Best alteration in town! Very professional and helpful to new customers!

Pricing is a little pricey but worth every penny! Shes the only one Ive been bringing my clothes to and have never had an issue

Highly recommend!!! Reasonable prices. Very friendly. I liked how the owner Linnie took into consideration the overall final look of what I brought in because what I initially wanted would have not looked as nice as what she recommended. It shows that is very knowledgeable about what would look the best and she knows what she is doing.I’ve brought many items for her to alter and every time I’ve been satisfied. She hasn’t failed to make a mistake which is proven from her 40 year experience and I don’t think I’ve been to an alteration place with someone with a degree in fashion design, it’s very cool

Couldnt fix my alteration requirement.

We have been using Alterations Plus for 20 years. The owner and seamstress, Linnie, is very pleasant and is always willing to offer suggestions on the best way to alter a garment. Her work is the best. We would not consider using anyone else.

Highly recommend Linnie to anyone that wants anything altered, she has never messed up anything that I needed from her, always ensuring that the clothing that gets altered is the perfect fit and makes sure that we are both satisfied with what she has done. The quality of her work is second to none.I would give her 10/5 stars if it was possible.

Refused to help me take in my wedding dress and told me, Go to Davids Bridal and buy one for $99. That will be better than this. They wouldnt even give me a price so it seems pretty clear they didnt want my business. I thought wed had a cordial relationship up until this point so I dont understand why they were so incredibly rude.

This is the best you are going to find in Tampa, Fl the service is immaculate the work is beyond extraordinary I would HIGHLY recommend here over any where else in Florida ! 10/10 GO THERE NOWWW !!!

Took my wedding dress there to get altered. It was perfect and fit great. Lennie is awesome.

They did a good job with my altering my suit pants. Although a bit a pricey side, it was certainly a better option to buying a new suit. Plus they are not too far from where I live. Good location for me. I would use them in the future.

The new owner, Lennie, is a wonderful. Have had 5 different items altered, each piece of clothing fit perfect when finished. The older reviews were of the previous owner.

Absolutely terrible, I was the made of honor for my moms wedding, and they completely botched the dress. We had 3 dresses total and mine was completely ruined, forcing us to purchase another dress. She made my dress so short that my butt was hanging out and the back didnt close. Then once we had her alter the second dress.. IT STILL DIDNT FIT. She made it way too tight and the straps were too loose at the top, but I chose to leave the straps like that so she wouldnt mess it up any more than she already had. But it was way too tight so the day before the wedding I had to go in and have her take out the dress. That made a total of 6 trips to this alteration store. She didnt feel like she needed to pay for the dress she completely botched, so she gave me $50 for a $200 dress and then didnt charge me for the alterations of the replacement dress I was forced to purchased. She was difficult to work with, and had no sympathy for all the stress she caused for my mom and I the week/ day of her wedding! It was such a terrible experience. She had to audacity to tell my mom that we were stressing her out! When all we wanted was our dresses to fit right! So rude! Please safe yourself the trouble and go somewhere else! I cant express enough how awful the entire experience was.

Took a lace blouse with long sheer full sleeves to be altered as sleeves were to long. I thought it would be difficult to alter but the lady at the shop who was very nice did a great job at a great price. Loking forward to my sons wedding now.

I will never go back here again with such poor professionalism or customer service. Due to the reviews I went to have 5 work uniforms hemmed and tailored. Since I work my roommate went to collect my items on my behalf and I was charged $15 MORE than I was invoiced for!!! When I called to see why there was a difference in the invoice as I was giving all the lady could say was that the clerk who took my order did not add correctly... WHAT?!?! I now have NO original invoice, just the pick up slip to see what I was even charged for, at no time was I contacted about the mistake on their part or informed of any price change until my roommate told me what she paid! The lady had no care about running a professional business or providing any sorts of customer service when asked why she wouldnt have contact ed me before moving forward with an additional cost... all she could say to me was Well I am not doing it for free, If it wasnt on the order like stated then how did you even know what I needed done to the dress, why was it done if it wasnt on the order, why was I not notified of any additional costs.

Very rude and unprofessional. I took a gown that needed heavy work and these two ladies just laughed at me and told me it was impossible, as well as said, no one in this town could pay me enough money to fix that dress. Would give them 0 stars if I could. Youre better off going somewhere else
