Katie is fabulous, fun and extremely talented. She managed to transform my shapeless bridesmaid dress into a gorgeous piece, that was so fit and flattering. She had it done on short notice too. This team is amazing! I received a bridesmaid dress a week before the wedding and it literally wouldn’t zip in the back. They let out as much as they could with the fabric around the zipper in less then 5 days.When I went back to try it on, we were able to get it to zip but the dress was still very snug. That day they worked some magic and let out the dress from the side seams. I came back, I kid you not, 6 hours later and it was perfect!I highly highly recommend this team! It was worth every penny and they made it happen! Great service and great work! 5 Stars isn’t enough!

Ive been going here for years and had multiple things done. Length of dress shortened, Liner added inside a dress, chest taken in because it was too large, etc. Everything Ive ever had done has come out perfect. Highly recommend.

I brought my uniform pants and casual dress shirt here to get tailored. The lady running the business is super nice and helpful. She definitely knows what she is doing and does it well. The quality of their work is what I would consider perfect. I checked the fitment of my pants and shirt, and they fit wonderfully! I will definitely be back for more uniform items that need alterations and tailoring!Price is good and fair. It goes off the chart of fast and cheap is not good. Good and fast is expensive. I would definitely not consider it expensive by any means, but prepare to spend a little extra to get exceptional work and have it done by the deadline. They are definitely Express.

As a smaller guy, I struggle to find dress clothes that dont look like garbage bags on me. After getting this suit and having the seller practically refuse to tailor it as slim as I wanted, I made the right choice bringing it to Express Alteration. The owner knew the exact style I was going for and made sure to fit the suit perfectly to me.If you have a suit you need slimmed down, definitely take it here! Youll be happy that you did.

Service here is wonderful and the owner is great. I recently had a few clothing items altered here, such as pants, a romper, and shorts for my husband. There was a slight issue with the romper, being taken in too much at the bust. They fixed it immediately so I could have it before I left on vacation.

When it’s 10:30 at night and Katie (the owner) tells you she will meet you to do a dress fitting for the special occasion you have the next day!! You can’t ask for better service!!!!!My dress that I ordered was delayed...very delayed! I stopped and bought a dress that I didn’t like but needed a back up. I called and spoke with Katie who immediately seemed friendly over the phone. I wanted to get a same day alteration done which generally is an up charge or likely not available. She not only got my alterations done same day, but she also had a fair price. I dont live too close to her location, but I would gladly make the drive! Amazing service!

The lady was extremely rude and said she’d be there the Friday we pick up and she wasn’t there so her mother or somebody older in the shop handed the dress over. It was already paid for but the dress was never done, no tailoring had been done to the dress. She assimilates and caters to white customers but everyone else she could care less.

This place continues to go above and beyond for me each time I go in. I had recently brought in a dress that was off the rack but didnt fit right and needed a more modern look. The seamstress who helped me was quick and even helped me with ideas on making the dress more modern. For a hem, adding a slit, and taking in the dress it was priced perfectly as my dress had a lot of lace and beading. I received so many compliments about my dress! Thank you ladies!

I brought my wedding dress in to Express Alterations a week before my wedding after a previous tailor has ruined and stretched the satin on the top part of my dress. The ladies at Express performed some miracle work adding cups and tightening the bottom at the last minute to make the dress even better than I could have imagined! They are incredible!!

They were very quick to respond to my voicemail and reassured me that my dress would be altered and ready for pick up within 3 days of calling them. How was amazed! They were very friendly and made me feel very welcome;) they even made a beautiful mask with the material that was left over from my dress and a handkerchief for my boyfriend. When we bought the suit the pant legs were very wide which dated his very unique suit, but Katie asked if we wanted them to look more European and slim which is exactly what we wanted! If you live or work within the Citrus Park or surround area and need alterations, look no further and come here! I drive 40 minutes to have Katie and her experienced team alter dresses for me. I’ve had their help for bridesmaids dresses with beaded tops that were way too big and within two weeks, I come back and they fit perfectly. They are familiar with Azazie dresses (which almost always need alterations) and they are fast! With both bridesmaids dresses, they were completed within 2 weeks. I refuse to go anywhere else for alterations and trust them with all my clothes!

This place is amazing. I brought my wedding dress here and 3 bridesmaids dresses and Katie has just been so amazing. She is patient, she is very helpful and creative, and (for someone who had anxiety in dressing rooms) she made me and my girls feel so comfortable. My dress had to be taken in 5 sizes and it looks GORGEOUS and seamless. Also had to have it hemmed a few inches and bustled. Everything looks great, I cant wait to pick it up and finally be able to wear it on my big day! They do work with their own dry cleaners if you dont have one already, and Im assuming the price was fair (Ive never used a dry cleaner before). Im just ecstatic at how great all of our dresses turned out. And the rest of the staff is great too, everyone is so nice and friendly. Highly recommend! It is on the expensive side, but youre paying for quality and it is so, so worth it. I even got my friend to have her wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses done here too, cant wait to see how they turn out later!

Express Alterations did such a great job on my wedding dress. I had taken my dress to another business first but brought it to Express a few days before the wedding over some concerns I had and they were able to achieve what I needed in a very short period of time. I was so happy with the finished product! I have also brought in jackets and pants and have always been happy.

They’ve had my shorts and a dress for about 2 years now.... every time I text Katie about it, I’m ignored.Update: Owner has finally texted me back. Instead of sending video or just returning my items, she did a google response to this review. I’ve bought 3 custom dresses from her, all three were re-altered by Village Shoe Repair and Alterations, 1 was not the color I asked for (corn yellow vs a light yellow requested). I kept the wrong color dress and continued to return to her because we’re “friends”. If she lost or discarded the items, a courtesy text or call would have been nice but from the texts attached, they were not.

I brought in a high low Cotten coat/ trench and need more than several inches taken in the waist and chest, and was keen to keep as much flare in the train as possible.Not only did they make me feel very comfortable bringing in my costume piece, but they understood exactly what I wanted and executed the alterations flawlessly without distorting any other parts of my costume.Their pricing is very affordable for the quality of work they provide. Express is in the name for a good reason. Brought in two uniform shirts that I needed sergeant chevrons put on the sleeves. I asked if it could be done same day and was told absolutely. Ran some errands, came back in a couple of hours and my shirts were done!!! I couldn’t be happier with the service. I have two more shirts that need to be done and this is the place I will be going to!!!!!!

I had been trying to find a good alteration place for awhile with no luck. I had used some of the South Tampa places but frankly their work was less than stellar... and so expensive. I tried finding a place closer to home and searched Google when I found This gem. This place did a great job!!! Katie and all the staff there are so nice. I had a beautiful 2 piece outfit with beading that needed hemming and the top shoulders pulled up. The job was clean looking and very professional. And I thought the prices were very fair and reasonable. I dont always do reviews but felt Express Alterations was worthy of my time. Ill be back and will easily recommend her to my friends.

The owner’s response demonstrates her attitude and lack of integrity. The dress was purchased new and had no dirty/dingy marks before it arrived at her shop. The work was promised a full day ( by phone because they said they needed more time for revisions) before it was completed. It appears that they simply have communication issues among the staff. Prices were in line with any other alteration business. However, the cost of inconvenience and unnecessary stress was too high....Not what they seem - Brought my wedding dress here to be taken in. The staff was initially very nice and helpful. There were some communication issues regarding the date it would be finished and they were supposed to call me for a final price quote which did not happen. When I picked the dress up it fit wonderfully but was dirty. I brought the dress to this shop straight from a clean/steam (which I inspected after picking up and it was spotless) and it has several dirty marks on it now upon picking it up from the shop. The owner (Katie) offered to steam the dress but would not clean the marks that appeared on it after I brought it to her shop. She refused to clean the marks saying it was my word against hers even after I showed her the receipt from the clean/steam (she wouldn’t even look at it). Think twice before you trust to take your garments here because the owner doesn’t take responsibility for things that happen at her shop. Poor business practice to do this to a customer. They earned this poor review and lost future business from me over something that could have been easily rectified.

The woman that presented herself as the owner is stuck up and rude. Tried to overcharge for a simple hem when other places charge half what they do. They also pump their customers for positive Google reviews so they can brag about having a five star rating when the service is truly terrible.

A bathing suit I ordered on Amazon had a tiny rip in the side lining. I brought it in yesterday and they fixed it on the spot! I was in an out in less than 5 minutes and they were kind enough not to charge me even after I insisted. The first time I went last December to get a dress hemmed for my company Christmas party and they had it finished within the week. I cant say enough good things! I will be a forever customer!

Let me just start by saying the staff is extremely friendly and helpful!!! So I bought a dress from an online store which had similar products to the one I regular shop from because they had my size in stock and my fav didn’t. I bought a small and it was wayyy too big in different areas on the dress. This business saved my New Years night out and I am soooooo grateful because this will be my go to from now on. The turn around time for the fix was the icing on the cake!!! I have friends texting me for my tailor info because they saw the true transformation they did to make my dress fit like a GLOVE !
