well as the outside heat pump unit.Looking forward to enjoying it for years to come.Thank you Bay’s.

My mom and dad air conditioner was not working properly . We called them out to look at it and they advised that the compressor was going bad. they said they could get it working but it would just be a band aid and we would have to replace it in the future due to the age of the unit they choose to have it replaced and the furnace also. Bays was out in 2 days to replace everything very polite and answered every question, Treated my mom and dad with respect and will get all of our families business in the future. They went above and beyond to help them out . They also cleaned up after the installation. We would recommend them to anyone.

Bays was able to come out the same day to look at my unit even though they had many other customers that day. Mark was so wonderful and made sure I was satisfied with the work done. He said I needed a new unit but was able to make my current unit last through summer. Once cold weather hit I had to get the new unit and called Mark again. He came that very day and made calls to ensure I had heat and even offered to bring in electric heaters from his home so that my family was not cold. Rhonda was great to work with to help with financing needs. The guys installing the unit were quick and efficient. I felt the price was reasonable compared to other companies, and the service was superb! Mark even stopped by my home later in the day to make sure I was happy with the new unit since he had not been there to install it himself and went above and beyond to make me feel that I truly mattered. I recommend this company to everyone! Ive never been treated so well from a company!

We had been debating on getting our heating & air conditioning replaced & upgraded for some time. Bays came out a couple times to give us quotes & we chose them due to the American Standard products as well as them being available 24/7 if we are to have any issues. The installers were very good at cleaning up after themselves at the end of the day. All & all has been a great experience & we would highly recommend them.

Our furnace we found out could not be repaired. We had the guys at Bays to put us in a new one and everything came together very good. I cant brag on them enough. I called on Monday and got a new AC unit on Tuesday. If you call in their off-season they will get you in and get it done quick. They were punctual, respectful, left the house clean, and installed a quality unit. They also gave me a quick estimate and stuck to the estimate price. This is the 2nd time we have used Bays and I would highly recommend them.

Bays did an excellent job installing our new heat pump and new ductwork in our attic. They were quick at getting us our estimate and got the job started and completed a lot faster than expected. Their price was reasonable and their whole team was friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this company!

Our new heating/cooling system is doing an efficient job of keeping us cool and our indoor humidity low. We look forward to seeing lower heating bills with the cold weather. Mike, Theo and Cole were great installers, John Jr. s explanations were most helpful, and our rebate from Duke Energy arrived recently.

During a general inspection of my 2 year old unit mold was found inside the air handler. The unit was wet due to a dripping condenser coil. I was advised to replace my cheap unit with a new $8000 unit. The condenser coil housing was not open to check closer, not even a replacement of the coil itself was recommended.Another contractor found insulation foam on the condenser coil that makes it difficult for the condensation water to drain, additional the source of the insulation foam was found.The part that made me the most upset about Bays was, he refused in a 2nd call to change the coil even after i directly request to start with this cheaper solution. I even told him, i wont hold him reliable for it, since he doesnt trust Ameristar.Allover from Bays end there was no effort made to provide me a cheap solution, only the most expensive solution was an option. Reading comments below it seems, that is his common strategy so if you want to say something good about them, he is a good salesman and it seems he found his clientel that is happy with it .... good luck. When somebody will ask me who i can recommend .... my statement will be Whatever you do, dont go Bays!!

I woke up on a Sunday morning and realized i had no heat. I called Bays and they responded within an hour. They told me I needed a new furnace, the one I had was really beyond its years. By 2:00 that afternoon they had obtained and installed a new furnace at what I considered a reasonable price. They returned the next day to make sure everything was working correctly, make some adjustments, and fix a minor problem. I was impressed with their promptness, efficiency, and concern. I would recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work.

Great job! The only negative I could possibly come up with was the time between service call and new installation. I believe that was beyond their control due to time of year and seems everyone has air problems in the spring. They were on time and cleaned up after themselves. Couldn’t tell anyone had been working on anything. Great job guys!

So happy with our decision to go with Bays, every single person we delt with was super friendly, and they were very quick and efficient. My furnace stopped working in the middle of the night. I called Bays at 8AM and they had a tech at my house within 2 hours and had my furnace running within 15 minutes of him showing up. Great service.

One of the Bays vans just almost hit me and my kids while I was trying to turn to go home. I dont know if he didnt see my signal or if he just didnt care. I was trying to turn left and he passed me while I was turning. If Id turned he would have hit my car. Then he flipped me off for Id assume, going too slow. Very unprofessional and disappointing

We hadnt needed air until it got really hot with heat index over 100 degrees. Of course, when we turned it on, it was not working. We called for an estimate and got one the same day. The next day, we were having a complete air conditioner/furnace unit put in. The installers were here on the day and time they promised and within a few hours, we were up and running. What a relief. We were pleased with the price, the warranty, and the extra but minimal cost to have yearly maintenance check ups. We couldnt have asked for better service or a better price for all that it entailed.

We met John Bays nearly 30 years ago when our first owned home had the furnace go out. One call less than 30 hours later our furnace was up and running. We got a next day appointment for a quote on getting a new furnace installed & John was very patient with all our questions and he was honest about what our options were. EXCELLENT. I had time to get four quotes on replacing a old oil heating system. Asked for a combination heat pump and oil furnace. They suggested that I go to gas due to the efficiency ratings. It was a lot of work on my side to remove the oil tank and furnace but Im sure we did the right thing. Used the old duct and plenum as it was large enough.They set the whole system in one day. They were clean and professional. Even made my 90 year old parents feel comfortable. The heat pump is working and waiting for the gas company to set a tank and line.I got more for my money too.ExcellentHoward

We called Bays in the evening after coming home to a cold house. They had our furnace replaced VERY quickly. All the staff was amazing! Highly recommended!

I was in a bind when my air conditioning went out. When Bays came out, they told me I should probably get a new unit, as mine was outdated. Initially this made me nervous, but they put all my fears to rest. I got more-than-fair pricing, and the crew was very quick to respond. I now have top of the line American Standard equipment, and my house has never felt so comfortable. I had lots of annoying questions but they answered them ALL without any annoyance! I highly recommend them. They are by far the best.

Our furnace ignitor went out yesterday. The part was $22 on Amazon but we needed heat right away as we have a 16 month old. Bays wanted $360 for the service call and part. It was Sunday, but that is ridiculous. Another local company showed up within 30 minutes, fixed the furnace and the service was $120 + part cost. Im disappointed but would agree with other reviews. This company appears to take advantage of its customers.

Called on Wednesday to to have someone come out to look at the air conditioner and Mark was there within the hour. We needed a new unit and it was installed the very next day. Great customer service and very prompt.

My furnace went out on a cold night last week. I called about Midnight, the phone was answered and they set up an appointment. They were here at 8:30 am the next morning. Very professional, very efficient. The unit was done and replaced and I had heat that same day

I guestimated that my heat/air unit would go out soon as it was 18 yrs old. It leaked water, caused some minor mold, and made parts of the floor spongy. Bays came out and told me that I could replace the upper half (plugged up) for about a 3rd of a new one, but everything was rusty, it was old, so I thought it was time for a new one. Since Im total electric John suggested a heat pump and I went with it. They also moved the thermostat (the west sun always hit the old one through the kitchen window) and installed a larger return air vent. Ive only had it installed a half of a day and I notice that the air is fresher. Awesome work guys! Thank you Bays!

We had Bays Heating & Cooling perform a “spring check” of our air conditioner. They informed us we needed the compressor replaced and that it would cost us $2800.00. We decided to get a second opinion from a reputable heating and cooling company. They found nothing wrong with it and it has been working perfectly. DISHONEST BUSINESS ALERT!!

Keeping you in the comfort zone for less is certainly true. They installed a new furnace for me a few years ago and were thousands cheaper than anywhere else. Now Ive finally put in central air into my old house and they were the only ones I called. Great service and all the staff is very courteous.

My husband and I had been having problems with our AC keeping up for the past two summers and the company we had our AC from couldn’t figure out the problem, Johnny came out and figured it out in 5 minutes, got us a new unit and had it installed the same day!!
