They made me promises they didnt keep, lied to me, didnt pay me for my services or reimburse my travel, then ignored all my correspondence. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!Edit: Almost immediately after posting this review, I was contacted by a very concerned and helpful Maxim Employee Advocate, Ebony Wynter. She promptly addressed the issues and saw to it that they were rectified appropriately and in a timely manner.

Great company to work with and they always fine new cases hence you can always find shifts to cover. Just awesome management team; scheduler Amber who makes sure i have a fixed schedule and makes herself readily available to answer my questions, address my concerns or route my questions to the appropriate department or persons. Clinical supervisor Robert RN and Denise RN great supervisors to work with. Dave my recruiter with his gentle persuasion, was persistent in stimulating my interest to work with the company with his many emails and phone calls, which caused me to pursue employment with Maxim; thank you Dave. Ive been on/off working with Maxim for a little over a year. This is a great company to work for, they make sure you are up to date on all CEUs, courses and booster vaccines needed to maintain proper credentials. They care about you and their clients as one family. Their goal is to provide each client with a caregiver, that not only matches their needs with the necessary skill sets required, but in personality as well. I look forward to many years serving Maxims clients with my nursing skills.

Another typical example of a corporate run company caring more about money than the health and safety of the sick children they promised to provide care for.What kind of home health company for critical children cares more about the bottom line money, than providing the nursing care they promised to families in need?We’ve been with Maxim for 3.5 years. They decided they absolutely will not pay willing nurses overtime even if that means leaving the patient and families with no care. My husband has lost a job, and I’m on the verge of losing a job due to having to call out constantly when we have last minute shifts open for our son that they refuse to let our willing nurses work. They don’t care about the patients or the families. There is an extreme nursing shortage and even though they have good nurses willing to work extra shifts to help out these families with sick kids, Maxim does not care. It’s all about money with them. I’ve reached out to higher up people including Anthony Liberty and my concerns about our open shifts (even though our 2 nurses are willing to work them but are told they can’t) have been ignored. That just proves how little they care about the sick babies they promise to provide care for, and how much they only care about money.I NEVER write bad reviews, but I’m my sons advocate, and the poor care he’s been given has gone on long enough.

Nice company to work for if you love kids and/or home health. Great job for beginning nurses that want to have a small patient load but still use skills for trach, vents, colostomy, gtube, etc.

Good working experience with Maxim for many years. Wish we had a Polk CO. Office again.

Horrible for interview process. I had a great contracted interview, and the RN said I would be a great fit. I asked the recruiter if we are told either way. He said he would talk to his program manager and call me back that day.The following day he said, sorry she is on vacation and will be in tomorrow, then he emailed she was working from home, then the following day, he said the job is now prn. I had to reach out every day, he never let me know. I had two other offers, but Maxim had best hours. I finally said never mind because it was so disorganized. A lot of nurses apply to Maxim and I know two others that recieved a job from them and they had some issues. Its very rude not to communicate . I have never been so disappointed in the lack of communication. Waste of time. I will never recommend my nursing family to them.

Don’t work for maxim. The payroll department has zero disregard for getting their employee paid on time. They were suppose to express ship my paycheck to me on Friday but instead they ground shipped it on Monday afternoon. So now I will be getting paid a week late and they refuse to answer their phone and email me back. I will never work for maxim again
