I went in with an old dress and this lady did not want to do it, making every excuse to it and then told me to lose weight so that I can fit the dress. I actually went to another place and they were able to fix the dress so I can fit in it. My mom also came along that day with a dress shirt and a shall. After explaining to this lady what she wanted we left the 2 items and she charged almost more than what we paid for the items. When we came back to get them, the shall was uneven and she made it into a bolero which is not what my mother wanted. And the shirt was still lose and big on one shoulder. She did the minimal work and she gives unnecessary opinions. She told my mother thats an older lady and small lady to stay away from buying shirts like that because its not for her!! My mother always has to fix her clothes because of her size and she can wear whatever she feels like!! This lady is very unprofessional and rude!! And even started arguing with me back and forth!! Lady remember this the costumer is ALWAYS right dont argue back and shut up! you are lazy and just took our money! If you have a business then put in the work as we are paying for it OR simple say you cant do it!! talking about I dont redesign clothes rude and unethical!!!

This place is phenomenal! The owner was very kind and helped me with simple alteration tasks. I brought in two longcoats and asked her if she could make pockets for them since they didnt come with pockets. She told me that every coat comes with pockets and showed me quick tricks to unsew the seal, which opened up pockets. Now I can put my hands inside my coat and feel so much more comfy in them. She didnt charge me a dime. She is very skillful and honest. She can at times come off a little more forthright and upfront, but she has no ill intentions and thats just the way she communicates. I highly vouch for this business.

She is very talented and pays attention to detail. I trust her with my most expensive dresses.She says it like it is and doesnt have much of a filter, but she is a very kind women. Her intent is never malicious. Its just an asian thing. Things get lost in translation and sometimes things come out a bit more harsh than intended.If you want quality work, go here. Our usual tailor closed down so we had to find a new place. We are so happy we found Hyon! She is very nice, very welcoming and extremely talented. My husband got four pair of work pants tailored and they fit PERFECTLY. We are happy to have our new favorite tailor.

The Absolute Best Person and Alterations Seamstress!

Amazing work!! I highly recommend Hyon for alterations. She is very friendly! I had a bridesmaid dress taken in and she did high quality work. Her prices are reasonable and she had everything done within one week. I will definitely be going back to her in the future!!

I agree that she is somewhat frank (as some here have complained). But, I can also tell you she will make sure your clothes fit as best can be, based on your body type. She actually made me laugh when I asked why she didn’t recommend a certain alteration I wanted. Frankly, she said my build wouldn’t work well with this look. Just know that you won’t be “that guy” who wears clothes that look silly on him. I definitely recommend her, and all of her quirkiness.

Hyon is such an awesome lady who does fantastic work; Ive never been disappointed with her quality of work and professionalism. As a matter of fact, she does such a great job that Im currently in Tampa for a short visit from Texas and brought her some clothes for alteration, hoping shell be able to finish all I need done before I fly back. On a side note, take cash or checks because she doesnt take plastic.

Hyon is fantastic, and also brutally honest. When I was contemplating having a cheap cocktail dress taken in, she recommended against it because her work on the paneling would cost more than the dress was worth.Wonderful, funny, and sweet. Id recommend her to anyone.

We will never go here again! The women insulted my mother by saying she had a broad bottom! She is so upset! We will never ever return! We got the dress back and when my mom confronted her she deneied about her rude comment. I even heard it myself.
