I come to this place probably every 2 weeks and I only go there for one person Dominique, she does lace fronts and etc Dominique was actually the first person that I went to, to do my lace front and ever since that time I fell in love with lace front I always thought it was not gonna go with me but she made me like it she hooked me up with the baby hair in the front, she had me looking brand new again man I was good to go and every time I make an appointment with her she’s always on time she never keeps me waiting. And even if I am running late she’s very understandable And that’s one of the things I like about her she doesn’t take a long time doing my hair it’s in and out and I like that she doesn’t take no more then 1hr and 30 minutes or probably less the time goes by real fast. She makes you feel real comfortable she knows how to spark a conversation even if it’s your first time you will feel like you been going there forever that’s how she makes you feel. She is very fast and she knows her work and I am glad that I started going to her. Even if she’s booked she still makes that effort to squeeze you in. So kiddos to you Dominique you are the best you have no idea. I really don’t like to write any reviews but I feel that everyone needs to know that we still have some good people out there that takes there job serious and will do anything to make there customers happy and feel welcome and comfortable!

Had to wait 45 minutes after my appointment time. Dispite the fact that I came with blown out hair the stylist, Dominique, yanked at my hair and combed my edges with a rat-tail comb. Even though I booked a trim before the styling she said she doesnt know how to cut hair. IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR EDGES STAY AWAY! these positive reviews are cap! aint no way they arent getting a discount to lie.

Dominique installed a wig for me for my birthday. I wrote Her before making the appt to see if she can do the wig on top of my dreads and she responded instantly. She communicated with me about the wig and i really Appreciate that. The day of the appt she was ready soon as i got There. I love Her vibe and will be going back to her

The stylist who did my hair was Dominique, she understood the assignment! I had got a middle part sleek ponytail, plus I have natural hair but she already knew what she was doing. It came out gorgeous, she was funny, bubbly and easy to talk too. Y’all go check her out.

This place is amazing. I was able to make an appointment the day before. You can either select the person whom you would like to do your hair, or you can select anyone who is available. My hair was done quick and extremely neatly. The entire staff was friendly.

Although I made a last minute appointment I must admit that the service I received from Kay was superb. She is very nice and professional. The quality of her work is also very good. Overall I will definitely be returning to this salon and trying out some of the other stylist. I saw the other stylist slaying the looks and had their customers in and out!

Locks came out better then expected really picky on who touches my dreads but being so far away from home she really did her thing. And I’m very appreciative of it they looks nice and parted and style was whatever she wanted to do artist know best and she did jus that love it and will be back when I make another trip.

Dominique is your go to always when it comes to wigs . She’s very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to wigs . She can literally revamp your wigs and have you stepping out looking like a million bucks . Dominique is very well skilled my installs last for a while . Dominique also is very precise with your hair and she’s quick she gets you in quick and out quick and that’s what I love the most thank you for always making me feel and look gorgeous

Hands down the bestttttt salon Ive been to. I have a condition where my hair is shedding and I couldnt find no stylist to help me start a new healthy hair journey. I found Miami x on Instagram a few days ago and found a stylist name Larria(I might have spelled it wrong lol) but I mean from the consultation to the app and service she is by far the best stylist Ive had . Her assistant Shaunice. Is amazing . Great communication, very kind, humble, and all around amazing . Larria is very patient, kind, humble, very knowledgeable . And def a fast worker lol. The staff are amazing friendly kind and professional . I will be coming back in about 6 weeks for my touch up. I thank all of them for such an amazing experience today 💗

I got my knotless braids from hairstylist Queen and she did an amazing job. Very neat and professional. My mother received her full sew-in install from Kelly with no leave out and no closure or frontal and it came out exactly how my mom wanted it to. My mom is very picky with her sew-in and Kelly definitely delivered.

Shantell does amazing work. If youre looking for a great retwist, shes the one you go to. She does everything from washing, rewashing if necessary, and detox. She will even style your hair all at a reasonable price. If youre looking to start some locs or get extentions, she does that as well

I went in for a silk press, my first time trying one and lets just say it wont be the last. My hairstylist Larria was amazing. Not only is she an amazing hair stylist, she also has an amazing personality. She walked me through the different steps she was taking with my hair, she checked often to see if everything was okay and I left the salon feeling like a new woman. I am absolutely pleased with the results and people wont stop complimenting me :-). I highly recommend Miami X for any and all of your hair care needs!

I had an emergency, my other appointment canceled at the last minute and I had a flight in the morning . I called the shop to see if they could do my daughter and I hair at the last minute, they told me yes to come in . Taz was amazing, because my daughter is only 3 and sometimes doesn’t keep her head straight she was very patient with her I even told her she doesn’t have to do the hairstyle I asked her to do for me but she replied no it’s okay I got it and she really did finish it despite the moving around my daughter was doing . I’m so happy I went there because she did my daughter and I hair so fast and it was great. She very professional, fast And amazing .

This business is not ready to provide service. Ive made several appointments for different services each time something different, lack of communication, wasted time, lack of any customer service, or better yet system shows appt, deposit collected and the response is not worth my money or time. Website states they do braids but apparently its limited on what they can do. I didnt like my wait time the first time 7 hrs before actual completion for something simple, sub par work and nonchalant attitude because they didnt pay attention to their appt system. And finally show up ready just to be told sorry we cant do that..hmm they should reconsider the line of business they are in. I miss the days of real hairstylist, real folks that braid, provide professional services. I tip very well because I like quality and dont like my time to be wasted and this is what happened everytime. Im not going to mention other issues I observed. Will keep looking as this has become a lost art.

I used to live in North Miami and my daughter wanted to come here based on the reviews and even though they do a very good job at styling hair its not worth it for me to come back due to the lack of professionalism. Every time we would go there and pay a deposit for an appointment we would be waiting over an hour to sit in a chair. This made me decide not to come back again, we moved to broward and my daughter needed to get her hair done for her bday, the salon that we wanted to go to in broward was booked so she chose Miami X, it was so long that we have been back that I forgot why I stopped coming. We set the appointment for 11:45am and put a deposit down. On the day of the appointment we received a text asking if the appointment can be pushed to 2pm due to the fact the stylist was running behind schedule. My daughter was fine with it so I agreed. We get there at 1:50pm and was asked who is the stylist and to sign in. I told the receptionist it was Larria and she said no it will be Dominique. When I asked whos name should I write down for the stylist I was told it doesnt matter I can leave it. We sat there for an hour and a half and because it was my daughters bday I didnt want to ruin it by getting upset so I asked the receptionist how much longer will it be and she looked at me with shock like she was surprised I was still here and she asked who is your stylist and I said Are you serious? She was sitting up there the whole time for what, what was the point of signing in? She got Larria and told her that we were her next appointment and whats even more sad Larria didnt even know the appointment was pushed to 2pm which means someone else messaged me claiming to be her. Larria was super nice, she was the ONLY ONE to apologize for what happened. As a courtesy the right thing to do would be to give back my deposit for the time wasted. This reminded me of why I will definitely not be coming back and my daughter finally agreed with me.

I love coming here because, the ladies are kind and they know how to do hair very good but almost every time when I come here they take a really long time to service me. I always set an appointment but when I come on time, I have to wait an additional 1-3 hours. It’s ridiculous honestly; that to me is the only con in this salon in my opinion.

I got smedium knotless braids and it was perfect. From the parting to the ends of the braids its a great job done and the woman that did my hair was very gentle. The salon was very clean and everyone was polite. Overall a great experience.

First off, everyone was very polite! I went as a walk-in & the person i went for was booked up, so Queen took my request for some feed-in braids! I only waited like 30 minutes, which is GREAT for a walk-in in a busy salon. I was falling asleep in the chair y’all, Queen hands are blessed! & she slayed TF outta my hair! People commented as soon as i walked out the salon lol. Good prices as well!! Everyone who was doing hair in there was slaying every hairstyle - from dreads to weave! Kid friendly as well! Been growing my hair 2020 I stopped getting haircuts February she was the person that started my starter locs Im two retwist in plenty more to go!

Unwelcoming, exclusionary and unhygienic. 🎈REVIEW: I am a supporter of Local Business, especially black owned businesses. This place is walking distance from my house so i decided i would try it out. I called to make an appointment for “hair dye on a male” and was told they would call back. That didn’t happen. I went ahead to try in person, and when i arrived the staff did not greet me, they all just stared, and a seemingly random guy (no uniform) ask me what I wanted and if i had an appointment (None of the staff were wearing masks). Well they gave me the run around so I couldn’t make an appointment. After telling them what I wanted, dyed hair, they were not able to give me a fixed price (RED FLAG) and they also took my information down and “would call back”. There was no effort to provide service to me at all. Being Indian, having a different type hair I understand, just let me know if you can’t do it, but I’ve visited places that only speak Spanish and they still welcome me. And can still get the job done. And these are “PROFESSIONALS” remember. They sure do not act like it. Overall i was extremely uncomfortable and was made to feel like i was intruding on their space. If you’re nonblack poc, or white, i would not recommend this place.

I didn’t not have a good experience here l. My hair stylist came an hour and 30 mins late to my appointment and rushed through my hair. It came out ok but didn’t come out exactly how I wanted it to. After finishing my hair she left so quickly with out letting me see my hair in a mirror. Everyone else was nice and apologized for her coming so late. I will not be coming back.

I contacted them showing a style of kinky twist was recommended to a specific stylist to get it done...upon getting my hair done it was noting as the picture I showed the stylist( Kinky twist) on the second day the braids started coming out the following day. I try making a appointment to go back but was in the hospital a couple of day which made me unable to go I requested my money back and was told it’s been 2 weeks since I got my hair done so they can only give me 40% discount off the next time I do my hair there,when it’s only a week. If you go there be sure the stylist is able to do what you want!!!
