I have been a customer of Tina for 12+ years. And I left United Nails and Tina when my mom got fungus so bad on her big toe so bad it now permanently damaged. But she reopened so we decided to give her a try again. BIG MISTAKE. As you see in the photos provided it’s not any better. EVERYTHING USED WAS NOT CLEANED. You can see in the photo as well how used the Mr. Pumice Bar I felt so gross sitting there. My feet have been itchy ever since. They don’t use new buffer pads or nail files either. I have been to 4 other nail salons where they sanitize everything multiple times in front of you plus tools are in a sealed clean bag before they start working in you. All files at other salons are new and thrown away in a trash where you can clearly see previous files also thrown away not reused. Also they don’t clean the tub shower head or the filters. I went with my mom and nephew with Mae, Lisa, and Kim and all of them used, used foot scrubbers. I regret going there I will never return. And I strongly advice anyone who is thinking to go here you will see. Nothing will be clean or sterilized. There are so many other places including the place across the street that follows Sanitation Guidelines. Also she claims to be going up in price because supplies cost more or she needs to get more supplies and yet my scrubber pad which cost ($.50- $1.00) was clearly used on many MANY others. So she’s saving more. Just say your increasing prices plain and simple. Idk. I’m just shocked its 2021 do better.

Oliver is AMAZING! He takes pride in is craft and it shows. Whenever I get my nails done, I always get tons of compliments. If you want a pedicure, then ask for Mai and get a deluxe. Youll thank me later 😊

THE WORST NAIL SALON I’VE EVER BEEN TO. THEY DO NOT CLEAN THEIR TOOLS, I’VE SEEN THEM DO A PEDICURE AND THEN ANOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND NOT EVEN DISINFECT THE TOOLS!!! TINA, THE OWNER LITERALLY COUGHS WITHOUT COVERING HER MOUTH AND DOES NOT FOLLOW ANY OF THE CDC GUIDELINES. NOT TO MENTION HER HUSBAND, OLIVER, IS RUDE AND SCREAMED AT ME BECAUSE I DIDNT WANT TO PAY THE BIZARE AMOUNT THEY WERE TRYING TO CHARGE ME EVEN THOUGH I CALLED THE DAY BEFORE AND WAS TOLD A COMPLETE DIFFERENT PRICE. MIND YOU I DID NOT GET ANY DESIGNS OR ANYTHING EXTRA, JUST PLAIN NAILS. THE WORKERS DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH SO YOU CANT EVEN TELL THEM EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT FOR YOUR NAILS AND THEY END UP DOING WHATEVER THEY WANT. EVERY TIME I HAVE BEEN HERE, I LEAVE WITH CUTS ON MY CUTICLES AND UNEVEN NAILS. EVERY TIME, I HAVE MADE EXCUSES FOR THEM AND TRIED TO BE REASONABLE BUT AFTER WHAT I WENT THROUGH TODAY I AM DONE AND ALL OF TOWN AND COUNTRY SHOULD KNOW NOT TO COME TO THIS DISGUSTING “ESTABLISHMENT”. AND THEY CAN TRY TO MAKE EXCUSES TO DEFEND THEMSELVES BUT PLEASE BEWARE AND DO NOT COME HERE.

Oliver does a great job, but he’s the only person I go to after a couple not great experiences with other techs. The prices are really good, in my opinion, and I love that they are open on Sunday. I definitely suggest scheduling an appt as they do get very busy.

Oliver is the was great, he superseded my expectations! Very happy with the way my dipped nails turn out.

It was my first time getting services at United Nails and I am so impressed! I got a pedicure and a french full set and I am obsessed with how good they turned out! The salon was very clean and pretty. I don’t remember my techs names but thank you so much for doing an amazing job. I will definitely be coming back.

The lady doing my nails was very friendly, but her nail skills were not up to par. I asked for coffin nails and I repeatedly had to asked her to reshape them, because they were crooked. Then another lady took over to help, and let’s just say she was not any better. Of course I told them I wasn’t happy, and I did pay. But I will not be returning to this nail shop.

The facility is clean, the staff is friendly. I recently went in for a pedi and noticed everyone used a drill instead of a regular nail file, I assumed it was to cut down on time. That sounds great, but the drill ruined my actual nails. They have dents and ridges all over. I am really disappointed. Solely based on the drills, I will not be returning 😕

Reasonably priced but bad job. Nail tech slapped gel polish on me without the top coat when I told her I wanted regular polish. She dug at my nail beds HARDCORE until I had to ask her to stop and move on. She cut my nails FAR too short. Two coats of polish with BAD COVERAGE and NO TOP COAT.I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place. My nails look like I did them myself, half asleep.

First time here and I think last. I made an appointment for 5:30 with Lisa which was recommended by another customer. Arrived to the place first bad thing dont have enough parking for their clientele. Second, They either have more than one Lisa because they tell you seat down and doesnt say who it is Lisa in the mean time I am waiting without knowing who going take care of me. Third, they made appointment and the person had already client which made them be late for my appointment 25 min. She was in a rush making my pedi told not to cut inside nail she still did. 😒 afterall Pedi came out good Ok after bad experience give 3 star bcs that.

I always got nail fungus here. I will not recommend. And they always use drill instead of file. My nails are not even or heavily drilled. Messed up my nails. Not happy.

Terrible place everybodys telling everybodys business. people are calling people there is yelling everywhere is chaotic if you want somewhere to relax this is not the place .

I had a peticure here and I gotta start by saying that the massage was good she was really strong she was also really good at getting all the cuticle out. However my toe Hurst so much and she try to get all the cuticles out so bad that at times she cut me a lot. It was a good massage but I think I wont go back because my toes hurt soooo bad.

No one in the Tampa area compares to United Nails! I am able to show Tina a picture of what I want and she consistently delivers. No one shapes my coffin nails like she does and shes always knowledgeable of the nail design trends. The prices are affordable, Tina gets me in and out of the shop quickly, and I appreciate the fact she is a perfectionist. I trust her vision and I trust that she will give me a flawless acrylic set/fill every time. She is definitely gifted in her craft! Call before you come to make sure you get Tina, shes a well sought after gem!

I had my natural nails dipped and have really liked it but this time I have a couple issues. The dip is actually spread over the side of my nails and onto my skin. I really feel the technician was too busy video chatting to pay attention to what she was doing. She had one customer on the phone with with the line open while she was video chatting with friends or family. The customer finally got her attention and completed the call.Ill be going to another salon to have the edges of my nails corrected.

I love it they Always make me feel like the most important customer. Every visit they treat us so great.

I have been going to Tina since I was like 10 and I’m now 22. She did my nails for all of my middle school events and even some in highschool. Now that I’ve moved closer, I went today for a gel mani and pedi and the place looks amazing!! They re did everything and they were very clean and careful with COVID. I’m so happy I came back and got to see Tina! If you haven’t been here yet, give it a try!!

I loved the salon in general, it was vey big and updated. Appeared clean and had enough staff. I am very disappointed with the quality of my full set, as it was done fast and sloppy. My white nails were not polished completely and lumps visible on nails. These were my Christmas nails, first time there, and I was extremely upset! My daughter had pedicure and gel nails which peeled off after 3 days. What a disappointment and I will not recommend this shop to anyone who cares about detail and quality work.

THANK GOD they have reopened! I called first to be sure they were open and went in yesterday about 5 p.m. for a gel manicure and pedicure. They were great as usual. Kathy did my nails and designs and Jeanne did my pedicure! Everyone (myself included) had on face masks and thoroughly cleaned and sanitized everything. It was AWESOME! See you all next time Tina, Kathy, and Jeanne!

Omg, Tina is such an amazing person. She really care for people and not just her business. She personally treated me like a queen and made sure I got all my services done right and got me out of the spa looking and feeling so much better and no waiting time in between services, I got 2 services done at the same time. They are not super clean the lady was nice but she did my full set and I had to lay my hand on a rag with acrylic dust and broken nails, did a sloppy job on my nails got gel and the gel is already peeling off on the side of my Thumb and I iust got them done lastnight. Also did my eyebrows and was not cleaned very well at all!! If you go be sure to avoid this!

Man (appeared to be the manager) said he had time for acrylic touch up and kept saying youre next After waiting over a hour I left.

Tina is THE ABSOLUTE BEST NAIL TECH & NAIL SALON OWNER EVER! I would and could not go to any other salon! The salon has a nice and calm atmosphere. Everyone is greeted immediately upon arrival. I adore her creativity and professionalism that she provides every other week that I go to the salon!!!!

The nail tech really need to learn their own menu. My nail tech didnt offer anything additional.

There was a lot to dislike about this nail salon. My toes were sore after my pedicure from digging (and this never happens) and I have reason to believe I got a fungus on one of my nails from going here. An older Asian lady did my pedicure and a young Hispanic girl did my acrylics. An employee was allowed to bring their toddler child who interrupted the nail service countless times, dipped their fingers into the nail dip powders and to me that was extremely unprofessional and unhygienic. The price was decent but I will not be returning.

I love this place !!! They gel always last 2-3 weeks on my natural nails. I love the people always very natural and making sure you feel welcome and happy. I totally Recomended 👍🏻

Ive had my nails done at many places and they were recommended. Not impressed. My toenail polish is uneven. Nobody noticed it or asked what kind of nail polish I had on, so of course I had to wait while we did the soak off. I had the dip on my hands and she had me put my hands under the UV for the top coat. When she was done I washed my hands and then sat back down staring at her, expecting her to use acetone to clean all of the color globs on my skin. Nope she was busy chit chatting and never came back to see why I was sitting there. I gave up and said I will clean it up myself as I left. I see ripples in two of my nails, Im surprised because she used 3 different drummels on them to smooth them.

Ive been going to Tinas for 5 years now. Ive been living up north for a year & still get my nails done here because i like how they work & i fly back so often I can do so. She definitely knows what shes doing! Shes remodeled and expanded her space (it looks AMAZING) and is offering a few more services now ( try the volcano pedicures 😍). They treat everyone like a long time friend & I wouldnt change them for any other salon

I walked in for the first time, beautiful ceiling and glass looking marble tile all throughout, Zaina is very good doing pedicures, cleaning cuticles, leaving your feet breathing fresh air. The girl that works in the front made a comment about my tip to Zaina: Here, Only 5 dollars for you.

I’m not a complainer. I never left a bad review ever. But they messed up my nails completely!!! The lady didn’t go all the way to the edge of any of my nails nor my friends, which means we will have to come back in a week to get them redone ( we got gel). And we WAITED TWO WHOLE HOURS. I even told her it’s fine and that I would come back the next day MULTIPLE TIMES, since they were in such a rush, and she insisted she could do them now. Worst mistake. How can you make a customer wait two hours to do a job that you didn’t even do well? Someone please recommend a better nail tech, I need to find a new place.

I always get my nail done with ti she is great and sweet, but the owner Tina she is rude and nasty, instead of saying can I help you, she said, what do you want? As if I was asking her for a favor, and she should have some respect for her clients and employees. While getting my nails done she would argue with her employees, it makes a customer feel uncomfortable to be there. Tina you should learn some manners.

High disappointment. After they expanded this location, they completely Ignore what the customer wants. I been here for years and I today was my last day getting there service not only did Tina over charged . I stated to her no gel on my 10 year old daughter and she passes my card and charges $30 dollars for a child. Because she decided without parent permission to add gel on my daughter and instead of fixing her error still continue to charge my card. And even the mail tech said there expensive. I wouldnt mind paying the price if the service was worth it. They kick you out the chair to get the next person. For being a loyal customer for years I refuse to give her anymore my money there better places around.

I took my daughter here for a girls day and we had the best experience.I unfortunately didnt get my nail techs name, but he was awesome!I showed him a picture on my phone of what I wanted and he looked at it for a minute and said he could do it.I was expecting to have to show him the picture again later but he nailed it just from that brief look.I only wish I had gotten his name because I definitely would like him again. He was amazing!

I enjoy the service. They can do any type of nail and are very talented and detail oriented.

They have good pricing and the place is beautiful and organized but I dont like how the shape of my nails come out. I would return only for pedicure service :) The staff is nice and friendly as well

Im bittersweet with this place. theyre actually not bad at nails. They can do the shape I need and are quick. But both times I got a pedicure I have bled, screamed (which takes alot), or been in pain. The first time I went the lady cut my toe cuticle til I bled. This last time the guy pumice stones my foot so hard I screamed owe! And I have an open sore that hurts like hell. Not that this has effected me but both times Ive been there the boss lady is either yelling at customers or her employees. I just dont know about this place.

Have been going to Tina for 16 years now and I will not go anywhere else. I love all the new upgrades and relaxing environment.

Takes more time than the big shops, more individualized. I had a pedi w/gel and gf mani w/gel and art for $65. Only reason not 5 stars is they do tend to be a little pushy to upgrade. But awesome massage and attention to detail.

I used to come to this salon years ago with Tina and she will do beautiful designs....and the deluxe pedicures are great! Beautiful place and great staff. Last time I was there Tina Stared my acrylic nails then stoped several time to go do a wax for other clients. Before she did my color she said go seat on the pedicure chair. She stared working on someone else’s nails. When I was done with the peticure I had to wait for her to finish with another client. Finally it was time to do my gel nails. Now she left again to work on soaking someone gel nails and on another wax. This place has changed a lot. Will not be going back. Do not recommend this place

This place is just ok to me. Beautiful salon but the constant attempts to up-sell me where really annoying. I knew exactly what I want to have done. The pedicure took so long my legs became numb. She did way too much digging and cutting and it became quite painful. My gel polish was sloppy and polish was all over my fingers. I may give the place one more chance but overall I was not impressed.

Worst salon ever since Betty left. The owner rushes all of her nail techs to hurry up and finish to move on to the next customer and doesn’t care about the customers needs. Everything is rushed and the owner only cares about the money.
