This location is closed on Sunday but I needed some repairs that couldnt wait. I ended taking my vehicle to a local service center. For break repairs they quoted me 1000 (500 for just 1 part). I declined and took my car to Insty Tune Monday morning. They inspected it and confirmed the issue and quoted me 600 total for both sides. After agreeing they had the repairs done by 12.These guys are professional, fair and efficient. Even if you dont know a lot about cars they do a great job explaining your situation. They will tell you what needs to be fixed and what to look out for in the future. No pressure sales. Highly recommend if your looking for a trust worthy mechanic!

I went to Insty Tune and lube and the informed me that my car needed a new radiator and they said the I could pay half the total price and half once the service was completed. When I got back to pay the remaining amount they told me it was $200.00 more. They mislead people on the price. Make sure you get everything in written with the exact price you will have to pay.

First of all WOW. brought my 70 c10 there for a tune and he went above and beyond to get my car running right, explained what was going on, what i can do to fix and make it run better. car runs perfectly, Andre knows his stuff. He handled my car in a couple of hours. Good honest mechanic who knows his stuff. very hard to find these days. will be back to work on my old car.

What an honest shop!! I came here to replace both cv axels on my Corolla as Toyota dealership had said they were leaking and needed replacing. Turns out I did NOT need them replaced and Andre at Insty Tune and Lube called me to tell me the axels looked good. They did NOT need replacing!! Amazing that they were up front and honest versus just taking my money. I highly recommend this auto repair shop to everyone in the Tampa area. A+++++++

Came here for a second opinion on my A/C. First shop said $1100 bc of a bad compressor. Stopped here for a second opinion and glad I did. Quickly diagnosed that is was a bad relay switch! In and out in 10 minutes and saved me $1100! They just earned a loyal customer! Thanks!

They can fix anything here! Oil changes & lube jobs are just a small part of what they do. Cost is reasonable. If Gramas walker needs a bearing or your dragsters engine needs a new supercharger, go there!

Never going back. Very unorganized and non-competent mechanics. Went there for a clacking sound on front drivers side. I told them it was prob my idler arm and even brought the part with me. The front office guy even went on a drive with me and confirmed the noise. Dropped truck off and they called saying it was something else and they would fix it. I said fine and would come pick up later. I get there later and pay. As soon as I start to drive out of parking lot - there was same sound. I drop it off again next day. They gave no reason as to why they charged me the day before for other thing (which was not making noise) and ended up replacing my idler arm. Imagine that!!! I asked for receipts and the receipts had ‘Oil Change’ on there. I asked and he said he just typed something in. Grrrrrrr.They offered no discounts or anything. I was out time, gas, money because of their incompetence. Never again. Don’t go here. Fair warning.

Andre took care of my 93 year old mothers car. He went above and beyond the original problems to make sure the car was in its best condition. He was a professional and a gentleman. Highly recommended.

If you own a Corvette Insty Tune is the only garage for repairs, advice, anything. They will treat you like family and your vehicle like it’s their own. They have a pit to get the finest access and unlike most dealership or chain repair shops they make an effort to repair your drive if possible and not steer you toward need for an expensive new piece. I’m sure you can bring any make/model of your drive to them and it would be the same. Fairly priced to boot!

I didn’t want to leave a poor review. Good work but I wish their communication w me was better. Walked out paying a little more than what I thought I should have. I called around after the fact (hour to hour and half labor tops, ignition coil-$70-100, ignition module 100-150. Also did work without permission. Just called and said it was fixed. No estimate.

An honest, hardworking, and affordable auto-care shop is nearly impossible to find. After searching for one in the Tampa area and being terrified of the horror stories others have reviewed for other shops, I found Insty with positive reviews and tested them out with an oil change. Easy enough, good price, great inspection. I was a happy customer, so when I needed my belts changed after 100k miles, got quotes from 2 other places previously for $1500+ and was ready to bite the bullet. Asked Insty how much they charge, quoted me half that price. I was shocked and super happy to save a ton. Dropped my car off, they finished in a few hours and even did extra work that they noticed needed done, at no extra cost. People deserve to know great car shops are out there! Needless to say these guys are great, will be honest about what you need to keep you safe on the road, will offer you extra services you may not necessarily need at the time, but its nice to know they offer them, and wont make you get work done that you dont need. No pressure sales, true to their word, not looking to screw over their customers, just giving them quality work at honest prices. I go here first when I need work done, and it gets done fast.

Originally over priced my oil change until I went back for my refund. Said it was due to a glitch which Id doubt. Paid back in cash, so got no accurate receipt of service... Then to top it off, my washer fluid was half filled when I paid extra for it to have been filled.Service was fast.

Theyre honest, they care about their customers, and Ive even had them go to bat for me when a shop that I got my tires from tried to screw me over. My wife and I had been taking her 2007 Volkswagen Beatle to the dealer for service for years and we were paying a lot of money for oil changes, tire rotation, etc. etc. Someone told us that they were taking their cars to this garage for service and were really impressed by their work and prices. We switched to them for regular service and when the car went in for the 30,000 miles service and inspection they checked the car over from front to back as they always do, cables, fluids, etc. and etc. providing us with a computer print-out of what was done. The cost was almost half of what we would have paid at the dealership and the attitude of the people working on the car was terrific. We have recommend them to all our friends no matter what make of car they drive and recommend that you also give them a try.

I brought my wifes car here for oil on ladies day and asked for the discount (wifes car). They said I looked like I had enough estrogen to get the deal. Good times. Since then they have done brakes on both our cars and been good to do biz with. No problems.

Went there to get my ac fixed because I had overcharged my system. They removed all of my freon then refilled my system but during the refill they over charged the ac system and I was getting nothing but pure hot air out of my vents. The wanted $600 for the fix. Ended up going to another shop who put the freon at the correct charge and charged me zero dollars. Please stay away from this place.

Ive been using Insty Tune since the early 90s. Same car, and it runs great because of these guys! Always fair and trustworthy. Last Saturday a warning appeared: LOW OIL PRESSURE - STOP ENGINE. Although they were swamped and short handed, the squeezed me in and within 45 minutes of diagnosing the problem, my car was fixed and I was out the door. These guys ROCK! Highly recommended shop!

I previously used another shop to service my vette and while I have no complaints about the other place, the service at Insty hands down surpassed every shop Ive ever frequented outside of my own family (not driving 8 hours to have family work on my cars...sorry)!These guys know their vettes and can diagnose issues in minutes and perform repairs well below what I would have expected to pay elsewhere! It wont matter to me in the future what type of vehicle I own...they will be my shop of choice!

I had a good experience here. You have to go way around the back around the Tire Kingdom. DO NOT ask them for a tire deal; they are not associated with the Tire Kingdom, but are frequently confused with the tire guys. Insty Lube will rotate your tires, but doesnt sell any.

No wait / fast service / friendly staff. They do not accept competitor coupons. Their oil change prices might be higher than non-quick service places, but Im ok paying a little extra to sit around 15 minutes instead of 2 hours. Im going to visit them again next time I need an oil change!
