I brought my vehicle up to Richies after having some electrical issues I couldnt fix on my own. Called them an hour before closing on a Wednesday and they told me I could drop it off so they could get to it the next day. On arrival Richard came out himself and talked to me about the issues I was having. We even had a friendly conversation for 45 minutes after. The next day he called and told me what he found and what they were doing to fix it. He told me he would do his best to get it done before closing. 30 minutes later his secretary called and told me I could pick it up 30 minutes after they close as they would get it finished so I could get my vehicle back. When I arrived they were just finishing up even after they had closed 30 minutes prior.I can honestly say with all the repair shops Ive used and dealers Ive been to that Ive never met someone so genuine and beyond fair. Reasonable pricing isnt even a fair remark for what they charged me. When I thanked Richard before I left and told him the pricing was great his own words were I like to treat everyone who walks through that door like family. I can honestly say that statement is true.I will continue to use Richies from this point forward for any auto issues I have and refer them to family and friends as well. If you have any issues take your vehicle here. You will not be disappointed.

Very welcoming people, my brother and I came in on a last minute repair and Richie did everything he could to accommodate us the same day.After talks with the dealer we had to take it back to them but we really respect and appreciate Richie and his team for the willingness to work with us.

I can’t say enough good things about Richie’s! The staff is very kind and extremely professional. I had to wait a wile but the we’re always checking to see if they could get me something. Very good folks!The motor mounts in my car needed to be replaced and although they were filled with appointments they fit me in in between jobs. It was the holidays and no one would help me; but Richie did! I will always recommend them since the price was absolutely acceptable and the quality of work was top notch!

Awesome Experience.I’m not a mechanic but I’m pretty good around cars and engines, I figured our car was toast when we had it towed in but wanted a professional’s opinion. Richie diagnosed and explained what was going on and what my options where. We ultimately decided to replace the motor and all the work was done on time and on budget. Reasonable prices, easy to work with and efficient turn around. Very positive experience.

Two years ago, I found Richies Auto Repair because I needed my engine replaced. Long story short.... 20,000 miles later and no issues.That same year. I took it back to replace an axle, the brakes and fix a brake fluid leak. Which they had all recommended the first time.Yesterday morning I dropped off my car to replace the AC compressor. I was told it needed to be replaced two years ago BC it had severe signs of wear, but when I had it it was not hot, yet. Once summer kicked in I realized they were right!!Anyways. I am sure I made this shop rich by now. People say You could have bought a brand new car! But I love my Subaru!

Rare find of honesty and integrity!!I live in Illinois, my son is staying in the Tampa area.His car popped a brake line (rusted thru) Illinois car.Im an ASE master certified tech, Been a mechanic for 32 yrs. When he called me to ask what he should do, I was at a loss.Normally this repair I could handle, but Im in Illinois hes in Tampa.I did a Google search for repair shops near him (car needed to be towed) . I came across Richies and was impressed by all the great reviews. Been there twice for my Avalanche, first was a transmission issue and the second time was a U-joint and to have a new full exhaust system installed. Richies took care of it for a good price and stayed late to finish the exhaust because I needed the truck the next day. Truly awesome work and service from a solid shop.

Everyone talks about finding an honest mechanic they can trust. My wife and I are fortunate to have found Richie. If you bring your car in for an oil change, thats what you get. They do inform your of other maintenance issues, however, and recommend time/mileage they should be handled within, but there is absolutely no pressuring or salesmanship to convince you to act. In fact, Richie takes the time to educate his customers about the importance of different mechanical remedies and will even prioritize a list for your convenience. If/when you decide to have more work done, it is done timely and with great skill. They also do used car inspections, so before you end up in a lemon, have Richies take a look beforehand. I highly recommend Richie and his team!

I’ve known Richie for 6 years and he has serviced and repaired both of my vehicles. He is honest and trust-worthy. He helped get my son’s car back on the road. He goes above and beyond for his customers. I would not hesitate to refer him to anyone.

Ritchie fixed my truck with such precision and care it feels like a new truck now. As a bonus thus shows how great of a guy Ritchie is...he noticed my shifter was off center and took an extra 20 min at no charge to make sure everything was aligned right. Everyone take your veh here and affordable rates he does not milk you!

Great service and communication. Fixed my motorhome in timely fashion. It runs better than when I bought it new. Went the extra mile to reinstall my automatic steps without charging me. On top of it all, his pricing was very fair. I was reminded this morning to send a review after dropping off the car I tow behind the rv for electrical/mechanical issues--dont know whats causing the problem, but confident Richie and team will take care of it. Highly recommend them.

Richies Auto Repair made a bad situation seem manageable. It was extremely convenient to drop-off my vehicle on a Saturday night after it broke down. Best part about Richies is the transparency and how he holds his companys reputation to a high standard. I am happy to have found a trustworthy mechanic in Tampa.

I had a work crew out of town in Tampa when the company vehicle starting acting up. The vehicle said it was over heating and wouldn’t go over 5mph. They were able to limp it to Richies, which we found on google maps. He quickly diagnosed the problem to being a bad temp sensor and really a minor problem. Being out of town and pretty much at the mercy of the repair shop, they really could have taken advantage of us and done a bunch of misdiagnosing and unnecessary work. It’s nice to find an honest repair shop that was straight forward and did only what was needed. Richie had my guys back on the road in just a few hours. What we thought was going to be catastrophic was found out to be a simple issue. Thank you so much to Richies Auto for being an honest stand up company. Highly recommend them and anytime we are in Tampa and need service we will be using them. Thank you again!!

They quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. price was completely inline with online estimators. They didnt try and push any additional services and got the repair done in a reasonable amount of time.
