Thomas is the most professional and knowledgeable BMW mechanic I know. He has been working on all my cars, including a few Mercedes, for the last 20 years. I found out he has been trained in Germany which in my mind does make a difference. His attention to detail is always spot on and he advises me of what needs attention in the near future. Thank you for keeping my cars performing at their best.
Thomas is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. In a world of questionable repair shops... there is no question on the professionalism and honesty when bringing your baby to him. Hes genuinely nice guy you feel you could have a few beers with!
This is an amazing shop. Matt is excellent and is very thorough, everyone is exceedingly professional. I have taken a few cars to them over the last few years and have always had a good experience. Labor is way less expensive than dealer fees, and results are top-notch. HIGHLY recommended. And, they are ASE certified, meaning that they will work on everything, not just German imports.
Thomas always does great work. Have been taking my car here for 3 years now with zero issues. Always honest and on point. Thank you for your service.
I was in town to have my Corvette tuned and my balancer spun and walked forward on the crank. Alex and his team fit me in the next day, did an excellent job, and charged a very fair price. A big Thank You! to Alex and his team for helping me out of a tight situation.
Cars and Concepts is a smaller, charming, local autoshop. Looks like they are well-versed in general servicing and repairs of European cars, as well as custom work. The owner, Thomas, is a warm and welcoming figure who is knowledgeable of German autos and the car business in general. He comes off as open and helpful. I get a sense that he wants to do the right things and not just make profit. This shop is quite spartan but functional and competent at first glance. So, dont expect big leather sofas, plasma TV screens, and endless espressos, but, do expect an honest conversation about your car and needed servicing. At this time, they appeared to be thorough, competent, open and honest, as well as warm and friendly. I hope that will continue long into the future.Regards from Tampa.
Outstanding service on my 2008 Mini Cooper S. Joe and is team gave me the facts and did not push me to buy unnecessary services or repairs. They even took extra time to fix a few things on my car, such as a broken plastic pin on the molding, for free.I highly recommend Cars and Concepts if you want excellent auto care in Tampa . Much better experience than the local dealerships.Jeff
Matt and my mechanic took great care of my 328xi. I hit a pothole in July and had to wait to get my car fixed after we closed on our house in August. I dropped off the keys the night before and w/in 3 days had my car back. Very easy to work with. Great communication. They did a wonderful job replacing my two front engine mounts and digging out the bolts that were sheared off from the impact. Wish they were open on Saturdays or had one late night but other than that, I would highly, highly recommend them for servicing your BMW. I wont go anywhere else now. They know what they are doing!
C&C is the premiere repair shop in the Tampa Bay area. Very fair labor costs, exceptional work, friendly and fast service (no compromise to quality or attention to detail!). Matt, Thomas, Tommy, and the entire team are appreciated for their professional service! Ive brought my cars to them for years, from sub frame damage repair on a BMW Z3, cooling system on an E46 wagon, to suspension tuning on a mustang cobra. Thanks guys, keep up the terrific work!!
Cars and Concepts are the best BMW repair shop around. Thomas knows his BMWs inside and out. The rest of the crew are top notch!
Thomas and the guys at Cars and Concepts, especially Matt and Tommy, are 100% of the reason my wife and I are such BMW enthusiasts, having bought and sold a half a dozen preowned BMWs over the past few years. We tried every BMW dealer in the greater Tampa Bay area and none of them come close to the quality of work, attention to detail, or reasonable prices you will find at Cars and Concepts. Frankly, before finding C&C - a referral from a friend - our love affairs with Bimmers was quickly turning into a divorce. I vividly remember my first visit with Thomas to discuss the state of affairs with a recently purchased 318ti - he actually listened to what I had to say and we were immediately on the same page - get a base line on the mundane stuff (fluids, filters, hoses, belts, etc.) and the create a list of what needed to be done and when, budget permitting. We later sold that car for almost as much as we paid for it and the new owner inherited a meticulously clean, well maintained car. Anyway, if you are still reading this review then you probably know you MUST maintain your used BMW or it will turn into a money pit. Do yourself a big favor, forget the dealers, and bring your out of warranty BMW to Cars and Concepts. Its not going to be dirt cheap, but will save you some bucks over the dealers and the quality of service is going to be much, much, much better - really no comparison. A big THANK YOU to Thomas, Tommy, Matt, and the crew at C&C!
Cars and Concepts is a fantastic professional shop to get your car repaired. I was on a trip from Pennsylvania down to the Florida Keys in my VW Eurovan when we developed an issue due to the winter pot hole issue here in Pa.- I called and although they were booked for the day, Joe went to the trouble of getting me worked into the schedule. They made a rapid accurate diagnosis, and evaluated the rest of the suspension, ordered the parts, and did a great job on the repair and realignment. Without writing a book on the entire job, I have to say, I have never experienced such care and concern and such a professional staff in all my 4 + decades of driving. My vehicle is hard to find a mechanic that knows all the quirks, and even dealers shy away from working on them. I interviewed Tommy and was surprised at his expertise on even this quirky vehicle- I knew I was in good hands, as I typically work on my own vehicles and know a good mechanic and this crew is top notch in my book and I plan on using them when I move into the area. Also, talking to a few other customers there, I was shocked at the great level of confidence from all of them with the work they do. I also met Thomas (an owner) and was also pleased. Joe showed compassion, concern and arranged alternate transportation for the wait on parts too. This is truly a class act and genuinely one of the best kept secrets in Tampa for BMWs (there primary expertise) as well as other manufacturers.
Outstanding place to take your business after not finding anyone to fix my problem with my 1994 325IS I take it to Car and Concepts and every since they are the only one to work on my car. If you want it done right take it to Car & Concepts.
I have been going to Cars and Concepts with all of my BMWs and Mercedies for the past 12 years. Outstanding service.
Highly recommended for BMW service. Ask for Joe!
