Not one person there that knows what there doing. do not recommend to someone who wants a real haircut. might be good for someone who is 80 years old.

I like Stew, but he was busy. Got my hair cut by some lady who pretty much had no idea what she was doing it seemed. I wanted a mid fade.. She shaved the sides of my hair and left the top uncut and untrimmed, totally forgot what I asked for and made up some wild style that I didnt vibe with. Get Stew. Hes the dude.

Been going to Stews for years. I consider Stew and his barber shops a Temecula Valley icon. It is the little things that have kept me coming back year after year. Friendly people, family-oriented, and taking a cut up to closing time. These are some of those little things.I was disappointed today at the Rancho Cal location. At 10 minutes to the hour and nobody on the waiting list, I was turned away. I have come to value (and tip accordingly) the option to pop in on occasion near closing time and be welcomed in.Not today. It would seem that Stews has joined the ranks of the lazy chain stores with their slapdash, impersonal disregard for customer service.I do not plan on returning. There are plenty of other barbers who will happily take my business.

This guy has been cutting hair for almost half of a century. Very nice guy. Shop is very cool. Oh and does a great job. Hes the little fella.

Barber was in a rush. I brought my toddler in for a hair cut and couldn’t tell the outcome because his hair was wet and combed to the side. But when it’s dry it looks like they put a bowl on his head and cut around it. I don’t even want to bring him back to get this fixed so I’ll be taking my son to another shop to fix his hair. These guys can’t cut hair. Not to mention when I called to schedule an appointment the first response I got was “stews shop, I see your area code is 949 this location is in Temecula” This is not the way to answer your phones and greet potential customers, it was actually rude. I am aware my area code is 949 I moved here from Orange County. Doesn’t mean I need to change my number to fit the area code.

Took my toddler for a haircut, the lady was really nice with him but unfortunately she didnt fade his hair and you can see the long and short patches on him, and is not like you can say he move while she was doing his hair. Wont be back

Addie was awesome, effiecient and nice to talk to. I have been going to stews since i was young and she has to be one of the best if not the best next to stew when it comes to giving the haircut you are looking for! Highly reccomend going to her. Thank you!

You need an appointment! But they work dang hard to squeeze you in if they can. Outdoor seating while waiting.

Favorite haircut in Temecula. Military discount and Stew is fun to talk with. Really cool atmosphere. Lots of old toys on the walls and sports stuff.

I never submit reviews but this place was so bad I have to share my experience. I gave this place a try (multiple times) because I was new to the area and didnt know any better. The only good thing is they are close to my house and theres never a wait. I gotta give them credit for no waiting. I had a couple of somewhat bad fades but nothing I couldnt live with. One day, I walked in and Stew the owner cut my hair. I was excited because hes the owner so I thought this time Ill get a good haircut. Well, I was so wrong. I got the worst haircut ever! He was in hurry. I asked for a fade with a #1. How hard is that? One side looked like a zero while the other was a #1 both sides totally uneven and choppy. Ive never ever had a worst haircut. I went back after I looked in the mirror at home (he didnt even let me check before rushing me off the chair) so he could fix it and he wasnt even apologetic. I felt like I was annoying him because I wanted him to fix his horrible job. He tried but it was still horrible. I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. Even his own crew acknowledge how fast and bad he is. Their own feedback was Hes only good with crew cuts.

My new go to place for a cut. Good people and good conversation.

26 years going to see Stew, my boys were babies and both are grown and in the services. They still come home on leave and go to see Stew for haircuts. He trimmed us all for my youngest wedding this past summer. James Stew Steward, and men like him are what made and still make this country, state and city great.Thanks Stew

Took my nephew to get just a fade and I showed a picture of what he wanted and he left with patches and no fade. If you’re an older person this place might work. Younger generations and urban cuts, I don’t recommend at all. For the type of cut my nephew got I would not even give one star. I wish they would have said “we don’t know how to do that type of hair cut”.
