Love this barber shop my son is special needs and the owner does amazing on his hair very patient with him. Id recommend this place 10 out of 10 times my stepfather used to go when I was a kid about a year ago we moved back to the area and sure enough the same Barber shop was there with the same owner. I usually do my sons hair by myself but sometimes he has not first and I mess up more than I can fix. He worked magic with my sons hair looked like I never messed it up to begin with. Very professional

I took my son here we had to walk right in and out ! He said hurry up I have an appointment at 6 he was so rude to my son that is 10! I still told my son to hurry up as he shouldn’t talk to a child like that. Then he asks me how I want his haircut I tell him he says he doesn’t have time like he just told me he has someone coming at 6 then says to me again how would I like it cut WELL your telling me you can’t do things just do as you please since you told me you don’t have time. He was so rude customer service was horrible

Been coming to Nester at Gifted Hands for 3 years now and never once got a cut i wasnt happy about. Always leave looking and feeling fresh. Ive been to many other barbers in the area before finding Nester and not one takes the time to pay attention to detail and make sure Im happy with it. He always goes the extra mile to put the customer first and works relentlessly at improving his craft. For anyone reading, hit him up for an appointment and you WILL NOT be dissatisfied.

I always go to Nestor ever since my senior prom back in 2018! He did me right and been going to him ever since! Always has a smile and never disappoints! When I need him to correct something he does it, when I need to ask him something he answers! He’s the best barber I’ve had in Tampa! Treats me with respect and I do the same! The whole barber shop knows me now and we tight!

I moved to Tampa from out of state. Gifted Hands was the first barbershop I went to. Nes has been cutting my hair religiously for the past year and a half every two weeks. Nes does an amazing job I would recommend him to anyone. I moved out of Tampa and still drive 45 minutes one-way to get my haircut.

Pretty good shop. Even with the wait it wasnt bad at all. Barbers are skilled, shop is clean, and theyve got a TV playing ESPN. Im only passing through but if youre here on MacDill AFB, this is a way better option than at the exchange. Its about 16 bucks for a haircut, surprisingly well priced. Im from the West Coast where dudes are charging an arm and a leg for their services. Take advantage of this spot.

One of the most professional barbershops i ever been too also Iv been going here for about 3 years I must say the service is unmatched (Nestor) is super talented very respectful and just overall a professional barber I must say I will be getting a haircut with Gifted Hands for many more years to come and don’t forget to ask about hot towels! not to mention the business follows all cdc guidelines ensuring the spread of COVID is suppressed.

Horrible service nestor totally messed up my hair its uneven. My hair is crooked and pushed back i came in after 6pm so he was rushing my cut didnt even give me what i wanted DONT GO TO NESTOR BAD SERVICE HORRIBLE CUT. And still charged me 27$ unbelievable

I picked up my son from daycare today and saw this barbershop across the street. Figured i would give it a try. I usually takes my kids to Cookie Cutters or Sharkeys which costs alot more. My son is 3 and badly in need of a haircut. We came in and i noticed there would be a wait because all 3 barbers had a client and there was a guy waiting. After the owner finished, he cleaned up and had to leave to Home Depot but told me and the other guy we would be taken care of by the 2 other barbers. Once one guy was done, he cleaned up and sat in his chair on his phone. I kept looking over but he didnt acknowledge me. At this point we had been there for almost an hour and my son was getting restless. Too bad for them. I also have a 9 year old and its convenient since we live across the street and they only charge $12 for a child but we will just go elsewhere. I dont mind waiting but when you have people sitting there and an open chair, why would you not acknowledge that person and ask what they need. It is pretty obvious i am not just there to sit around. You guys lost a potential long-term client.

I try to get my hair cut every 3-4 weeks. Unfortunately, however, my long-time barber moved to Las Vegas in February right before the Covid-19 Quarantines began. That being said, I went about 3 months without a haircut before I found this shop, and my new barber Nestor. So far making an appointment with him has always been a breeze, he pays attention to detail and I’ve left with an amazing hair cut each time. Looking forward to more cuts at this shop!

My favorite Barbershop for more than 10 years. They have never failed me. They have TVs setup for customers and magazines while you wait for your turn.

Worst barber experience ever and I didnt even get a haircut. Went in and the first chair was open, other two were occupied. The guy that runs the first chair was busy chatting up a woman who was in there and didnt even look my way until I asked about military haircuts. He said hed be right with me then proceeded to chat with this woman about random things for the next 10 minutes. The second chair barber finished his customer and then went outside and stood for a minute without even looking in my direction either. Finally I got up to leave and at that point the first chair said he was going to clear a seat for me. I was made to wait for nearly 15 minutes while this barber chatted. Unacceptable for a place of business and definitely unprofessional. Ill never recommend others to go here.

Been here several times, haircuts are consistent, but it is hit or miss on wait. I waited 1.5 hours before I got told that I will have to wait another hour; not cool. Especially, when I walked in an hour before somebody else (person was also WALK-IN) and they were served first. They can be picky on their customers. Hour of my life I wont get back.

Its great, i have been going for years and always a great service and they talk to you to make a conversation.

I have been to this shop twice and had two very different experiences. The guy hispanic guy in the middle cuts well, but the other hispanic guy on the end...not so much. Only went for a line up last week and it was terrible, the worse anyone has done since living in Tampa. He not only pushed my hairline back, which is very noticable, but he also didnt fade my hair on the side or the back so well. I was so pissed that he moved my hairline back, I didn’t realize he didnt know how to fade that well until I left. I will never go nack to this shop, there are lots of other better barbers in Tampa!
