Dok was so helpful I needed my high-waist pants to be altered and he did an amazing job when he was finished I was so surprised because it looked like it had came like that from factory the way that he altered the pants. I called the store twice to get couple items tailored, but the phone was not answered in both times and for some reason it says its out of service, when i drove there, i could not even find the place.

My good friend is a very expensive dresser. And I asked where she has alterations done. She told me to go to Village Alterations. I had a wonderful experience and my sister and husband have now gone there. He is excellent and I am very happy. He is the real deal as a professional tailor. I even know that he would be able to make a wedding gown from scratch!! All my family has now used him and I am having many tops etc tailored to my size. Dok and his wife are very lovely people and extremely trained by the best of the best. I usually go by word of mouth to find things. Had my wedding dressed altered and I love it. Dok took the time to explain what he thought and worked with me on changes I wanted to make. He had 2 fittings with me and scheduled time so there would be little disruption. He even gave me a hug when I had my final fitting and wished me a long and happy marriage. Dok Yi is a consummate professional with some serious skills. I’ve been a longtime customer since 2005 when he basically reszied a bridesmaid dress from a 4 to a 2 for me. Whatever I have brought to him to alter, he has been able to do what I’ve asked in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price. He’s got a customer for life!
