I went to Luckys shop to paint two rocker panels and install my lower body kit. The shop matched the paint exactly and completed the install within a couple of days. Transformed the look of my FX50. Did a great job for a very fair price.

Stopped by this place to get a quote for a job from this place, and the guy working was super professional and upfront with cost and labor. I wasn’t able to get the job done but was given a lot of great and helpful advice. I would definitely recommend this guy to anyone out there looking for work done.

Had my bumper replaced and painted on my 14 Lexus. Within a few weeks I had a chip in the paint of the bumper the size of a quarter. I was told it was caused from a rock hitting the bumper at high speeds, and I need to pay again to have it repainted again. There is no signs of indentation from a rock, nor would this happen with the original Lexus paint. When I first got the car back and brought it home, I noticed some lines and small bumps in the paint above the headlight. I let it go. The extra large and very obvious chip from the paint is my main concern now. Its apparent this service wasnt done by an expert

Called up luckys to have my tail lights smoked. Charlie is a great dude and took care of my lights the very next day for an extremely reasonable rate. The results are flawless. He got the exact shade of darkness I was looking for without compromising too much light output. The work is great and the lights look nice and dark but just as glossy as they were before the paint. Great work!

Great place to get your banged-up car fixed perfectly! I have had the pleasure of using Luckys three times and each time the work was done so exact that it looked as if it never happened! Took my 2006 Hummer H3 to Luckys, met Charlie who gave me an estimated and stuck to it.Other estimates were extremely high for my budget.Charlie and his helper did an amazing job.Very satisfied with the work, a couple of fish eyes but overall great job. Will have him do other work if I need it.Thanks Charlie.I MUST edit my review.After picking up my truck about 3 weeks later I washed my Hummer with plain water BC of the amount of pollen that was on it.As I dried the truck I could see all the imperfections that were on it especially the hood.Quality is not there, sorry Charlie its just that I paid $4200 expecting something different.I will call Charlie and see where it goes from there and then maybe I will have to edit my review as well.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Charlie and Donovan over at Luckys Paint and Body! I was in a pretty bad car accident on Sept. 3rd and my car was in bad shape. It was my first ever car accident and I was extremely shaken up and confused. I found Luckys Paint and Body and had my car towed there that Thursday. Charlie immediately made me feel at ease. He was very knowledgeable and was willing to help me save money in anyway he could. His price for fixing my car was unbeatable! He kept me updated through the entire process even when he had a family emergency I was still made to feel like a priority! He finished my car early and even washed it for me! Really a great place to go. Had a fender bender and dealerships were quoting me insane prices. Not only is he far less expensive than any of the dealers I got quotes from, he is also far nicer and did the work far faster than anyone I’ve gone to.It’s tough to find genuine people in this world today, especially when doing business, but the owner really is the closest thing I’ve found.I highly recommend going here if you want fantastic work done.

Charlie is customer oriented. He, his shop, and crew take pride in their work and craftsmanship. If you write a bad review on Luckys, it is because you did not inspect the work and talk to Charlie before picking up your vehicle. In our case, he finished ahead of schedule, and was the most reasonable for the quality of work. There is a reason people post high praise here, AND go back to him with other vehicles. Simply amazing. I cannot say enough good things about Charlie or his work.Prior to finding Luckys I went and got a quote from a big company that was well over $3k and immediately said nope. I started searching for places and found Luckys. Gave Charlie a call and made sure he would be able to do what I wanted. Went and got a quote and was almost half of those other guys.Not only did I change the color of my car from black to satin white, but the hood was horrendous looking from the Florida heat, and there was a small dent on and next to my gas tank that is now gone! He also reconditioned by headlights and smoked them along with the taillights.All in all, as I said, I cannot say enough good things. I really appreciate the work done by him and his crew and absolutely LOVE the outcome. Today was the second time I have had work done on my car at Luckys. Each time the work was outstanding! The owner has been doing auto and body repair for many years and really knows his craft. He so meticulous in matching the paint that you would never notice where it had been repaired.

Very honest and helpful. I did not have my car repaired with Lucky, but as a consequence of arriving at the conclusion that it was not economically sensible to do so. Lucky was more concerned with doing the right thing than enlisting some business for himself. Very impressed with his integrity.

Charlie (Lucky) does fantastic work! Very affordable and the quality is superior! Previously, I used another body / paint shop in Tampa and I must say it does not compare to Luckys! Luckys is a small, family owned shop and Charlie represents the utmost professionalism, integrity and customer service. I noticed a minor issue unrelated to his incredible paint job and body repair upon departure from his shop, I called him about it and he took care of it immediately! All of my future body/paint work on my vehicles (hopefully minimal - but the way folks drive in Tampa, who knows) will be repaired by Luckys. Great job, Charlie!!

I have had four of my families cars repaired at Luckys in the past five years. Every one came out beautiful and he saved me at least 25% compared to other body shops. Each one was done on time or early.Do not be fooled by the ordinary shop or location. I can go to any shop but I choose this place. He is honest, professional and a good man.I rarely take the time to review anything but this place deserves a lot of business and people deserve to get what they pay for and not be ripped off.

After taking my Truck to a Well Known Paint and Body Shop and discover what a horrible job they did, I brought it to Luckys.The incredible job he did to completely redo my truck to factory new finish complete was beyond words. It was done fast and with passion and pride. You can tell that his heart was poured into his work. Very reasonable and quick.I HIGHLY recommend Luckys. Luckys Paint and Body is awesome. Have taken both of our cars there and referred several friends over the past 5 years who have been equally satisfied. Charlie and his assistant always do an excellent job, very fast, and very honest. He doesnt take credit card; only cash or check but very very reasonable price. My son had several $5,000 estimates elsewhere, and Luckys quoted $800, and when done only charged $600 because a part they wanted to replace wasnt available so they straightened the part saving us money. This is the place to go if you dont have insurance; or even if you do have insurance.

Extremely competent & professional. My car required a respray of the hood and whole front bumper, Luckys recommended realigning the wings & hood as well. The job was done a day earlier than promised and looks fabulous - really does look as good as new. Worth every cent.

Well this was my first time using a body shop. I was in a car accident and had to deal with my insurance and getting my car fixed. Charlie, the owner, immediately provided me with excellent customer service and great advice on what to do Etc. they fixed my car in a timely manner and were great! My car turned out amazing and he worked with me from the time I first called him! Definitely take your car here for any repairs you need!!

A friend of mine referred me to Charlie at Luckys Paint and Body. I was selling my 2003 Lexus GS430 and it had some fender issues on both the driver and passenger side as a result of me driving my car extremely low to the ground. The front bumper and hood also needed work because of the damage done to the paint from insects and rocks over the years.Charlie quoted me a very reasonable price so I decided to give him a chance. The work only took a couple of days but it was definitely top notch. The fenders, the front bumper, and the hood looked completely brand new. I always maintain a very clean vehicle and yet the body and paintwork work done by Charlie gave my car an appearance of being almost new. I would highly recommend Charlie at Luckys Paint and Body if you want a job done well and done right the first time.

For the Chip in the 2014 Lexus bumper, that chip was due to a air pocket under the paint with dirt as it dried the paint cracks and chips if it had got hit by a rock there would be scuff mark left by the rock and if it caused that size of a chip there would be damage to the bumper. Im a paint & body tech so I know .

Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Charlie did a beautiful job repairing our vehicles and for a fair price. He told us hed have our truck ready Friday but ended up done by Thursday. While repairing the hood he noticed some additional small dents and fixed those as well, no extra charge. We will definitely be recommending him to others and returning if we ever have the need.

My girlfriend had recently gotten into a car accident and needed repairs done on her 00 Mustang. The front hood, lights, and frame needed replacement and repairs. Not to mention the various rusting spots throughout the roof and car. For a vehicle that was expected to be a total loss, the gentleman and his team at this paint and body shop made the car look like new for a very, very reasonable price. We shopped around to various other businesses but this place by far was the cheapest and the quality of work was superb. This is going to be my go to place for all my paint and body needs in the future.

My son Michael posted a review and every word he said was correct. He completely repainted and restored my sons mustang when he got back from Iraq. He even put new headlights in at cost, to thank my son for his service. He kept my little yellow cobalt, looking like new. So i went to his shop after reading the great reviews. He first made me wait 30 mins before coming out of his workshop. He only came out coz a UPS lady happened to drop by. While there, he looked at the car for about 10 seconds, and quoted me $600 for a small job on my gfs front car door and said that it was a good deal. I left to go get other quotes and got it fixed for $300. Thats right, half price. Im not sure if he was trying to rip me off or if other reviewers didnt bother getting other quotes, or maybe he became cocky after the good reviews. Either way, I didnt have a good experience at Lucky s. Sorry.

Recently I had my 14-year-old truck painted at Lucky’s. I did my homework, searched the web, read up on car restoration and devised a budget according to my expectations for the project. I spent hours that turned into day’s then weeks and finally months. I did a lot of the legwork tracking down obscure parts and pieces that were necessary to restore the truck. That saved me some money and allowed me to be involved with the project. That was important to me. Then I began the search for the shop that would make the project come together. I talked to a lot of people and had a bunch of quotes. Lucky’s was my last interview. Charlie AKA Lucky has a shop in the rear portion of a large lot on Florida Ave. When I found it, my first thought was “How does anybody know the place exists? After talking to Charlie, I had that gut feeling that he was the guy I wanted to do the work. He did not give me the cheapest quote, but he was way under the most expensive one for sure. Well, my gut feeling was dead on the mark! Charlie is a real “Craftsman” at his trade. He has some very talented help as well. Charlie is old school, he is fair, he cares about his customers and from what I gather from his employees he is a blast to hang around too. My truck? It’s worth about $ 4000.00 dollars more than I paid for it 14 years ago. It looks brand new. If you want your car or truck painted, you cant go wrong with Lucky’s.
