Zack Bertrand walked me through my entire hair-pulling experience of setting up and documenting my hiring process for the 2020 election as a poll worker. I’m so impressed with this professional service and his competence that now that the election is over I’m planning to get his help with landing a permanent position.He didn’t have to do the hard work he actually did; he just happened to be by himself that day and worked out the numerous faxes and forms needed even though he is the branch director, and that’s impressive.This is the picture of me 6am Election Day.

I submitted an application for a ballot opener position and they contacted me about a day later. They had me come to their location for an interview. I was there for almost an hour because they wanted me to fill out paperwork and take a drug test, which is unusual during an interview. The guy who interviewedme (Zack), assured that he would reach out that afternoon but I received no response. Its been about 4 days since the interview and no one has contacted me. In the age of Covid and layoffs, I think its extremely unprofessional to have an applicant waste their time coming all the way to your office and fail to follow up. You guys CONTACTED ME for an interview, not the other way around. Thankfully, I was wise enough to move forward with another employer while interviewing with Staffex, just in case. Please be cautious of this company if they contact you and do not turn down other employers that may be simultaneously interested. Youve been warned.
